Our Parish Priest was away today but one of the Deacons had a Procession with the Blessed Sacrament for a number of blocks around the Church today.. yes, in the crazy heat and humidity we are under here although Jesus is so worth it! Bill had been asked to be a canopy holder under which Jesus would be carried, but due to his health issues, he asked our son Mike to do this in his place. So we were blessed to have our son take part in this! We had to wait in the Church as we couldn't participate due to the humidex of mid to high 40's today. Needless to say, Mike was soaked when he got back! All for Jesus!
Wonderful. I was visiting the Provincial capital, Lugo yesterday and saw the most beautiful Eucharistic Procession enter the Cathedral. It is one of the few Cathedrals in the World were they have permission from the Vatican to have 24/7 Adoration. You could feel the effects of this on entering the whole place was like one big loving hug.
