What I dont get is why these "men of God" do not see the correlation between the savage slaughter of innocent babies and the unraveling of everything else. It's like putting bandaid on to cure a terminal patient when the ugly tumor within goes untreated. Its so obvious where the world began its descent. But now the Church so called seems to be "accompanying" them down the steep and slippery slope.
They have fallen in love with The World and thus speak with the Voice of the World. 1 John 4 The Voice( 4 My loved ones, I warn you: do not trust every spirit. Instead, examine them carefully to determine if they come from God, because the corrupt world is filled with the voices of many false prophets. 2 Here is how you know God’s Spirit: if a spirit affirms the truth that Jesus the Anointed, our Liberating King, has come in human flesh, then that spirit is from God. 3 If a spirit does not affirm the true nature of Jesus the Anointed, then that spirit does not come from God and is, in fact, the spirit of the antiChrist.a]'>[a] You have heard about its coming; in fact it is already active in the world. 4 My children, you have come from God and have conquered these spirits because the One who lives within you is greater than the one in this world. 5 But they are of this world, and they articulate the views of the corrupt world, which the world understands. 6 We come from God, and those who know God hear us. Whoever is not from God will not listen to us. This is the way we discern the difference between the spirit of truth and the spirit of deception.
Yes, that was my feelings....it’s wasn’t about the island issue...it was the general authority he asserts that we adhere to UN dictates. No......We don’t answer to them ...nor are we accountable to that evil gang.
That’s the whole point...we should not subscribe to a “world government “ body as though they have the right to dictate “ world rules”.... regardless if they rule for or against our interest. Why would we surrender a power like that to any world organization? That’s nuts!
Thank you Padraig for that reminder...remember, some of us traditional Catholics are “obsessed” with killing babies according to PF. Personally, I’m fed up with his liberal garbage.
You know after all these years I still hope to myself that I've made a huge mistake about the whole thing and everythings alright, that I 've just misunderstood him. Then I can wake up from this whole ghastly nightmare.
We have really tried...for years to give him the benefit of the doubt. Personally, I’m just done. I’m not going anywhere. I’m staying right here in the one true faith...and I’ll fight to keep it the true faith. I’m just done with trying to ignore the obvious. That’s just me.
Yes...it never ends. How many times are we going to look the other way? I’ll pray for him, but I’ll not be defending this stuff.
Isaiah 5:20 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Same here, Padraig, and it can be soul destroying at times. Today I listened to the audio book of the St. Catherine of Sienna Treatise on Obedience. Obedience is essential for Catholics. It's such a conflict between obedience and a willingness to shelve the Faith passed down to us and accept something contrary to it being passed off as a new paradigm. I posted this link over on the Freemason thread: https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/...y-pope-imam-eclipses-jesus-as-mediator-savior . It's about a Swiss Bishop's response to the Abu Dhabi document. The Bishop, at the end of his statement, says that we should assess the Abu Dhabi Declaration according to these words spoken by Pope Francis at his first Papal Mass: "Thirdly, professing. We can walk as much as we want, we can build many things, but if we do not profess Jesus Christ, things go wrong. We may become a charitable NGO, but not the Church, the Bride of the Lord. When we are not walking, we stop moving. When we are not building on the stones, what happens? The same thing that happens to children on the beach when they build sandcastles: everything is swept away, there is no solidity. When we do not profess Jesus Christ, the saying of Léon Bloy comes to mind: "Anyone who does not pray to the Lord prays to the devil." When we do not profess Jesus Christ, we profess the worldliness of the devil, a demonic worldliness." Perhaps that Bishop is finally realising what we have noticed since early in the Francis papacy: that he makes statements (usually to the choir) in line with the faith and later goes on to do or say the exact opposite.
Iread a nice quote from Cardinal Newman this morning, "I shall drink to the Pope, if you please – still, to conscience first and to the Pope afterwards," Well worth remembering.
I really don't see any unity coming from the so called clans (regardless of catchy twitter hashtag and coy marketing strategy) without the POPE, the Vicar of Christ on earth and our Shepard leading the charge. Period. End of story. He is the only one, save Jesus triumphant return who has the charge to do this (and the Grace) bestowed on him to do it. We are an apostolic church. This is Catholic teaching. Not ignore all the differences various factions of it have to unite against him and resist him as one. If the pope will not unite and confirm his brethren as Jesus very distinctly instructed Peter then how can we, the sheep, be anything but scattered. These are the times we are in. Imagine sheep who hearing a voice calling to gather them to the field or to water rather than following this voice instead all group together but refuse go near him in solidarity. The sheep know the Shepard's voice so then how can this be the Shepard?
