Where is this reported? There have always been hope by the Church that he would hope to visit. Nothing solid. Who is reporting that he is contemplating a trip to Moscow?? Can you provide a link?

 

I just saw this now in the Reuters article. wow!

 

If I am not mistaken, Conchita said it is not something to look forward to. You will see your sins plus the effect of those sins on others. You will see the ripple effect if you will and also you will feel how your sin made God feel. For example, imagine if you will that when you were younger you said something really awful to a classmate. That one awful thing said could have had a major impact on that person's life to where it led to a lifelong battle with depression and other problems. My understanding is you will see that situation, see how it made that person feel and see how it made God feel. It will be an awful encounter to go through but coming out on the other end will be such a wonderful experience for us all. What great mercy and love the Warning is from God. I had a very rough dream/gift from God about 6 years ago where I got to see and feel a sin from my life and also got to experience pure terror from a demon. It was horrifying while going through it, but in the very end, I was scooped up in the loving arms of Jesus. That is a feeling I will never remember and honestly something I long for again to feel. You really can't put into the words the love you feel when being held in the arms of Jesus or the love you see and feel when looking into His eyes. That dream I will never ever ever forget and at the same time it is a dream/experience you wish you could have again. I absolutely both fear and long for the warning.

 

One caution though is our definition of soon vs Gods is way different!!! Remember all the disciples thought Jesus would return in their lifetimes. Also, the Blessed Mother told Sister Lucia she would stay on the earth a little longer after Jacinta and Fransisco passed away. That little bit longer was until she was in her 80's. For some reason though, I have always had a strong internal inclination to the Warning being in 2022. We know it will be in an even year and most likely the month of April. It's always fun to speculate on dates but dangerous to put too much hope and stock in them ever coming to fruition.

 

Thanks HH, the difference though is that I for years have been trying to live a holy life but never succeeded at any real level. Most priests knew me by my first name . The grace here is not one I asked for or expected. It seemed to be more an offshoot of something else. I dunno.

 

Thanks Heartbeat, I’d love to have a priest like that as a confessor. He would keep one grounded. He’s not Irish by any chance?

Seriously though pride is probably always the best ( if there is a best sin) and in my mind the most necessary one to start with. Frances Hogan would also advise to tell not only the sin but the why behind it. The ‘why’ can reveal a lot of hidden motives etc.

 

Thanks PF, pre DW I would have absolutely agreed with you. But with this new experience which literally happened overnight, something different occurred. Im not saying I’m not a sinner or that I don’t feel unworthy. Im saying that my sin life just virtually disappeared. If I as much as think a negative thought about a person, immediately there is an unease in my spirit. This is totally new to me. I’ll bring your thoughts to my spiritual director the next time and come back to you on it.
And just to finish, I’ve been praying for years for a spiritual director and can happily say now that I have one. They are in their 80’s with a life steeped in prayer and full of wisdom. A real blessing to me.

In my own life, there are two occasions when tremendous graces were given to me: at the time of my conversion when I experienced a marvelous outpouring of grace from the Holy Spirit, and then in 1987 when the intercession of Our Lady healed me of what Geralyn and I called, my tailspins. This occurred on the First Friday of December, when a verse from the first reading at Holy Mass gave me an irresistible confidence in the promise of God (right before our Medjugorje trip). The first occasion in 1977 uprooted any temptations toward foul language and binge drinking when I experienced the love Christ has for me! The second in 1987 eradicated a pattern of self-condemnation that had harmed my relationship with wife and children. This was thorough, with no relapses since, even though JoeJerk has repeatedly tempted me. I love that he wastes his time. It's wonderful that he is frustrated.

So if God can be so generous with the likes of me, I question not what he has done for you. Alleluia!

 

There is one strike against the 2022 possibility, Andy3. The Thursday on which the Miracle takes place cannot be a major feast day and that Thursday is Holy Thursday. I hope the Miracle will be 4/11/24, following Divine Mercy Sunday. It seemed so far away at one time, but not now. And if I'm mistaken, it won't be the end of the world!

Wonderful explanation of the warning. Your experience with Jesus sounds so beautifully similar to those who have near death experiences!

 

When you said 'ripple effect' it reminded me of the novel The Five People You Meet in Heaven. When the main character, Eddie, arrives in Heaven his first lesson is that there are no random events in life and all individuals and experiences are connected. That was an amazing dream Andy, what a blessing. Wonderful post.

 

The Warning can come after the Synod in October 2022. And the miracle can come within the year during Lent of 2023.

 

The warning and miracle are supposedly in the same calendar year.

 

I thought it was within 12 months of each other, not necessarily the same calendar year?

 

I saw the interview with Mari Loli and she said within a year. She was very clear. Now if that changed for whatever reason, I don’t know why?
