As for all of this 'discord' going-ons between Fr. Michel and now, the two bishops ...and between Emmet & Mark Miravelle with CTTK... At this point, I'm just not going to take sides to this nor am I going to stick up for anyone. God will take care of this in His own timing. Just like how it happened with all other seers and their local bishop(s), and the disbelievers vs. believers at: Fatima, Lourdes, Garabandal, Medjugorje, etc. Time will tell in His due time. Time for us to just stand back and continue to just pray the rosary, regular confession, read bible, attend Mass, fasting and Love. God is Love; not hate, not criticisms, not discord, not division. Evil is rampant everywhere and time is running short.
Wasn't there a private revelation(s) in past that Our Lady had said something somewhat like the following, "...there will be cardinal against cardinal, bishops against bishops, priests against priests..."? (I don't remember right offhand where I saw this from.)
In the meantime, we should just post the links here in forum to keep us all up to date and then just pray and wait to see. IMHO +++

Hope everyone is doing well

Just came on and found everyone on this thread.

I saw a few videos Fr. M and didn’t see anything wrong. Now i haven’t seen everything and what i have seen was his English versions which is not his first language.

He could be real or could be fake.

I actually knew Charlie was fake from day one and when i saw him live...i knew it was a matter of time before he self imploded.

For someone to be a messenger or prophet they have to be all in. God even allows you to decide. He won’t force you to go all in. But once you are all in, there are some traits that are common to all.

1. Humility and Acceptance to God. That means obedience to Bishops even if you think or know they are wrong. WHY? Because by accepting (yourself) being a messenger, you are accepting God is charge. Doesn’t matter what obstacle...God can correct it.

2. You don’t want to be the story. The last thing you want to be is main part of message. Humility puts you in background.

3. You are all in. Personal-Quiet Prayer accelerates. You rather be praying then preaching...even though your preaching becomes prayer.

4. The peeling away of the material world MUST happen. All the layers of the onion MUST be peeled away and vessel is left empty...so it can be filled by Holy Spirit.


Being chosen by God is the easy part. Accepting the CROSS is a whole different story.

From what i saw Fr. M didn’t say anything spiritually wrong. He could have gotten all that information from reading MOG. His preaching might just be his personal insight and he decided to share. Was he chosen by God, YES...we all are. But did God tell him to be his personal messenger...doubt it. And i don’t think Fr. M ever said he was.

Lets not stress...as long as he’s just telling us to pray, its ok. If he tells us to stop working and sell everything...i would have issues.

I have no dog in this fight. BUT...it takes a special person to accept the cross when asked.

These numbers from Fr. Gobbi's "Blue Book" messages are given "to read as if happening now"! How fitting is this one from 1986 for our current times....these messages were to be fulfilled in the future.

On September 6th, 2020, this Californian soul “saw” the number 332 from the Blue Book, a message originally given to Fr. Stefano Gobbi on September 6th, 1986 on the Anniversary of the “miracle of the tears”:


My Heart is bleeding
I am your most sorrowful Mother. Again today, I am causing copious tears to fall from my merciful eyes. They want to make you understand how great the sorrow of the Immaculate Heart of your Heavenly Mother is. My Heart is bleeding. My Heart is transfixed with deep wounds. My Heart is immersed in a sea of sorrow. You live unconscious of the fate which is awaiting you. You are spending your days in a state of unawareness, of indifference and of complete incredulity. The Church of Jesus is wounded with the pernicious plague of infidelity and apostasy. In appearance, everything remains calm and it seems that all is going well. In reality, She is being pervaded with an ever widening lack of faith which is spreading the great apostasy everywhere. Many Bishops, Priests, Religious and Faithful no longer believe and have already lost the true faith in Jesus and in the Gospel. For this reason, the Church must be purified, with persecution and with blood.

There has also entered into the Church disunity, division, strife and antagonism. The forces of atheism and Masonry, having infiltrated within it, are on the point of breaking up its interior unity and of darkening the splendor of its sanctity. These are the times, foretold by me, when Cardinals will be set against Cardinals, Bishops against Bishops and Priests against Priests and the flock of Christ will be torn to pieces by rapacious wolves, who have found-their way in under the clothing of defenceless and meek lambs. Among them there are even some who occupy posts of great responsibility and, by means of them, Satan has succeeded in entering and in operating at the very summit of the Church. Bishops and Priests of the holy Church of God, how great today is your responsibility! The Lord is about to demand of you an account of how you have administered His vineyard. Repent, seek pardon, make amends and, above all, be once again faithful to the task which has been entrusted to you.

Sin is being committed more and more, it is no longer acknowledged as an evil, it is sought out, it is consciously willed and it is no longer confessed. Impurity and lewdness cover the homes built by your rebellion. This is the reason why my Heart is bleeding—because of the obstinate disbelief and the hardness of your hearts. My Heart is bleeding to see you so closed and insensitive to my sorrowful motherly admonition. My Heart is bleeding because I see your roads even now smeared with blood, while you live in an obstinate unconsciousness of that which awaits you.

I have two small points... Fr. Rodrigue said he'd been given a title, "Apostle of the End Times." So he did say God had selected him as His personal messenger. And he went beyond telling people to pray, he told them to buy and store three month's worth of food--not unreasonable at all, but maybe financially hard for some. But, he also said people would be led to refuges and would have to leave everything behind...He did go beyond prayer. Fr. Rodrigue's prophecies of death and destruction apparently frightened "fragile" Christians, Bishop Lemay said. Sadly, it seems Fr. Rodrigue himself was lacking strong spiritual direction from his superiors at this time.

I agree with your assessment, here, Christy. I also wonder why Father said that he told everything to his bishop. If Father was lacking strong spiritual direction from his superiors, what part did his own actions play in this lack? In fairness to Bishop Lemay, he says he knew that Father Michel was preaching retreats. But we have since learned that he was not told the material contained in those retreats.

 

Does anyone recall a post way back about a group of people who actually visited Fr. Rodrigue's refuge deep in the woods in a mysterious location? It was a very detailed story that described an encounter with an odd caretaker, a run down camp, and a chapel where they saw a very large photo of Fr.Rodrigue. We thought the story was too farfetched to be credible. It does makes you wonder how fearful some of his followers were, and what extreme measures they had taken as a result of his messages. Who knows how many stories about Fr.Rodrigue were brought to Bishop Lemay's attention.

Scripture – If I Have Not Love
If I have the gift of prophecy and comprehend all mysteries and all knowledge; if I have all faith so as to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. (Today’s First Mass reading; 1 Cor 13:2)

None of us at Countdown to the Kingdom could have predicted that this website would be launched at virtually the same time as when churches across the world would begin to close and people would be looking for direction. Nor did any of us predict the incredible letters and fruits we now receive daily from readers across the world telling us of how their entire families are being moved and even converted through the messages here. Nor did we foresee the nearly weekly controversies that would follow the work we do here.

But we did foresee that all of the above would draw persecution, mockery, and misunderstanding—for that’s what happens wherever the Word of God is proclaimed.

As Jesus said in today’s Gospel:

To what shall I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? They are like children who sit in the marketplace and call to one another, ‘We played the flute for you, but you did not dance. We sang a dirge, but you did not weep.’

In the prophetic words posted daily here at Countdown, we hear the cry of the Blessed Mother from seers around the world who’ve never met each other, who speak different languages, who celebrate different rites… yet, saying the same thing: we have been warned, but we have not listened. Heaven has sung a dirge, but we did not weep.

For John the Baptist came neither eating food nor drinking wine, and you said, ‘He is possessed by a demon.’ The Son of Man came eating and drinking and you said, ‘Look, he is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’

Or as one Catholic critic said recently, some of the prophecies here are nothing but ‘baptized astrology, End Times speculation sold as “prophecy,” and fear-based gnosticism.’ Yes, this is how some of the “intellects” in the Catholic media today view prophecy, a gift of the Holy Spirit affirmed in Scripture and Tradition. For without a childlike heart, it is impossible to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus said—or to understand the things pertaining to it.

But not so with the humble of heart who are not intimidated by the indignant fear-mongering of those who would sooner stone the prophets than carefully discern them. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches:

Guided by the Magisterium of the Church, the sensus fidelium [sense of the faithful] knows how to discern and welcome in these revelations whatever constitutes an authentic call of Christ or his saints to the Church. —n. 67

Yes, there are controversies; yes, there are bishops who disavow the prophecies published here; yes, clergy and seers and visionaries are all human and thus prone to mistakes and misunderstandings. Which is why St. Paul’s words are so crucial at this time when the Catholic Church is rapidly losing her freedoms:

Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, love is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth.

We feel that this is the key mindset necessary in continuing to discern the alleged prophetic words that are being compiled here. That patient discernment is necessary; that mockery of the prophetic is out of place; that there be no jealousy toward seers who are gaining more attention than ourselves; that we are not rude and inflated in our own speculations and opinions on the times; that we do not rejoice when a seer may be censured; and when they are, that we do not brood over the injury caused and turn against our bishops. And that, above all, using the gift of discernment, the tools of Sacred Tradition, and reading the “signs of the times,” we rejoice in the truth of Our Lord’s and Lady’s words, even if they are difficult to hear.

For our part, we who work behind the scenes of this website continue to have daily discussions to carefully navigate the graces but also dangers that are present in the discernment of prophecy. There is a lot of theology, research, weighing of magisterial statements, etc. that goes into everything we do. We take our responsibility seriously. We back everything here with Scripture, Sacred Tradition, the Church Fathers, and the Magisterium and are ready to defend this work on those terms. Why? Because this is about souls—not about seers.

We realize that, just as in Christ’s time, there are those who will scoff and mock this work—who will dismiss these visionaries as “possessed”, “gluttons” and “drunkards”, so to speak. There’s nothing new under the sun: we stoned the prophets of old and we stone them now. Infected by the spirit of rationalism in our times, some have simply lost the capacity to hear the voice of God. They have eyes to look but cannot see; they have ears to hear, but will not listen. There is nothing the seers are saying today that is not already in the news headlines. Nonetheless, as Pope Francis said,

Those who have fallen into this worldliness look on from above and afar, they reject the prophecy of their brothers and sisters… —POPE FRANCIS, Evangelii Gaudium, n. 97

But here also is a call to what St. Paul called “a still more excellent way” than prophecy: the way of love. Rather than falling into the trap of division that Satan is setting in our families, parishes, and communities, those of us who are heeding Heaven’s Messages need to be the face of mercy, the face of love: of patience, kindness, etc. Let us strive to keep unity, even if we disagree. Yes, the ability to peacefully disagree today has been all but lost on this generation with tragic consequences.

In the end, the truth will prevail—including the prophecies on this website that are authentic, whether they agree with our sensibilities and personal theories or not. For, as Jesus said in the Gospel today:

Wisdom is vindicated by all her children.

I do recall the post. If true, there was much spoilage and wastefulness over the years due to failed prophecies about when the refuges will be needed.
I think John Leary is one of the first to bring up the idea of refuges and he did that at least by 2008 and 2009. I think this reinforces a possible strong connection between Fr. Michel and John Leary, whose messages were ruled not of supernatural origin by his own Bishop. Note that Fr. Michel and John Leary did the retreats in 2019. I think a few were done in 2018.

Your points are beautifully made, Fallen Saint. I also ponder a lot about the suffering those incur who accept the Cross. That is why I enjoyed the new Fatima film, While to some it is the film's main flaw, that the film centered on the children, specifically Lucia, it showed the suffering this little girl went through from those in authority over her; her family, her neighbors, the clergy and the local officials, were all blaming her for their misfortunes, just because she said that she had seen Our beloved Lady.

How many of us here with family who are far away from the Church can now identify with this extract from the messages of Our Lady to Father Gobbi. Scary when you come to think of it. Keep Watch and Pray.

 

It is very obvious to me in reading this that Mr. Mallet believes he has his finger on the pulse of truth, empowered by an authority he clearly lays claim to, and also, that he sees himself as a victim due to his proclaming of this perceived truth. Doesn’t this in itself speak VOLUMES to anyone who has a prayer life and can read between the lines, or is my sensus fideliun in need of repair? Is he making excuses for the way he and his associates do things over there? Why am I inclined to think that it’s a case of stubbornness against letting go of their baby, the “prophetic consensus”? Why do I think it’s so important to them to be validated in all their efforts? Why do they persist in what MANY—whether they acknowledge this or not—see as an objectively reckless approach?

Sorry, but it really angers me when I think of how a ton of good people are being given a misleading novelty, all wrapped up in supposedly supportive Scripture/Magisterial quotes which function more as self-validations.

But, hey, I’m the baddie hear, right? You’d think I didn’t have anything better to do that harp on the forum about CDTTK. A part of me feels like saying, “Go ahead, everyone. It’ll all come out in the wash. I’m just a glutton for punishment who believes she should take a lot of time to type out her thoughts, thinking she’s inspired to offer some Christian-like service to fellow—oftentimes anonymous—members on this forum.”

I pray that I am not acting out of hidden pride. Please pray for me in this regard. But, maybe I have the nose for it because it sometimes takes one to know one. ~AN
