Yes, no matter how you look at it, there will be more civil unrest toward all out (dare I say) rebellion or revolution?

 

I think you , Beth B. and Mario, are correct.

For practical reasons, it will be a very good idea to lay enough food and drink for family, pets, and neighbors, to weather this storm for three to six months. It will be unlike what we have experienced in the past.
I also believe that Father Michel's advice to have a handy copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, rosaries and bibles and other extra sacramentals to share will be most helpful to those seeking Our Lord.
For if a second virus occurs, and churches will close again, we must be ready to help our brothers and neighbors, who want to encounter our Lord in the good news of the Gospels.

We may not have electricity or wifi, if so I will miss this forum. But we remain united in Christ.

I don't wish to derail this thread but if anyone knows where I can obtain materials to make scapulars, please send me a message.

 

I have not seen DATES among their timeline. It's a chronology spelled out to aide understanding & discernment of Revelation along with private revelation, nothing more. We DO have our current prophets of these times. No one has to believe any of them, whomever they truly are among the false ones.

If seeking such guidance, pray for right discernment. No need for anyone to be insulting in the process.

Let's pray Our Mother guide us in charitable understanding of her Son and what they are trying to share with us to keep us awake and our LAMPS LIT!

 

Fr.Heilman..I just cant walk away from his request to join in yet another "attack" on the devil. So I have included his 45 days to Freedom from the Devil campaign into my daily prayer and fasting regime! Only now I printed out a schedule and check off each novena/consecration/chaplet that Ive committed to when Im done.It makes it easier to get them all in for the day!
As I said in an earlier post I feel a real sense of URGENCY to use this time that Heaven has given me to "step up to the plate" and do my part in what Mary has requested that we do !! I sense that time is running out!

Spot on Joan!!! Well stated! I feel the same way about CTTK! Peter Bannister is not my cup of tea however.His videos are tedious and hard to digest. I tried to understand his point of view but couldnt make it thru any of his videos and deleted them.

 

I too have had friends email me about Father Rodrigue and Countdown to the Kingdom. This site has a mixed bag of content ...some of it is reasonably questionable to the faithful who follow prophecy. Most folks I know personally who are asking questions are not on MOG and are quite confused about the churches position on the post on the countdown site...and understandably so.
Discussion and even disagreements related to this site and the prophecy content on these sites is and should be discussed...that’s part of what the MOG Forum function is intended for...
Not just this issue, but any number of issues relating to our Catholic faith re political, clerical, theology, etc.
I don’t think these issues are the reason for the recent contention. From what I see personally, the actual contention seems to be the tone of these discussions/ disagreements.
We are all entitled to ask or question valid concerns about posted content without being made to feel our post aren’t welcome.
If we are all Catholic, regardless of our personal opinions, everyone of us can exercise charity in our responses. We may not reach a consensus on issues, but when disagreements begin to take a negative/ personal attack, then we all need to check ourselves and step back to see how these comments are being viewed in light of our faith.
We can all get caught up emotionally at times and that’s human nature. If we can pull back the negative, personal tone and innuendo that has contributed to these contentious threads, we would all benefit. Satan would love to divide and conquer the good, faithful catholics here. He’s doing it on a global level already.

Personally, I have been in agreement and disagreement with post...and others here have felt the same with my post I’m sure. We should exercise fraternal correction...our faith requires it...but in charity.
If I’ve ever acted or posted in a uncharitable manor, I apologize. If I’ve ever posted anything offensive or unwarranted, I apologize. I hope I haven’t personally offended anyone here at this good forum and it’s members.

The intended purpose of a forum is the public discussion of issues. The times we are living through today are extremely serious and because we are a forum related to faith that is increasingly coming under attack from multiple fronts, we need to continue to discuss and yes, debate these issues. Many relate directly to our eternity and that is good cause to be passionate...how could we not be? How we relate to each other is equally important. I’ve been trying to self correct my own content in these areas. I want to be more charitable to those I’m in not in agreement with, but also have the courage to not stand down to attacks on my faith. I’ll never not defend the truth as I understand it, but if I’m wrong, folks here have every right to correct me....and I hope they do....I don’t want to be ignorant of the truth. Most folks here are blessed to be more theologically versed than myself. Feel free to correct me on facts...you’ll be doing me a favor. I’ll not be offended, but please, let us do this in charity. After all, that it a primary tenant of our faith. Don’t give satan one more victory...he’s done enough damage dividing our church. MOG is a great opportunity to share...but let us share in charity. Only God knows
what’s coming and when. Just keep your lamps lit and souls prepared....and love one another.

I pray I’m wrong about the civic unrest, but if what we’ve just witnessed recently is a prelude to possible post election possibilities, we could be in for a rough time. I can’t believe our nation has spiraled downward so fast. Probably why I think things could go further south regardless of who wins the November election. Passions are already over the top.... and no wonder.

Thank you HH, but I know my very passionate comments may unintentionally offend some folks. I’ve always been passionate and I’m just trying to check myself. I don’t want my opinion to be viewed as prideful. Sometimes it’s a fine line .
I’ve asked God to please show me and help me correct the areas I’m offending Him by my pride. It’s a daily chore for Him I fear....but I’m trying. I’ve been greatly humbled recently and if I get to heaven, I’ll thank God for every painful moment of it....or any other suffering. It stinks now, but I’m not living for now....I’m shooting for heaven for myself and my whole family. God willing....

The glorious reign of Christ will coincide with the triumph of the Eucharistic reign of Jesus, because in a purified and sanctified world, completely renewed by Love, Jesus will be made manifest above all in the mystery of his Eucharistic presence. The Eucharist will be the source from which will burst forth all his divine power, and it will become the new sun, which will shed its bright rays in hearts and souls, and then in the life of individuals, families, and nations, making of all one single flock, docile and meek, whose sole Shepherd will be Jesus. Your heavenly Mother is leading you on toward these new heavens and this new earth, a Mother who is gathering you today from every part of the world, to prepare you to receive the Lord who is coming.
