Here in Ontario (14.5 million peeps) cases are starting to climb again. We were around 150-200 daily in July, by early Aug began climbing to about 800-900 by mid September, then slowly dropped to 300-400 end of Oct and now climbing again quickly to 700. I fully expect cases to continue to climb now as people are inside and sunshine days are super short and the very limited effect of the shots wears off. Funny how gov't, health agencies and media won't admit the vaccines don't really work well and don't stop transmission but they have given that impression for months. It fooled most including most in my family who still think I am crazy when pointing out true facts and data. Of the 711 new cases on Thursday, 322 are in people who are unvaccinated and 314 are in people fully immunized. There are 47 people with an unknown vaccine status and 28 who are partially vaccinated. Health experts have previously said the number of COVID-19 infections identified in fully vaccinated individuals will naturally increase as more people get both of their shots. Vaccination helps reduce the risk of severe symptoms related to COVID-19 as well as hospitalization. The above case has yet to be addressed by the Supreme Court, but personally speaking, the hammer has fallen anyway. The nursing home is short-circuiting my contract and interviewing a deacon and deacon candidate for the chaplain position I held through last Sunday. It's sensible since the spiritual care of the residents is at stake. One wonderful consequence is that one of my own deacon classmates is being interviewed who had been temporarily on the sidelines (nothing to do with covid). Dave has a warm gentle spirit and would be marvelous. I'm a little biased, but I hope he gets the position. The residents will not be left stranded! Today will most probably be my last day at the hospital until the Supreme Court makes a decision. I'm pretty sure the Diocese will allow my return to the hospital if the Court rules in favor of sanity. I had a marvelous day at the nursing home last Sunday; some wonderful (and many) individual visits where God's grace was flowing. For that I am grateful. I'll pretend I'm a member of the Swiss Guard at the Vatican, who ended up in my position also. The Lord giveth, the Lord taketh, blessed be the name of the Lord!

Oh boy, I can relate to this. As soon as my husband's family knew we didn't take the jabs they dropped us pretty quick. I feel bad for my husband, I do wonder if he will ever see his family again. On the bright side, we are blessed to have our children and grandchildren with us for Christmas. Your dogs are good company, they don't judge.

Despite all the evidence on natural immunity, TPTB, will not let up. The only potential alternatives appear to be hunker down, become as self sufficient as you can, form small communities to support one and other. nice video! Yes, 5,000IU is the ideal. Other doctors who are working in risky conditions are even taking 10,000IU and because they want to get that 50 ng/mL. I heard doctors say that if you are taking 5,000IU you can still get sick with covid but you will never end up in the ICU
