The greatest evil mentioned by Mother Theresa above: Communion in the hand. I cringe a little each time I place a Sacred Host in the hand of most parishioners. I have encouraged reception on the tongue but that seems to have had little effect. Another ingrained habit of which JoeJerk is gleefully pleased. Lord have Mercy!
I feel at times like someone who has just woken up from a deep evil sleep of enchantment. I recall my parents at the time of Vatican 2 that a great evil had occurred in the Church but I just laughed at them. May God forgive me. But we were , all of us, lied to and lied to by experts. I love Father Perricone another saint.
