I don't know whether or not there is an unprecedented change in the climate, and I don't know whether or not it is within our power to control the change. Maybe I would be more open to believing the alarmists if they weren't so hysterical and if their public face weren't the world's elite - the type of people I don't trust. I can't recall whether I read or saw someone from Brazil saying that there is a fear in that country that there are moves afoot to take away that sovereign nation's right of governance over the rain forest region of their country. I'm not so sure that their fear is unreasonable given the rhetoric of the climate change lobby. I'm inclined to agree with Andy that money is a factor in this but I'm not sure how much of a factor and whose money is funding either the alarmist lobby or their opposition. Climate change is being used to push the globalist agenda. We see the beginning of the effects on developed countries, but what if the real target is for the 1% in the developed world to control developing regions? Some of the richest people in the world own vast tracts of land in Patagonia, a huge unspoiled area of natural beauty between Argentina and Chile which also has some of the cleanest, purest water in the world. Most of them bought in the 1990's when land was very cheap. The foreign ownership has caused disputes because the area is home to indigenous people, and lives have been lost. At one stage, protesters blocked the road leading to where the billionaires landed their private jets. The rich foreigners claim to be environmentalists, often turning part of their lands into privately owned national parks. In other words, they get to control what is built and who can live in the neighbourhood, especially in countries where public officials don't have a great reputation. Land is precious because nobody's going to find more or make more of it. The area is also reputed to have huge potential for shale oil and gas. Making money from the oil and gas may have been top of the priority list for some of the owners but it's also possible that many of them like being lords of all they survey. At one stage the Argentinian government put a cap on the amount of land a foreigner could own but I think that cap was removed in recent years. There's no guarantee that a future government wouldn't reintroduce a cap on ownership or issue fracking licenses to energy companies, declaring it to be in the national interest. If the Amazon region were to be declared an area of vital importance to the world and the UN given a say in its governance, wouldn't that set a precedent for other areas of natural beauty or ecological importance? That said, Soros has been (and probably is now) one of those foreign landowners and he also owned (and probably still owns) stocks in Argentina's nationalised energy company. One of his more recent investments in that country has something to do with providing a banking service via a phone app. China's Tencent has also invested in the project. The plan is that the service will make banking more readily available to about half Argentina's population who don't have bank accounts. New money appears to be at war with old money. The great unwashed are mere cannon fodder in the conflict.

In truth, Thunberg is never without her handler, Luisa-Marie Neubauer, a 23-year-old, far-left activist from Germany who’s the “Youth Ambassador” for an international lobbying and campaigning organization known as the “ONE Foundation,” which is funded by George Soros, Bill & Melinda Gates, and Bono, among other celebrity names. Besides the fact that Thunberg herself comes from a family of freemasons, her mother supposedly having ties to Bavarian Illuminati founder Adam Weisshaupt, Neubauer, her controller, works for a major globalist entity that’s working to implement Agenda 2030 in Germany via the Paris Climate Accord. Neubauer is also a member of Alliance 90, The Greens, and Green Youth, three communist organizations that are using the “threat” of climate change as a cover to push for sweeping policy changes all around the globe – changes that will, of course, eliminate freedom and liberty in order to “save the planet.” Neubauer herself actually tweeted about being a member of the ONE Foundation, bragging about the fact that she gets to travel the world spreading climate propaganda with others who were hoodwinked just like she was into believing that global warming is real. Is Bill Gates using Greta Thunberg to push for global depopulation via the climate hoax? According to the ONE.org website, the ONE Foundation was hatched back in the early 2000s by Bill Gates and Bono, who got together and decided that they needed “to better inform Americans about extreme poverty around the world.” With the help of Melinda Gates, Bill’s wife, as well as Bobby Shriver, Ed Scott, Bob Geldof, Jamie Drummond, and George Soros, Gates and Bono developed “an anti-poverty advocacy organization called DATA that focused on deploying celebrities and other influential individuals to urge world leaders to take action on specific development issues.” DATA was eventually merged into several other organizations to form ONE, which now functions as a political activist group that aims to achieve several “global targets,” including “disease, poverty, and other pressing development issues.” It would appear as though Neubauer was herself recruited to be part of ONE, only to turn around and recruit Thunberg. Or perhaps Thunberg was groomed by someone else to play this role, and Neubauer was assigned to be her “mentor,” following her around everywhere she appears publicly. Whatever the case may be, it’s obvious that Thunberg isn’t coming up with the many scripts she reads before Congress, the media, and most recently the United Nations. Heck, she doesn’t even speak English as her first language, yet somehow we’re supposed to believe that Thunberg is able to come up with a nonstop flow of professional speeches to present on any given day? Right. We all believe that. Or not. But the sad thing is that many liberals apparently dobelieve it, revealing that Soros and his cronies are still winning the information war in certain segments of society. No matter how many times climate change is exposed as a total hoax, there’s still a contingency of the populace that believes it to be the gospel truth – especially when little girls appear all over the news to reprimand the world about the “science” behind it. “So-called ‘climate change’ remains the greatest fraud being perpetrated on humanity,” wrote one commenter at The Gateway Pundit. “It is nothing more than a multi-trillion dollar taxation and wealth redistribution program scheme designed by the U.N. to destroy America by destroying capitalism.”
Geldof and Bono. We in Ireland have certainly punched above our weight in the international lunacy stakes. Geldof wants to tell everyone how to run our lives, although he failed utterly in looking after his own wife and family. Bono merely thinks he's God or maybe something better. Never liked their music either. As Macron has shrewdly realised, these Bolsheviks are only preaching to the converted, but are probably turning off neutral opinion. Remember the vital contribution that Geldof made to the success of the Brexit referendum when he derisively mocked those fishermen from his luxury yacht on the Thames. I've always thought that was the vital media moment that clinched it.
The unwashed masses are no longer falling for their propaganda hook line and sinker. That is why they are growing restless and anxious. That is why they are resorting to using teenage girls dressed as middle schoolers to chastise the world. Their time is short. The only ones who follow them are those who adore them. Their days of winning others over to the lie are through. War will come next.
With the hysteria around stuff like this it is becoming more and more evident how many people will fall for the AC when he eventually arrives on the scene.
On the other hand, there are a lot of people quietly dissenting from the hysteria. Given what has happened Ryan Tubridy, it is understandable if many keep their thoughts to themselves.
Apparently, he made the quite reasonable suggestion that maybe Greta would be better off if her parents took her to a movie, rather than continually exposing her to all this current stress and pressure, as one would do with any ordinary youngster, with the result being headlines of his being attacked for criticising saint Greta. Such is the intolerance of the progressives that the slightest, most modest, dissent is immediately trampled underfoot with absolute, maximum force.
This morning the climate protesters are out again on the streets of DC disrupting commuter traffic. They have pledged to be there in perpetuity or until their agenda has been met. I am sitting in a waiting room right now watching the local news. They have the police involved in monitoring the protests.
I always wonder how people can afford to spend endless hours protesting. Then I remember that they are most likely funded by George Soros and "working" the protest is their source of income.

Greta Tunberg is more than slightly unhinged. That does not concern me; I could not count in my own work place and street the number of people I might have similiar concerns about. I have grown quite used to this. What does concern me though is that, considering her very obvious troubling mental state, that the entire Planet appears to take her increasingly hysterical rants concerning our alleged imminent demise seriously. The bottom line appears to be that we should begin to hate ourselves for simply being ourselves and living on the Planet Earth Now that does concern me. What nonsense.
The latest protest in the u.k. actually today is against 'speciesism.' Just read about it half hour ago. The eco leaders know what they are doing and the useful idiots believe it. Eminent barrister Michael Mansfield proposes eating meat should become an 'eco crime.' At least that will solve the cruelty of all our meat having to be halal.
