But it is delightful how often true messages dovetail together.

Is it possible for a validly elected pope to become a false pope?

It depends on waht ezxactly is meant by false. If by false we mean one who promulgates false teachings then no. But false in the sense of evil then yes, there was for instance one Pope at least who appeared to have been a devil worshipper.

I've been thinking that protestants have partial truth, and two things will happen that will seem to verify their erroneous beliefs.

    1. The Catholic Church is the seat of the anti-christ. If an evil man assumes the chair of Peter invalidly, and then champions the one world religion of the anti-christ, this belief will appear true. When in fact, the true Church will still exist as an underground remnant.

    2. The rapture. Since protestants are spiritual infants, God in His mercy will call them home, perhaps dying in an instant in the many natural and man-made disasters, because without sanctifying grace they could not refuse the mark of the beast. Those who belong to God 100% will convert to the true faith after the warning. These will be the only ones who will be able to persevere to the end.

:DMy own provate prayerful belief is that Revelations 12 means what it says on the box and when it talks of a 'Great Signs appearing in the heavens '..'A woman clothed with the sun' it actually means what it says, the Woman is Mary, our Protestant sisters and brothers wil lsee this as wil lthe whole world, giving as it where no one anywhere to hide from grace.

Fatima was in fact a prefigurement of Revelation of what is to occur at the Illumination. It is necessary because nothing short of this wil lget their collective asses moving.

I believe this because of what I have seen in my dreams rather than what I have read, for what it is worth.

So there will be two signs for the price of one. The Cross with the Crucified Christ and Mary standing beside it, stars and all.

No one Christian or non Christain on seeing this in the heavens could be given a claerer pointer to the one true Church. Along with this of course the Illumination, a double whammy.

Alongside this of course the permanent signs at every Marian site in the world, Lourdes, Fatima, Garabandal ect.

Again something Our Protestant, Islamic, Jewish, whatever sisters and brothers could not worthily reject. Though of course many with malice will reject it.

This is all described in Scripture both the Old and New testaments. Mark Mallett has wrote well about it.

I feel the same way, garabandal. I feel it may be exactly what our broken world needs. May His will be done.

Well the more graces we get the more will be expected of us...and as events unfold we will need all the grace we can get.

I always felt sorry for people like St Bernadette Soubirous. She actually saw Our Lady, but it came with a price.

We may see the heavens open and the stars dance shortly but it has a price tag.
Grace is free but it isn't cheap. We'll be passed a very big ball, but we will all have to run with it.

Padre Pio prophesied that the price would be paid by the bloodshed of the faithful.

Going back to the talk of television and movies in this thread, I have noticed something lately that is the opposite of all the bad out there. I saw the new Hobbit movie recently and there was a very clear to me symbol of the Eurcharist in this movie. In this book, Bilbo needs to take back the arkenstone from the dragon. When they first enter the lonely mountain they see an image of what looks like a pedestal and above the pedestal there is this white round stone with rays of light carved into the stone coming out of it. It was very clear to me that this was the host in a moonstrance. Now I know or at least think I know that Tolkein was a Catholic becasue the Catholic symbology in this story is everywhere. I did not suspect that they would put this kind of an image in the movie. I have searched for this image on google but could not find anything. Also, on a different note, right before the movie, they played the trailer for the new Godzilla movie. Almost instantly in this trailer It was clearly Revelation 12 to me about the red dragon falling and took a 3rd of the stars with him. Here is the trailer. Do you see it as well?

Yes, J.R.R. Tolkien was indeed Catholic. I also understand he was chosen to translate the Song of Songs in the New Jerusalem Bible, because of his love and gift for language.

He went to mass every day, he was very, very devout. He denied that the books were about Jesus himself, he described it as the story of the ordinary Christian , every souls journey. He was also fluent in 11 languages so you get all kinds of cultural influences coming in.

Notice Tolkein too talks of a showdown between good and evil.

These messages make sense to me. When reading them I couldn't help but feel they true. I am Saying many prayers and asking for guidance. I do appreciate the humbleness of Cletus and the directness of the messages. No guessing games on what the message really means, and scripture to go with it.

Consoling, with the times and present difficulties, Tolkien must not of had an easy life.
    I kept this quote:

    * * *

The inspiration for the great fantasy novels of J.R.R. Tolkien cannot be separated from his profoundly Catholic approach to life:

"The Lord of the Rings is of course a fundamentally religious and Catholic work," he wrote, "unconsciously so at first, but consciously in the revision. That is why I have not put in, or have cut out, practically all references to anything like "religion", to cults or practices, in the Imaginary world. For the religious element is absorbed into the story and the symbolism" (Letter 142).

In fact, two of the great loves in the hidden world of Tolkien's imagination were the Eucharist and Our Lady, - upon which all my own small perception of beauty both in majesty and simplicity is founded". By way of encouraging his son, he once wrote:

"Out of the darkness of my life, so much frustrated, I put before you the one great thing to love on earth: the Blessed Sacrament ... There you will find romance, glory, honor, fidelity, and the true way of all your loves upon earth ... which every man's heart desires" (p. 53).
