I knew that blood type of Jesus in the shroud of Turin and the miracle at Lanciano, but having A+ blood type myself, I did not know I could receive blood from any type. Interesting.
It appears to me a type of Mary and Jesus with their hands and heart out reached to embrace the whole world.
I've generally considered Mary to be the genetic duplicate of Eve; and the DNA from the male side came from Adam -- being first created by G_D, Adam's genetic health would have been perfect. Mary as the genetic duplicate of Eve would account for G_D's tolerance of sin in order to produce the genetic outcome He knew would be needed. I am referring to the union of Tamar and Judah, in Genesis 38. Judah's oldest son married Tamar but was killed by G_D for his (unspecified) wickedness. By law, Judah had a leviterite marriage between Tamar and his next oldest son, Onan. When Onan was also killed for wickedness, Judah was supposed to arrange for his youngest son to marry Tamar, but "he forgot." Tamar disguised herself and pretended to be a prostitute on the road Judah would travel to go shear his sheep. She struck a bargain with Judah and became pregnant by him, producing the twins Perez and Zerah and thus ensuring her place in the line of Judah. The thing is that many people don't understand are the leviterite rules of incest. Simply put, having sex with anyone that your father, your mother, your son or daughter had had sex with was considered incest -- an important taboo when whole family groups would share the same tent. For Judah to have sex with Tamar, who had copulated with both Er and Onan, meant that he had committed the sin of incest, and as such, his line would be cursed for 10 generations. (This also explains why Judah didn't take Tamar as a wife later -- still incest.) We see that in scripture, that for 9 generations none of Judah's descendants prospered. The 10th generation, though, produced David. People wonder why G_D didn't chose someone else who would actually obey Him and His laws. It was essential for Judah's genetic line to join with Tamar's so that Mary's genetic duplicate could be created. Pure speculation, of course. BTW, it's generally believed by Biblical scholars that the "sin of Onan", spilling his seed on the ground, wasn't masturbation, but birth control. More specifically, coitus interruptus. By "spilling his seed" to prevent Tamar from bearing a male child, Onan would collect the larger share of his inheritance upon Judah's death. But his doing so was interfering with G_D's plan, so Onan was killed.
