Just in case you haven't heard the three priests and Shane Magowan have teamed up to produce what will surely be THE Christmas hit of 2010, its a rerun of Little Drummer Boy and is truly excellent ; I'd say its right up there with , 'Fairy Tale of New York' ; nice to get some great news in dark days.

Shane asked the three priests for their blessings at the recording and gave them all his own inimitable views on religion.
Awwwwwww I feel all Christmassy already. ;)

    Turn up your speakers!!

Love the Irish...that was beautiful. There's something special about this Advent Season, more than the usual exuberance of the coming of Christmas. God is afoot!

I think somethig is afoot too, Gail. I was up the mountain iverlooking the city this afternoon. We had the coldest November temp every recorded here for November. It was minus 18 F . Over in Britan they recorded one temp at minus 18 C , lowest tempratues all over. The police in some areas have advised people not to leave their homes , never mind go out driving..and of course we are not really into the winter yet.

I had a dream several months ago in which a voice was explaining to me all the different forms the Chastisement would take. But the only one I recal lis a loud voice saying, with great firmeness, 'Even the ground itself will rise against them!''...and in prayer a couple of weeks ago I saw a picture of mountains actually physically moving.
After my dream I had the thought, 'My goodness we are going to get hit with everything including the kitchen sink!!' :)

But the saddest thing is that so few people including members of the Church have any sense of perspective over al lthis; as to why its coming, the causes and the cures, which Our Blessed Lady tried to warn us about over and over and over again.

Here are some beautiful pictures from Antarica:

The cross on top of Observation Hill was erected as a memorial after Robert Scott and his men died returning from the Pole in 1914.

The "Our Lady of the Snows" shrine is a memorial to Richard Williams, a SeaBee (US Navy) who died when his bulldozer broke through sea ice in 1956.

Locally the shrine is affectionately referred to as "Roll Cage Mary" because of the steel frame surrounding the statue.
