Earlier this month, a lens flare or reflection caught in an MSNBC news clip of riots in Egypt caused an Internet flurry of end timers proclaiming that the brief and hazy reflection of what appeared to be someone riding a horse was the 4th Horseman of the Apocalypse. Equally as convincing is the latest sighting: The 2nd — or red — Horseman of the Apocalypse shooting off the sun during last week's solar flares. Of course, it might be a dragon, the man who captured the image admits. "Signs in the heavens, in the sun and the moon, Matthew Chapter 24, and on the earth, distress of nations, kingdom rising against kingdom," the "Prophetic Seer" ominously warns in his video (below). "We're in the time of Revelation, guys. The earth is changing, the sun is changing, earthquakes in diverse places, wars and rumors of wars … We're in the time of the end, guys. This is the Book of Revelation. Be prepared." The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The legendary Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse comes from the Book of Revelation, the final book in the Christian bible. It was written as a series of letters to seven churches by a man living in exile on the Greek island of Patmos. These horsemen are described in Chapter 6, 1-8: Horse #1 – White, Conquest. 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Horse #2 – Red, War. 6:3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Horse #3 – Black, Famine. 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Horse #4 – Pale, Death. 6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. I don't think so, they come together and in some sense or another have always been with us. When we talk of them now we talk of a terrific world wide intensification of their coming, hence perhaps the sightings. It takes me all my time keeping up with and discerning a little of Catholic Prophecy ; but I do like very much Pastor David Wilkerson and have read and watched him in the past. As Catholics, we know who the Ark is, the Woman of Revelation, the Immaculate Heart of Mary! Rev 11:28-12:1 Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple; and there were flashes of lightning, voices, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail. And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; I pray that as the Holy Father meets with the Patriarch of Moscow in the near future, and as God purifies us through the Warning, that we will be united with the David Wilkersons of the world in the Immaculate Heart of Mary and placed in the Barc of Peter 'til the storm passes! Of course much of the symbolism we use for MAry aslo applies to the Church.,so I have no doubt at all that there will be a massive return to the Church founded by Christ as the next few years roll on, in fact we can see the first Signs of a New Spring Time of the Holy Spirit already. But before others can convert the Church itself must convert through intense purification. I like to believe we see the sun shinning there too with a lot of our Bishops examining their roles. If the Shepherds do not repent, then what chance for us poor sheep? But as Jesus pointed out, God can raise Sons of Abraham even from the very stones, so hopefully God will raise up many god lay folks to lead us. In fact as Scripture points out, 'A little child shall lead them', so maybe we are in for a few surprises in that regard too. :wink: I remember many years ago reading David's wonderful and moving book, 'The Cross and the Switchblade'. David as a young Pastor in evanglising the street people often at the greatst personal risk. It reminded me of the risks taken by St Paul and the other early apostles and Chrsitians, I would recommend it to anyone: Also the follow-up book which is wonderful too; 'Beyond the Cross and Switchblade' It occured to me praying about him last night that so long as we are all led by the Holy SPirit we will all be led to the smae place, at the Chair of Peter, at the Feet of Mary. In fact was it yesterday in the Gospel reading we were told about 'others ' who were working miracles in Christ's name and the Apostles wanted to forbid them but Jesus said that those who were not against Him were for Him. Mark 9:37-40 37"(A)Whoever receives one child like this in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me does not receive Me, but Him who sent Me." Dire Warnings 38(B)John said to Him, "Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and (C)we tried to prevent him because he was not following us." 39But Jesus said, "Do not hinder him, for there is no one who will perform a miracle in My name, and be able soon afterward to speak evil of Me. 40"(D)For he who is not against us is [a]for us. One thing particularly impressed me about David was his prophecy about New York City, which is awesome. I have no doubt that the same Holy SPirit who led him so powerfully in his ministry there correctly enlightened him in this regard and his prophecy is quite correct. In Psalm 11:6, David warns, “Upon the wicked he will rain snares (coals of fire)…fire…burning wind…will be the portion of their cup.” Why? David answered, “Because the Lord is righteous” (v. 7). This is a righteous judgment—just as in the judgments of Sodom and in Noah’s generation. WHAT SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS DO? WHAT ABOUT GOD’S PEOPLE? First, I give you a practical word I received for my own direction. If possible lay in store a thirty-day supply of non-perishable food, toiletries and other essentials. In major cities, grocery stores are emptied in an hour at the sign of an impending disaster. As for our spiritual reaction, we have but two options. This is outlined in Psalm 11. We “flee like a bird to a mountain.” Or, as David says, “He fixed his eyes on the Lord on his throne in heaven—his eyes beholding, his eyelids testing the sons of men” (v. 4). “In the Lord I take refuge” (v. 1). I will say to my soul: No need to run...no need to hide. This is God’s righteous work. I will behold our Lord on his throne, with his eye of tender, loving kindness watching over every step I take—trusting that he will deliver his people even through floods, fires, calamities, tests, trials of all kinds. Note: I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off. I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.
