I am a firm believer as well in Christ's words "where your heart is, there is your treasure". These are the most consolling words our Lord spoke for us to know whether we are in the state of grace or not. "A humble contrite heart oh God you will not spurn". Giving 100% fidelity to all the Churches teachings, a prayerful humble heart, practicing the sacraments and a contrite soul and heart united to Mary is sure sign of predestination. After all, the 21 promises of those who say the St. Bridgit prayers for a year or the 15 promises that our Lady gave for those who pray the rosary daily and participating in Divine Mercy Sunday are my confidence in living and dying in the state of grace. The Sanhedrin, Pharisees and Saducees did not have these benchmarks to live by. This is my hope. We have been given much more grace to know whether we are in the state of grace, or not, then anytime in the history of mankind. Thank you Jesus!

 

St Bridgette's Magnificent Prayers was a huge life changer for me. My mom taught us kids the prayers as children but I didn't say them until I was in my 20's. I'm counting on Our Lord making me worthy of receiving the promises. If you go to the sacrament of reconciliation with true contrition and omit nothing, you can be sure to be in a state of grace. I received a plenary indulgence this year on Divine Mercy Sunday and it was the highlight of my year!

 

I left a church like that- the United Methodists gave in on all of that years ago. My old church had many ex Catholics. The Methodist religion I grew up with barely exists anymore. As a relatively new Catholic I find this all disheartening though I know the Church is true and I trust in Jesus. I will never go with some "AmeriCatholic brand"- I might as well have stayed a Mainline Protestant if that is my choice.

 

Charlie, I appreciate your candidness and insight. If you would like to hear one of the foremost authorities on the Shroud speak you can contact Dr. John Jackson in Colorado Springs. He is a dear older friend of mine from the early 90's. He taught Physics at the Air Force Academy years ago and was on the side doing studies on the Shroud of Turin when Rome asked him to gather up a team to do in depth studies on the the shroud in the 70's. He also was at the carbon dating farce that took place on the shroud and he has info that will blow your socks off...
His wife Rebecca is an Orthodox Jew who was an iconographer and a scientist also and she called him from a Denny's one day and told him she could prove the man of the shroud was Jewish. That led to a deep friendship and then marriage with her becoming a devout Catholic.

They put on the Shroud Symposium in Rome every other year. They have a lovely business set up in CS with the original negative of the shroud and give talks and love to travel to places to show what they know scientifically and spiritually. When my priest friend (who is a mystic) and I were there a few years ago, my priest friend exclaimed how wonderful the talk was and how much he didn't know about the shroud. He also said that John had a beautiful light emanating out of his chest while speaking about the shroud. His LOVE was showing! Look them up!! They have a website and are in the phone book.

One of my favorite memories was when I was invited to come to the Shroud Center and Dan Lynch who was the guardian of the missionary image of our Lady of Guadalupe for the Americas had just come back from the Abortion Mill in Boulder where the Image of our Lady started weeping and would NOT STOP! They contacted Dr. John Jackson and asked him if they could bring the image to his center and have people come and venerate the two incredibly miraculous images. (together for the first time!!) By candle light we knelt all night and watched our Lady weep for the aborted babies! Our Lord's image was surreal and it was as if we were in the closed cave with him during the 3 days before the resurrection.

I am familiar with him, Mama S. I saw him in Colorado Springs - and I much appreciate the solid work he has done. Years ago when I was doing radio, I was infuriated that they were doing carbon dating - and that so many Christians were excited about it. I told my listeners that the shroud could not be properly dated because of the fire it went through in the 1500s. Carbon dating measures the most recent organic source that permeates a sample. If a sample is exposed to cigarette smoke, it is useless - for the dating process will measure the age of the smoke - so that the very earliest the dating process could show, even with a margin of error, was early in the second millennium. That, of course, is what it showed.

It is, again, one of the reasons why I remain a stickler for getting the details right - and having a basic grasp of the scientific principles involved. I was certain this was just a cynical attempt to discredit the Shroud from the start. The scientists knew the problems with dating a piece of cloth that had been through a fire before they began - and knew better than I did what the almost certain results would be. Far too many Christians think they are under no need or obligation to learn about anything technical - so started flapping their jaws before they knew what they were talking about. (I hate it that so many Christians think they need not learn anything technical if they have faith - then become easy marks for people who want to humiliate them - then blame God for their own incompetence and failure to learn the actual issues involved). Fortunately, my listeners who were Christian did not have their faith shaken at the results - because I told them what they were going to be before they were released - and why they were going to be that way. The good that came from it was that some of the scientists, even knowing the dating was going to be a bust from the beginning, were so moved and intrigued by what they DID find, that they dug deeper.

Jackson's work on it has been a marvelous addition to the corpus of solid material on it.

 

I don't know if any of you have seen the documentary, "The Real Face of Jesus", which aired on the History Channel, but it was a very exciting show in which some experts, using cutting-edge 3D technology, extracted a real face from the information found in the Shroud of Turin. It is very inspiring, though they keep you waiting until the very end to see the results - most of it is about the process they used, which is interesting in itself.

And...the head scientist who was in charge of it all received an 'anonymous' million dollar grant a year later....John said the scientific way they went about doing things was the sloppiest, most disorganized and unscientific mess he has ever seen. Then the world takes it as truth that it is not the true shroud of Christ...what a farce. Evil just keeps on giving...and taking!

 

I don't know exactly what this woman truly sees. She has tried to explain it to me and its a bit over my head. I think I understand, but then to try and explain it to others is another thing...

I know she doesn't see the future, but she does see the battle going on and that there are many different kinds of beings from other planets or dimensions. She is given pictures and sometimes the understanding that goes with it. Sometimes she just has to wait until God reveals it. She absolutely says the some of the beings are here physically and governments know it. Some are good, some are terribly evil. She sees spiritually that the good out number the evil but they are ready for battle and its all invisible and going on right in front of us. She does see angels and demons. She talks to her guardian angel since childhood. She was climbing a tall pine tree as a child (about 7) and an angel as tall as the tree appeared next to the tree. It was as tall as the house. She fell out of the tree and landed without a scratch and the angel bent down and touched her with something on her mouth. She knew the angel was Gabriel.

She has been told a great many things about technology and she told me of an experience of getting on a bus in Seattle and seeing people surrounded by huge bubbles. These see through bubbles contained pictures and almost a tv like quality showing moving pictures. It was the person's life and their troubles and it was overwhelming to her. She sees music as color and although she doesn't read music she plays the piano beautifully with the music she makes up in her head. She loves to sing and play piano and paint and draw. She is the kindest human being I've ever met. Animals are drawn to her in a supernatural way. She has raised birds most of her life.

She loves cultures and people and loves to bring strangers in to feed them and hear about their lives. I keep telling her she needs to contact Fr. Spitzer who was the President of Gonzaga University and is a brilliant scientist in Astro physics and has the mind of Stephen Hawkings. She really could give him a run for his money! She has been hurt emotionally by a few priests. Two told her she was crazy when she went into confession and then asked for spiritual direction. One of those priests left the priesthood shortly afterwards--he married the sacristan who was 2x divorced and joined an off-shoot eastern rite church. One good Arch-priest told her to not live by the things she sees and feels, but by her wits. He was very compassionate and wise. Its been a long haul. I know she spent most of her life praying for all this to go away so she could be 'normal'. Its been a deep and heavy cross for her. I'm thrilled she has found a priest who understands her and sees what she sees. That is huge.

Charlie, do you see a world wide deception such as extra terrestrials or do you think that holographic images will come in to play in the deception? There is this huge under-current of fear regarding extra terrestrials. The media has played it out for years in movies (starting in the 50's and 60's) and at its height in the 70's and 80's. Now it is more about technology. That we could never have the intelligence to create what has been created without help/intervention etc.

I know that everytime there is an appariton of our Lady to a group of people like in the Ivory Coast, it was blamed on 'holographic technology' by unbelievers. It is a concern that so many people could be duped and that when our Lady does show herself, people would just brush it off as a trick.
I am familiar with 'Project Bluebeam'.

 

I would like to ask Charlie a question that's been in mind for a long time: Charlie, are you familiar with the sleeping prophet Edgar Cayce? I read serveral of the books written about him including The Story of Jesus. Many excerpts from his readings were included. What was fascinating was his account of human history, the angels, the fall, and Gods plan for salvation. However, it's so fantastical, and contrary to what the church teaches it's scares me to accept that there may be truth in it. I realize that we aren't privy to the entire story of human existence, not even close. Nor is the account in Genesis very detailed. I'm sure God's full plan is likely mind blowing, but Cayce's stuff stretches the imagination to the nth degree. And no one can dispute that his healing and readings were phenomenal. As someone who has seen the edge of Heaven, and has had conversations with Gabriel, Charlie, what can you say about Edgar Cayce?

 

I am very familiar with Gianna Talone Sullivan's messages and consider it an absolute tragedy that the Bishop intervened negatively to the pressures from the chamber of commerce of all things! (There is a guy who works there who has a city wide news blog and hounded Gianna and her family calling them a cult after the June 1, 2008 message came out).
When you have Fr. Rene' Laurentin and Dr. Korteney Bartholomew, Father John O'Connor and Bishop Roman Danylak and so many other brilliant marianologists on your side, you'd think it would have defied all odds. The investigation was a sham. Protestants on the board of investigators!
Anyway....Akita speaks loud and clear and is the same message.

I met Sondra Abrams in L.A. a few years ago when my prayer partner and I took Bishop Danylak to a conference out there. That is where I met Mark Mallett. She is the real deal! Totally humble. Totally dedicated. I actually tested her and she passed the test with flying colors! God is giving us GIANTS for this battle and there will be so many more even if they are as small as David (and Goliath)...

Don't know much about crop circles. I did watch as someone took thin metal disks and poked holes in them like you would for an old music box. He put them all together in the order they had appeared on earth in the fields and played them all at once and it was a binary code.

13.3 miles of lines were carved into a dry-lake bed in Oregon. What was discovered looked like a Crop Circle in the middle of the Desert...This Geoglyph was a perfect "Sri Yantra Mandala Formation". This ancient symbol was so precise it was flawless...Each line was 10 inches wide and 3 inches deep carved into extremely hard compact dirt that is very difficult to dig in...No cars where seen for miles, no tire tracks were seen for miles...No footprints were seen at the site or anywhere around it...No apparent signs of tools were used...And no one was seen in the area...I don't see any dirt from the 13.3 mile long 10 inch wide hole that was carved into the desert at a depth of 3 inches...There must have been a lot of dirt so it begs the question where is the dirt? The close up photo of the 4 lines looks clean with no extra dirt laying around outside the ditch that was made from each of these lines being dug out of the desert...The whole formation is about a quarter of a mile wide...This happen on Aug 10, 1990...

He speculated that such other cosmic "cultures" have their own kind of relation to Jesus beyond a savior since, being without a "fall", they were not in need of Him for that salvation, but would still be familiar with Him as the second Person of the Trinity.

I think, Mama S, that at all times in history, satan comes to deceive people in a form they will accept. Moderns don't accept fairies and goblins, but they do embrace UFOs and such. So I think most UFOs are a manifestation of the method satan uses today to deceive.

For Greggo, I read a little Edgar Cayce some years ago. While there was some insight in it, I found it to be occult and so have since dismissed it. People should understand that satan can do magic - satan knows the history of the world better than all the historians in history combined - and satan, the father of lies, WILL tell you a dozen truths to establish credibility so you may more easily accept the central lie he wants and needs you to believe. After you have discerned whether something is accurate you must also discern first whether it is good and then whether it leads you to a deeper understanding of God's will. Remember - the fruit of the tree that satan tempted Eve with was the fruit of giving her knowledge like a god.

 

I have to respectfully disagree with you Charlie in your claim that "satan can do miracles". Only God can do miracles, satan can deceive in manipulating science to make events look like miracles, but he cannot perform miracles.

 

Forgive me, Fatima. I started to chide you for misquoting me - then saw that I misspoke. I know very well that satan cannot do miracles, which are intrinsically good and come from God, alone. I meant to say he can do magic - which can look miraculous in our eyes. Thank you for catching and correcting that.

 

This technique that you say that Satan uses, about mixing truth with lies, is that something that was shown or told to you? Also, as an example, in your opinion, would that include Satan showing Cayce what was ailing many many people, and then showing him what to do to heal these people, all for the purpose of misleading others later about topics such as the history of man, reincarnation (under the law before Christ), soul development, possibilities of other worlds, etc?
I don't suppose you would be free to let us know, if these huge topics ever come up, when you are speaking with Gabriel.

 

Greggo, though I comment a little on speculative matters, I maintain consistently that most such things are a seduction - an effort to pull us into thinking by relying on our intellect and wisdom we can figure out the mysteries of God's mind. I constantly emphasize that the important thing is to acknowledge God, take the next right step and be a sign of hope to those around you.
