Do keep up, MF. The CDF report was fictitious. Try and be obedient to The Church.

Ultimately, she will decide. You are so determined to pre-empt what Holy Mother Church has to say. Chill. Sit back, Pray. Read the messages. Wait upon the Lord, he probably has it all worked out/

  2. Bella, are you referring to some of my posts? You give me many advices, thanks for them. What you mean by "Try and be obedient to the Church"? I'm just trying to do so and follow the instructions of the Church. So far the Church has declared that the phenomenon of Medjugorje Non constat de supernaturalitate. I am obedient to this and that's why there is no need to read the messages. Our salvation does not depend on reading any messages.

I tell you something. For some years I read a lot of those messages and believed that Virgin Mary is appearing in Medj and I visited the place several times. I had both good and bad experiences there. It's always good to pray and go to sacraments, pray Rosary every day and do penance. Nowadays it seems to me that Medjugorje is almost like a cult/sect in the Holy Catholic Church. I don't like that. It's not healthy I think.

In 2007 CDF recommended the bishops of Tuscany to make public this homily:

Let's wait the decision of Pope Francis.

Maria Faustina , you write total nonsense when it comes to Medjugorje. For someone who purports to exist on facts, your existence is very thin.

Offer us some basic evidence for any of your claims....

You must try and be obedient to Holy Mother Church. Try to resist telling us what we must believe. Ultimately, your personal opinion counts for less authority than our Pope... shocking, but true !

Just have patience and await the decision of our pope !

MF - You have no evidence that Medjugorje is a cult or a sect. This is your own personal opinion. Try to stop mixing your own views with facts. It causes confusion.

Bishop Ratko Peric already made his own decision regarding Medjugorje, as you know, this is why Pope Benedict removed the decision on Medjugorje from his hands: He already decided.

Holy Mother Church says she is yet to decide. Side with +Ratko all you like but please have some respect for those of us who want to remain Catholic and follow our Pope.

  5. And Bishop Peric does not believe in any apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary past or present. Not a balanced observer by any means.

  6. I do not know should I cry or laugh... this it getting far....

Zadar declaration 1991 said "Non constat de supernaturalitate". Meaning that so far it cannot be affirmed that there is any supernatural.
Bishop Peric has made as his own personal view "Constat de non supernaturalitate", which is the most negative judgement. What I have read this was not the reason why Vatican took over. As Vatican spokeman Fr. Lombardi stated, the bishops of Bosnia and Herzegovina have asked the CDF to take over investigations (http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/holy_see_confirms_formation_of_medjugorje_commission/)
What the article says about the former commission's results is wrong. They made a decision/conclusion.

It's not true that bishop Peric does no believe any apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He does believe those the Church has proved authentic. http://www.cbismo.com/index.php?menuID=98

When the Church authorities study any claimed apparitions according to the rules it surely investigate both sides, good and bad. So far the Church has not approved Medjugorje apparitions. This is a fact. If someone wants to read those "thin" facts, they are free to do so. Just google or read at least the link above (cbismo). Thank you.

  7. Well no, the most negative decision re: private revelations is condemnation. Also there were witnesses to a declaration made by the Bishop that he did not believe in any apparitions.

SWORN STATEMENT REGARDING AN OCTOBER 9, 1998 MEETING WITH BISHOP PERIC.

    http://marytv.tv/news-from-denis/45...g-an-october-9-1998-meeting-with-bishop-peric

The declaration neither approves nor condemns the apparitions, but does permit personal belief in the apparitions and personal pilgrimages to Medjugorje while the Church investigation continues.

The declaration makes clear that while at that particular point in the investigation “it cannot be affirmed that one is dealing with supernatural apparitions and revelations”, it continues to state that “the faithful journeying to Medjugorje, prompted both by motives of belief and other motives, require attention and pastoral care.”

The Medjugorje apparitions are presently neither officially approved by the Church as being of supernatural origin (constat de supernaturalitate); nor are they condemned by the Church as being false or invalid (constat de non supernaturalitate). They are, at this point, in a type of middle category of evaluation referred to asnon constat de supernaturalitate, which allows for personal belief in the authenticity of the apparitions along with personal (non-diocesan sponsored) pilgrimages to the apparition site, while the Church’s official investigation is ongoing.

......There is one more important truth concerning Bishop Ratko Peric: he does not believe in any apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary past or present. That includes Fatima and Lourdes and many others. He simply does not accept apparitions. Further compounding his strikes against the Medjugorje apparitions is his immense dislike of the Franciscans fueled by an ongoing competition in the region between secular priests and those of the Franciscan order.

and this is an interesting but not very well advertised aspect of that conference:

In May 1987, the Yugoslav Bishops' Conference set up the Medjugorje Inquiry Commission. By mid 1988 the Commission was reported to have finished their investigation with a positive outcome on the apparitions. Cardinal Franjo Kuharic, Archbishop of Zagreb and President of the Yugoslav Bishops' Conference, in an interview with Croatian public television on December 23rd 1990, said that the Yugoslav Bishops' Conference, including himself, "had a positive opinion of Medjugorje events." However, after a long war of words with Bishop Zanic, the Yugoslav Bishops' Conference finally issued the Zadar declaration in April 1991...

......"that only the ferocious opposition of Bishop Zanic, who refused to budge from his own verdict, had impeded a positive decision on the Medjugorje apparitions. The bishops do not wish to humiliate Monsignor, Zanic," Franic also stated, "And when it was brought to his attention that his opposition was unfounded, he began to cry and shout, and the bishops finally stopped arguing."

It was Pope Benedict who ordered the new Commission to be set up. The CDF was not the Commission. After the Commission finished its work the protocol of the day is that its work is to be examined by the CDF....which has had the report now for months and keeps delaying its examination which is only holding up things and contradicting statements the Pope has made re: dates that the CDF would make their examination....esp. delaying getting that decision to the Pope who will then be able to make a decision of some sort. Meanwhile Muller of the CDF keeps interfering with the formerly allowed invites of the visionaries to various places in other countries which only sets up the current climate of confusion about such negative letters sent forth before he even has given proper respect to the work of the official Commission's work. This looks like some purposeful attempt to generate public discussion about negative judgements (which haven't been made) and then blame such division on the devotion itself. I've seen those letters from Muller being quoted over and over in the usual vehemently opposed to Medjugorje blogs with such negative discussion, generating more feelings of division, which goal of such letters seems to have accomplished.
