I don't know actually because we don't know until in that moment. It is like asking if a parent would die for their child. I think many would and I like to think and believe that the love of the Lord would allow them to do the same but it isn't many. Unfortunately it is never many when it comes to the Lord thus why He loves so deeply the saints and people that would.

I can't even imagine sitting separately from the rest of the Church.

You probably heard in some places in Europe they weren't allowed to enter the Church unless they were vaccinated. Or at least that's what a Croatian guy told me.

My cousin married a guy from Guam, I'm sure she said it was the same there. It's funny, my cousin told me not to believe all the 'fake news' about the vax being tested on aborted fetal cell lines. Well, there's nothing fake about it lol! :cautious:

Same happened for me at my work. It was just myself and a pregnant coworker that refused. We had to stay in our office and not join any of our colleagues for meetings in conference rooms. If we did get up to use the restroom or coming and going from work, we were the only ones who had to be masked. It bothered me a little but it was crazy that just two of us out of 100 did not succumb to all the pressure. I often wonder, will it be like that for those who refuse the mark or refuse to denounce the Lord when the church comes under persecution. Will the numbers be far fewer than we can even imagine. I read once that on a certain day and I can't even remember the saints who said that, that two of them died on the same day. God revealed to them that on that day 30,000+ people died as well. Those two went straight to heaven and two more to purgatory. All the rest went to hell. If this is true, and I keep digging to find out if it indeed was, WOW! Something to really ponder. In another book I read once about French mystic Gabrielle Bosis who was receiving locutions from God. On one occasion, she was sitting in a busy train station just conversing with God. He was so grateful to her for that. He told her that in the entire train station at that time, she was the only one even thinking of Him and that brought him so much joy. I think all the time of the tabernacles around the world where our Lord is just sitting alone and waiting for anyone to come along and just spend some time with Him. God must feel so lonely and heart broken on so many days that so many just ignore that He even exists. Even the faithful. How many go about their day and don't even think of Him other than going through their daily ritual of prayer. Prayer is wonderful but do you ever just sit back in your day and pause and talk to our Lord? It is something I am trying so hard in my own life to remember. We are all so busy but invite Him into those busy moments.

My God, my Love and my Friend, help me everyday to abandon myself and place you at the front of everything that I do!!

    I love your post.

Yesterday I found myself in conversation with a colleague at work and at the same time contemplating the crucifixion of our Lord at the same time. It really hit me as I was so conscious of our Lord and so conscious of the person I was talking to. It was one of those wow moments.

I find the rosary has become a living prayer like an engine ticking over within. I have been at football matches with 60000 spectators and still contemplate the mysteries of the rosary during the match.

In bed I contemplate Jesus in our local church a couple of hundred yards away in the tabernacle and keep him company. In that way I visit the Blessed sacrament often.

All is grace though, even the desire to pray.

This is so powerful. And Andy's witness is so powerful as well. So much to think about and pray about.

Maybe God does not want us to know the future in any great detail_because if we did know it would take away our trust in Divine Providence. We can get a good general view of what is coming, but I don;t think God wants it pinned down as to precise dates and hours like a News Channel. So Jesus mentioned at one point that even the angels in heaven do not know.

When I mentioned Bishop Sheen recently on another topic, this reminded me of him. Namely, he passed away in 1979 from a heart attack, so at that moment he headed towards the little room where he adorated every day in front of the Blessed Sacrament. He headed towards Jesus and Jesus welcomed him in a way he did not expect :)
By the way, there is another interesting incident with him. If I remember correctly, not a single day in his priestly life did he miss an hour of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. Only once did he fall asleep, and that for a full hour. Then he said that he had now used the joker card that the apostles used in the Garden of Gethsemane when they could not stay awake for an hour :D.

If this is true, then we may have quite awhile to get to the time of Antichrist.

These times remind me the mysteries of the rosary that bring us back to the days when people waited for the coming of their salvation. Of Advent. Of watching for the Star.

I’m at work and haven’t been able to watch the full video yet. I wonder whether two antipopes in a row — with the second likely reigning for many years — wouldn’t ruin apostolic succession.
As for the third pope being the holy pope, I think the confirmation of that might come from an election by acclamation due to a prophetic sign. At least that seemed like a plausible interpretation of one of Padraig’s recent dreams.

I think that is right and the one who is coming , The Angelic Shepherd will be from right out of the Ball park! Someone no one expected. Someone not on the map.

This is the way God worked in Scripture too, our God of surprises.

One of the requirements for a pope to have a legitimate pontificate is his acceptance ratified by the global episcopate. Francis’s pontificate has opened a can of worms in people’s minds regarding the proper procedure for choosing a pope. An election by acclamation would close that can.
