    Thanks David.
I did give Kevins article a good skim in fact.
Are you possibly drawing to long a bow with the words of Sr Lucia?
When I refer to PF as Holy Father do you think I actually mean he is holy?
Or do I think this is Holy... The Holy Mass..

I understand some of the translation is not reliable.

Can you post the information regarding 1960?

No, it does not but it certainly gets the ball rolling. How up to snuff are you on the history of Communism from 1960 onward?

Someone questioned the translation. Just in case you have doubts on the English, here is the Portuguese (sans accent marks):

Thank you Kevin, I recently purchased the English edition, but I am still in the first few pages. Very informative article on the secret of Fatima.

Fascinating about her explanation of 1960's. As one looks back, that is when arguably, one of the most heinous communist administration gained power in the tiny Caribbean island of Cuba. Fidel Castro, a known member of the Cuban communist party, single handedly turned the once Catholic Cuba, dedicated to Our Lady of Charity, and turned into a socialist -communist conclave; almost started a war with the U.S., and since, he and his brother, Raul, have backed every communist attempt in Latin-America. Not to mention the fact that also in the 1960's, Nikita Khrushchev, killer of many Catholics in the Ukraine, was in power of the USSR. The cancer of communism spread not just through tyrants like Castro and his ilk, but through cleverly disguised "cultural" programs devised to spread the errors of communism. T he results of their efforts are now seen in academia today, here and abroad.

Everything I know about about Communism other than news and world events is from being a Garabandalist for over 40 yrs. "All will happen when Communism comes again-" Blessed Virgin Mary.

I think that Kevin's article about the claims associated with Fr Dollinger lead to an intriguing specualtion that the missing text of the third secret could indeed include a specific warning about an upcoming Council and the dangers that it could lead to. This would 'explain' the possible comments from Fr Dollinger regarding a 'bad council and Mass'.

More importantly, it would also explain the efforts made by the Vatican to withold any publishing of the extra text. Because it is clear that such a warning from Our Lady was not taken seriously enough to publish it in 1960. Had the Vatican done so, maybe many of the abuses which resulted from the Council could have been avoided.

The Council was a good and important one, as Our Lady told Conchita in Garabandal, and Sr Lucy's letter about the Council itself are fairly conclusive for me that she viewed it positively. But no one can deny the many abuses that emerged after it.

  8. Testimony of Fr Rodrigo Maria, founder of "Arca de Maria" (The Arch of Mary), from Anápolis, Brazil:

    (poor translation)

I studied in the Immaculate Heart of Mary major seminary between the years 1994 and 1999. Having been ordained a priest on December 8, 2000 by the laying on of the hands of the great Bishop of Anapolis-GO, Dom Manoel Pestana Filho.

Among the biggest thanks I've had in my life are the grace of having been pastored by a holy bishop (Dom Manoel Pestana) and have had a holy rector, the Reverend Father. Dr. Ingo Dollinger. I had the grace to know well Fr. Dollinger, deeply spiritual man that has a great love for the Church, a man that equated admirably knowledge and simplicity, the severity of responsibility and joy.

Every day when I went to the beautiful seminary chapel to do my meditations, Fr. Dollinger was already there, from 04:00 in the morning. He was a spiritual son of St. Pio of Pietrelcina. He had the privilege of receiving the very Saint Pio the keys of his cell in order to be able to have direct access to the great saint. Father Dollinger personally met many of the great mystics souls of his time and was one of those mystcis that received mentions of the contents of the third part of the secret of Fatima that had not been revealed.

I had the grace to enjoy the esteem and confidence of the Fr. Dollinger who became a great friend and whom I had in mind a great spiritual father and an exceptional trainer.

Fr. Dollinger, rector of the Major Seminary, also worked with Cardinal Ratzinger in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. He was secretary of the dialogue Commission with Freemasonry, which is why he had a very great knowledge of that institution, including revealing things that could never know by the books.

The living and the knowledge that Fr. Dollinger had with the Cardinal Ratizinger were great. They had a very similar reading about the reasons for the current Church crisis.

At one point, in one of the many conversations we had, when we talked about the crisis in the Church, and all the apostasy, he confided me what I step to report:

Knowing many mystical souls of his time, one of them told him about the contents of the third part of the secret, which seemed to explain the current situation of the Church and the silence and prevarication of the ecclesiastical authorities about the issue. He told me that, according to this mystical soul, the content of the third part of the secret would be essentially these words: "There will be a council through which apostasy will enter the Church... tell the Pope that do not make the Council". When Fr. Dollinger asked Cardinal Ratzinger if it was the content of the secrect Cardinal had silenced (Fr. Dollinger said that Cardinal was bound by oath not to speak out about the issue) ... after that Fr. Dollinger asked the Cardinal why they did not disclose the content of the third part of the secret and his Eminence answer was, "Because it's too late"

I believe it is important to add that Fr. Dollinger made it clear that Our Lady did not say that the Council was not from God. According to his understanding, the council could be instrumentalized to establish apostasy as in fact happened.

Fr. Dollinger made me keep quiet on the subject of the third part of the secret of Fatima. And I did for many years (almost 10 years), until a trip with Dom Manoel Pestana to Italy to participate in the annual retreat of the Marian Movement of Priests, when at the lunch at the table with some priests, Dom Manoel told the same history, so I decide I could talk about it.

The Carmelite biography clearly and unequivocally states that Our Lady commanded Sr. Lucia not to write down what is given to her to understand of its significado. Unless Sister was given permission later to write down this information, to believe in a second text is questionable.

  10. Later or earlier. She wrote about the secret in other previous moments and later too. The Carmelite book describes a specific fact that happened in a specific place and date.

Any chance of a quote? I've just ordered the book but it will take some time to reach me from America!

what we do know however, is that Ratzinger explained that the secret related to the novissimis (that was in 1984), and in 2000, in letter to Bishop Pavel Hnilica, he said that the persecution seen in the vision related to those until the end of the world. What we can deduce from these facts is that whether or not a second document exists, somehow Ratzinger knew much more about the explanation than was explained in the June 26 2000 press conference. And also, when you look in the document he wrote with Cardinal Bertone in 2000, he was very evasive about the prophecy of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart. The explanation was not about some future triumph (which he did explain in 2010), but a theological point on a heart open to the contemplation of God. So the question is: How did he know these very specific details linking the secret to the end times?

On the face of it, I would agree but PofP mentions a quote AFTER that date.

  14. I remember reading some time ago a Brazilian article that the author showed Sister Lucia previously wrote another version of the secret that had the meaning (significado). I do not remember if it was to a priest or to the first bishop...then she wrote again to Vatican authorities. I could not find it until now.

  15. It is a question to Our Lady.

But I can think one thousand of reasons for that.

If Lucia already wrote the significado and Our Lady knows that they will hide it again and knowing that the secret will be hidden for many years until be revealed, Our Lady just think it was unnecessary to write again.

Sorry, not buying it. The argument is one of convenience, not based upon established facts.

By all means, then! Let's produce the evidence and discuss it.

  18. Your question do not need a factual argument. Read your question again, sir. It requires just a hypothesis, as only Our Lady could answer your question.

You want a supposition and I give you. You are free to cry, but my hypothesis is valid, because it is possible.

I will not waste time with that because it is clear and evident that there is something more about third secret. It is against the intelligence thinking there is nothing more.

So we have another Fr Dollinger version.
This one also has Cardinal Ratzinger discussing Fatima...Fr. Dollinger asked the Cardinal why they did not disclose the content of the third part of the secret and his Eminence answer was, "Because it's too late''

Which does not add up with what was attributed to Pope Emeritus recently...
In this regard, Pope emeritus Benedict XVI declares
“never to have spoken with Professor Dollinger about Fatima”, clearly affirming that the remarks attributed to Professor Dollinger on the matter “are pure inventions, absolutely untrue”, and he confirms decisively that “the publication of the Third Secret of Fatima is complete”.

What does Fr Dollinger think of the rebuttal from Benedict?
I get the feeling he does not think he is dealing with his old friend.
“If Rome has denied it, then we have to be silent and not to defend ourselves.”

Frere Michel also heard from Sr Lucia similar...In his book, Frère Michel reports that, when questioned about the Secret, Sister Lucy said: "It’s in the Gospel and in the Apocalypse, read them!" He notes that she then particularly indicated Chapters VIII through XIII of the Apocalypse (Chapter XIII specifically concerns the rise of the Antichrist). In his study of the Third Secret, Frère Michel builds a powerful and compelling case that the Third Secret is a grave warning of apostasy within the Catholic Faith and a serious indictment of those in the Church hierarchy who have promoted dissent and outright heresy.
