Both Boris and Donald are better than Clinton or Obama but that's not much of a recommendation. There's a dearth of quality in today's politicians. Brexit is not really something to gloat about because it could be the start of a bumpy couple of years, but the English voters are to be admired for their courage in defying all the veiled and sometimes not so veiled threats rained upon them by the globalist elite. They really overplayed their hand attempting to browbeat people who were raised to have pride in their country's role in saving Europe from fascism - people for whom nationalism isn't a dirty word. Tonight I watched as CNN's dreadful Christianne Amanpour smirked about young Brits blaming their oldies for depriving them of the good life that the EU had afforded the oldies. Not surprising considering who was doing the reporting, she failed to mention that the same oldies were the only voters who could make an informed decision based on actual experience of life before and during EU membership.
As soon as I woke up and read the news, this passage has been on my heart all day. I can't help but wonder if this is the fatal wound that is healed by the UK later being forced back in to the EU. I've also been contemplating the significance of this vote occurring on the feast of John the Baptist. Is this a "forerunner" of things to come?

Already the media is full of statements that the Leave voters didn't know what they were doing and that now they wish they'd voted differently. They will continue to scare them silly then make them vote again. Also saw a lot of remarks along the lines of, 'This vote shows how small-minded and hateful half the people are. I for one will continue to promote love and tolerance.' Except towards people with a different opinion?

I don't know... if the petition will be accepted, then there could be another referendum with the victory of "bremain". Then someone else could propose another petition asking for another referendum, then "brexit" could win again. And so on, until the end of time. So, I'm not sure about how a petition like that could result successful.
Yes, the Polish in general seemt o be very pro EU and pro Nato for that reason. But the EU itself now is very secularist. Pope Benedict commented on this several times. I think Pope John Paul 2 would be against them now. Very anti God.

Yes. To be honest I don't think it matters too much one way or the other. The EU and the USA and all other corrupt, decadent powers are about to be removed like sandcastles when the tide comes in.
