'The Catechism spells out that lethal force can be justified if one is left with no other choice. Killing should be a last resort, however, after everything else has been tried. Here’s what the Catechism, citing St. Thomas Aquinas says (2264):


Someone who defends his life is not guilty of murder even if he is forced to deal his aggressor a lethal blow: If a man in self-defense uses more than necessary violence, it will be unlawful: whereas if he repels force with moderation, his defense will be lawful. . . . Nor is it necessary for salvation that a man omit the act of moderate self-defense to avoid killing the other man, since one is bound to take more care of one’s own life than of another’s.'

 

Its just so unnatural to ramp up such rage. Its literally insane. The federal government says "its not our job" and sends it back to state control. And yet they are acting as if its their lives being threatened instead of unborn lives. What else can this be but diabolic.

Lots of rumors that SCOTUS decision will come out tomorrow.

Timing is really interesting - maybe prophetic … today is the Feast of St. John the Baptist and tomorrow is the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Is God saying something to us with this? A voice in the wilderness still saying “Repent”. And the very heart of Jesus- God that was pierced so his blood pouring out His Mercy and Love.

If the decision does come tomorrow, no doubt it will be greeted in many places with violence and hate. But it’s expected as this was the same treatment Our Lord had to go through when he walked on the Earth.
