Here in TX one of our churches had its entire Tabernacle stolen in the middle of the night. The radicals are calling for the burning of the Eucharist. We need more prayer and fasting!

You might wonder; someone steals a Tabernacle full of hosts, why doesn't God strike Him dead on the spot?

But in her book, ' The Dialogue', St Catherine of Siena posed God a similar question about very evil people getting away with very evil things.

God told Saint Catherine that sometimes he allowed people to get away with evil things so that He could at the end of their lives send them to the very deepest part of hell. In other words He is so angry with them He allows them to dig a deeper and deeper pit for themselves.

    Poor people.

It is Scriptural, in Proverbs maybe, “He that diggeth a pit shall fall into it”

    Yes.

But it is true that there but for the grace of God go I.

Poor young people. If you are brought up with no moral training whatsoever, never mind religious or spiritual training what chance do you have?

I notice on these woke websites that are calling for the Eucharist to be burnt. Now where on Earth (or hell) did they get that idea from?

The Devil is no longer hiding , he is right out there in the open for all to see.

May God have Mercy on a lot of these poor young people. They have just no idea at all of what they are involved in. May God, seeing their ignorance, take mercy on their poor souls.

'Father forgive them , they know no what they do'.

However for the older people who were brought up in the Catholic Faith and are in leadership rolls...and lead the young to the Gates of Hell...

    FP,

Were you able to retrieve the Sacred Host? I witnessed a similar event back in the 1980s, at a wedding no less. An unknown woman came up the aisle and received in the hand; I and another friend, John, witnessed her slipping it into a pocket and followed her outside. She denied it, claimed it was none of our business. I wanted to press the issue, but what were John and I to do, frisk her?

    Lord have Mercy!

    Sigh.

This is why Communion on the hand is just so very, very wrong. It should never, ever have been allowed.

It would be great at this stage if Catholic Bishops encouraged lay people to form Knightly Fraternities to defend the Church, but I am not holding my breath.

I would love to see the Church for instance training young Catholics in Nigeria and right across Africa and the entire world how to arm and train themselves against Islamic Militants. and these Woke/ Marxist head cases. Like the wonderful Templar Knights.

Catholics are not Pacifists. But I am afraid so many of our leadership are homosexuals and effeminate that we might just as well be.

I will tell you one thing. I would rather pick up my all friend the ever reliable Russian Kalisnikov 47 of the Armalite M 16 and blast away at at the Islamists in Nigeria who are mass slaughtering my Catholic sisters and brothers than have to face watching Fr James Martin and Pope Francis plot another step on their joint ascent to the Rainbow Throne.

    Even at my age.

I am confident I could train my reliable two old hounds to fire a heavy machine gun post to good effect, bless them both. They may never have been Baptised but I am sure they are better Catholics than the two afore mentioned.

We have all added our own crimes to the chalice of evil. The problem with degeneracy is that each generation gets further and further away from the source of grace, of truth, beauty ,and all that is good. We are to far gone for a cultural revival from the ground up. It all must come crumbling down. It is a strange kind of sadness but I hope not to suffer the fate of Lot's wife.

It’s sad that this needs to be done instead of the silent adoration in our hearts after receiving Jesus:(

I have always loved this picture and have it hanging in my home. I was told that the painter (forget his name) painted this as God the Father’s view of the world. He can only view us through the sacrifice of His Son. I liked that thought :)

I have this hanging over my bead where I can see it first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

The artist was Salvadore Dali and it is based on a Vision of St John of the Cross. As Jesus lay dying on the Cross He looks down from there on the entire World but particularly on His times at the Sea of Galilee, with the Fishermen (Apostles).:)

Dali was a kind of Quixotic Catholic , he reminds of Andy Warhol in this..another quixotic Catholic...by quixotic I mean you never know quite what to make of them.

Anyway another great artwork by Dali. The Last Supper.
