I am reminded of Our Lady of Good Success prophecy for our times, 'good priests will have much to suffer and in the end will have neither a father or prelate to guide them'.
That is one of the quotes that stands out in my memory. We are certainly looking at that situation now. Nevertheless I am reluctant to publicly speak about this as good people I know follow along trusting. It's like what happened with covid. They still go for boosters and cannot countenance that the medical profession or the state could ever deceive them.
My only response is try and be a better Catholic and pray more than before.I am not putting myself forward on any parish teams for more laity involvement. I'm praying and hibernating. I do discuss within my family circle and friends who are aware but that's it.
I don't feel called to do anything else.

I am on this wavelength, also, maryrose. I thank you for reminding us about the words of Our Lady of Good Success. I have been thinking about St John Bosco. He saw the Barque of Peter sailing between 2 columns. One was the Blessed Mother and the other was the Holy Eucharist.
I think he was given this in a dream. It’s becoming clearer to me.

Sorry, no offense to you personally, and I know you mean well, but this is just naive and juvenile credulity. It is not the adult full throated Faith that we need right now in the face of such unmitigated evil.

Fr. Malachi Martin warned in the 1990s in Windswept House about forces that were trying to get St. John Paul II to resign. So the "St. Gallen Mafia" already existed at the 2005 conclave, and apparently Jorge Bergoglio was their candidate even then. I remember the frustrated outcry of the German mainstream media when Cardinal Ratzinger was elected.

This explains why Pope Benedict said right from the start that we should pray for him so he does not have to flee from the wolves. But in the end that is exactly what he did.

I am convinced the Holy Spirit has led you to this conclusion. It is not a pleasant one, but it is good to be in the truth, as much as we laymen can be, with the limited information and knowledge we have. I know that you have not made it easy on yourself to arrive at this point of view, instead you have been loyal to the extent possible. But I guess the maximum extent of loyalty to "Pope Francis" has been exhausted.

May Our Good Lord keep us and guide us through these dark days!

Yes, we have to be obedient and faithful to the Pope. I have always been obedient and faithful to Pope Benedict. I even joined the Traditional Latin Mass community partially because of Summorum Pontificum.

Regarding "Pope Francis", the question is whether or not he is the Pope. In case he was not the Pope, we may not owe obedience to him.

I am editing this post as I would like to add something. We had a discussion about Bishop Strickland when catching up with beloved friends from our parish over lunch today. In the discussion, the following thought came up:

The adversary always wants to achieve evil, but ends up achieving good. This is probably how Almighty God makes everything work out well in the end. Even Goethe realised this, and let Mephistopheles (the evil one) say in Faust that he is the sprit who always wants to do evil but ends up doing good.

For example, the results of the vaccination campaign ended up waking many people up who had been very trusting and perhaps naïve. Now, "Pope Francis" may have well overstepped the mark by firing a good and holy Bishop, which may end up waking up many trusting Catholics to what is actually going on in the Vatican.

    God bless!

I hear you. Actually, I did the same during the "vaccination"-campaign - I mainly remained silent. Now that we have excess mortality, I regret that. This has taught me to be less timid and speak out more often with regard to wrongdoing.

We need to pray for another St Joan of Arc.

Yes, if I recall correctly, in the same vision, St. Don Bosco also saw the Holy Father getting shot down. Then, a new Pope was quickly elected, which discouraged the enemies and encouraged the the small boats (perhaps the faithful and the intimated clergy?) who had been staying away from the mother ship (the Holy Catholic Church).

Eleven months have passed since the passing of Pope Benedict. Will a new Pope be quickly elected? I guess a thousand years are like a day in the Lord's eyes.

My apologies for the many posts I wrote tonight. Sorry for having bothered the beloved forum members. Next time, I will try a multi-response. :)

This man is on his way to sainthood. IMHO. Faith humility charity....right in front of us. What a gift he is.

But these are very difficult times. I very much understand how confused and troubled people are. But one thing I learnt from times of great danger in the past , it is best to get focused as quickly as possible if you want to have any chance of getting out from under.
