I'm so sorry for you all going through this. As Kathy says, the enemy's hate will soon hit many more of us. I'll offer prayers for you all and the souls of the decease this afternoon at adoration and tonight too. I think you're right about the spilling of their blood, they are martyrs of our times, God Bless them all. May God keep us all safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

This threat has come out every year since 9/11. I think it's been listed on Snoops as being BS. And, just a heads-up, just because someone is in the military doesn't give them any more credible information than anyone else.

This kind of evidence alone is worth questioning everything we are told by government agencies through the controled media. I don't want to drag this thread through the mud but this alone should make many wonder, if even for a second, that maybe many of these events are a fear propadanda canpaign. The concept of a governement that would go this far is unfathomable to some. What it can mean on a larger scale is bothersome to say the least. Count me among the conspiracy fools if you will. Some evidence is just simply too overwhelming to ignore and is NEVER showing up on TV news ever.

I cant imagine this level of conspiracy theory is healthy for the psyche. If this is honestly where you believe we are at then just ignore everything the government and newspapers report (which pretty much means all of society) and focus on private prayer. Many of these sites which report conspiracy theory make it sound good, but it can be easily refuted. I have watched the 9-11 documentaries and such and it sounds great on the surface but when competent professionals refute it you can see all of the holes in their arguments. Same thing with the "moon landing hoax", etc. I am not meaning this to be disrespectful at all, as I used to pay a lot of attention to these things as well. I would suggest not getting too wrapped up in these things. It doesn't seem healthy, at least not for some.

Thanks for the responce Praetorian. I'm not sure wat "this level" means but the pictures tell a story worth considering. I am very mentally healthy and can accept even the worst case scenario being truth due to my faith. The reality is many, many things can't be refuted. Building 7, 47 story that free fell do to a few office fires is impossible unless every virtical steel column fails at once. Ask any engineer. Many things are so glarring and obvious that questioning them gets a label conspiracy nut and asking real, serious questions gets tied into into moon landings. This is called poison the well. The truth can be held under a microscope correct?
Anyway I am way past being bothered or surprised but maybe it's a mistake to post anything like this. Maybe I should delete this, not for my sake I am confidence in my posts but to prevent others from starting down a path they may be healthier avoiding? I don't want to be responsible for that. Ignorance is bliss, and seriously this isn't an insist. Some things people simply can't handle.

MMM are you ok? seriously? That is why they went on the run and were willing to shoot and kill to escape, because they were innocent. Your level of conspiracy theories is not healthy. Sorry, but it has to be said. That seems to be almost exclusively what you post about and other MoG readers have to realize this is not a unique circumstance post by you

This seems to be as good a thread to post this as any. Over on the End Time Speculation thread on Catholic Answers Forum I noted a bunch of questions I wanted to ask Muslim apologists, the next time one comes on the radio and accepts phone-in questions. I'm posting them here just in case someone here gets the opportunity to ask them publicly. Here is my statement, edited for clarity:

Four questions that I would like an answer to and which I would LOVE to ask on one of those call-in shows (where CAIR or some other Islamic apologist is on the air talking about how horrified they are at the latest act of violence by a follower of Islam and how that is not true Islam) is this: Christianity has many, many examples of people who practice and have practiced non-violence: St. Francis of Assisi comes to mind, Dietrich Bonhoeffer is another, and the most recent internationally recognized example is Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Two of these people died as a result of their promotion of peace and non-violence. Gandhi was raised Hindu and is used as an example worldwide of the power of non-violence, and in fact died as a result of that belief.

    1. If Islam is in fact "a religion of peace", where are the Islamic examples of non-violent action?
    2. Who are the Muslims who have died rather than follow or promote violence?
    3. If there are such Muslims, why have they apparently been rejected by the majority of Muslims (since we never hear about them)?
    4. And ultimately, given the answers to the previous questions, is the principle of "non-violent action" in opposition to the teachings of Islam?

Excessive belief in conspiracy theory runs the risk of falling into the same luciferian trap of our gnostic enemies-that there is no absolute truth and that "salvation" is only available to those who are initiated.

At the time of this bombing, at least on FOX it was reported Russia warned the FBI about the brothers many months before, but the FBI dismissed Russias' info. I believe one or both of the brothers traveled to Chechyn(sp) area a year before and came up on the radar while there.

Just throwin it out there fair and balanced

Ok......but I know him and I know he does have access to that info.

Don't believe everything on snopes. They are not right about everything.

I live close to the MOA, and have only heard of one other threat.....last February when it was mentioned in a video by al-Shabab.

Y'know, Sparrow, your two most recent posts on this thread brought home to me how we can get the wrong impression from what we read and see portrayed on TV.

I had the impression that California and New York were cess pits of the worst of the US. Then the reports started coming out about the lives of the victims. I was surprised that people who worked for the Health Department in California actually believed in God. That didn't gel with the California I imagined. Now, reading your posts, I surely realise how wrong I was.
All acts of needless violence are Satanic. Maybe this attack was an attempt to sow hatred in your hearts. Don't let it. What sets Christianity apart is that, like Jesus, we must love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. The killers believed in vengeance, whether or not their grievances were justified. There is no place for vengeance or hatred in Christianity.

San Bernardino was prayed for at our Mass today. I have no doubt that you are being included in the prayers at Masses throughout the world. Prayer and living the Gospel message will see you through this.

Thank you DOLOURS!! I feel this strong sense in my heart that it's true as well.
In the last year and half I have really had my eyes open to see better just how many good hearted people there are ......reguardless of faith etc. I learned a lot about this from Charlie Johnston posts. He set me straight. In the storm ......we will see this In a more profound way .....I'm sure of it. God is a refining fire and it will be a purgation to get us to holiness. It has begun. Sadness will be very evident but it will be that sadness and suffering that will divide the sheep from the goats. We just have to remember to be sheep and not stubborn goats. To be the sheep is to follow our Shepherd no matter where he takes us. Though we may walk through the valley of the shadow death.....we will fear no evil. For his rod and his staff shall comfort us.

I used to wrok in a very small sleepy train sation in London called, 'Leytonstone', taking voer when ever their supervisors were off. I loved working there because it reminded me of the country, not the big city. Just a few stops up the line indeed you were right out there in the country, in the woods. It was so quiet indeed I used to bring the brothers Rottweiller, 'Rebel' to keep me company. :)

Last night an Islamic gentleman screaming , 'Syria' attacked travellers on the station wounding several with a machete..

This shocked me and brought things home.

FBI raids home of San Bernardino shooter's friend over gun purchases

    Los Angeles Times
FBI agents on Saturday raided this Riverside home belonging to a friend of San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwad Farook. (AP Photo/Chris Carlson) SAN BERNARDINO, Calif._FBI agents on Saturday raided a Riverside home belonging to a friend of San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwan Farook as they try to determine whether the man purchased two of the semiautomatic rifles used in the massacre, according to a law enforcement source...

He and other neighbors have said Enrique Marquez, Jr., a young man who lived at the home, and Farook appeared to be good friends. The source said Marquez is the person the FBI is seeking to interview...

On Thursday, Gustavo Ramirez, who said he was Marquez's stepdad told a Los Angeles Times reporter that he and his wife hadn't heard from Marquez since Wednesday afternoon and were concerned. Ramirez said it was unlike Marquez not to come home...

I don't think he used a machete. It looked more like a small knife. I have a feeling that this guy was just a nutter who decided to go on the rampage with a kitchen knife. Expect copycats now, and not just from Islamic extremists. Every nutter with a grudge or a cause will be inspired by this. I'm not convinced that showing the video footage of these isolated incidents serves the public interest.

My son's Norbertine Abby is about an hour from the San Bernardino site of the recent terrorist attack. One of his friends at the Abby, a novice, grew up in the neighborhood of the attack. This is hitting home for many.

Charlie & others have claimed that about this time last year The Lord allowed the demons to be loosed upon Earth ... my daily perusal of the "News" confirms that unhappy observation :(

    CrewDog,
I realise that you're big into prepping. Fine if that makes you feel more secure. I'm afraid that I don't buy into messages from Heaven telling us to store food and acquire weapons. Sorry, but I can't shake off the feeling that the message goes against everything I believe as a Catholic. I believe in prayer and trust in God.

While I don't live up to the message of giving one coat to the poor if I have two coats, I can't reconcile spending a lot of money hoarding while there are people in the world who don't even have access to clean water. If that means I die a violent death because I'm a believer, then I'll be in good company. While I can tell that you wouldn't use the weapons indiscriminately, I would worry about some who wouldn't. If it turns out that you are right and I am wrong, maybe you'll send up an extra prayer for those of us who didn't take your advice.

Its not my place but crewdog postings are not of fear. Seems like common sense to me. We should all be prepared...especially in big cities. A minor catastrophe can shut down a city 7 to 10 days. Nothing wrong in having some food and water available. I wont have a gun but i might train my family. If its a major catastrophy...non of this might help, but for small event we should be prepared.

Everything in moderation...should we be waiting for it to happen; NO

But we should all have some types of emergency plans...contacts outside state, food, water, medical kit (all planned in advance).

It is all about prayer...but God never said don't be prepared.

    :)
