    Hi Jane,

I finished your book last week when I was on my little vacation.
I also sent you a personal mail through this website, but maybe
    it didn't go through.
I feel the Lord always puts books in my path for a reason, and yours
    was very timely.
I have had many mystical experiences that sometimes I am afraid to
share. I do have a wonderful Priest (my Pastor) who is my spiritual
    director.
Your book has showed me, that I need to be more open in sharing these
experiences, and not worry about being labeled "crazy".
Thank You Jane and Father Paul for your book!
    God Bless You both, Meg

I am enjoying reading your book Jane. I read a page or two everyday after mass in front of the Blessed Sacrament as Spiritual Reading.

I was touched that at first you had a little difficulty coming to terms with some of the mystical graces God has given you. I suspect everyone who meets up with such phenomena finds themselves scratching their heads a little, I know I did and sometimes still do. :D

One thing I have noticed in reading about such things is how often God sends someone along to help us to come to terms with such gifts/graces. I notice in your case it was your husband who was open to such things ,whcih I found touching. Its kinda the way things should be.

I must say, apart from this forum I am very reluctant to share such matters for many reasons , not least amongst which is that it tends to spook folks and make them look at you as though you had two heads.

Sometimes though its hard not to let things slip. For instance my boss at work was complaining about the behaviour of a young man in work and I without thinking siad, 'Don't be too hard on the poor guy God hasn't given him too long a time to spend on this Earth' . THere was aminute or tow of silence during which they both stared at me and I began to sweat at what I had let out. However they both laughed and shook their heads. :D

I would say its better to have these gifts than not to have them, though it would be far better not to have them than to have them and misuse them as witches and new agers often do.

on the subject of folks coming back from the dead, I suspect it is much, much , much more common thaan most folks folks realise. I think a read a survey some time back that suggested that some 60% of folks in the USA have had experience of some sort of contact wtih dead relatives in the immediate grieving period. As a matter of fact I would nearly expect folks to have some contact to comfort them (if they need comforting) almost as a matter of course. In the hospice were I helped out spooky goings on were nearly an everyday occurence. But people do not like to share about such stuff in case they are regarded as nuts. Also such occurences can be challenging. If for instance you do not pray or have any real belief in an after life and are materialistic the very last thing you want to encounter is the supernatural or mystical.

Whcih is one reason why I often keep a weather eye on young, very young children in Church, they have the purity and openess to see what we cannot, especially when they are in Church. They are much, much closer to heaven and the angels than we cynical , sinful adults.
