Bishops show Pope Francis' statement on Holy Communion contains 'HERESY'

Yes, we will need an outpouring of God's grace to see us through trials and tribulations. If it's hard for us, I shudder to think what it will be like for the Pope, Bishops and priests. I need to step up my prayers for them. There must be something lacking in my prayers because I never get any words or insights. Perhaps pride and self righteousness are the barrier. God help us all.

 

Many great saints never had insights or words and many great saints who did warned against them.(St Teresa and St John of the Cross) Dont be hard on yourself. A good sound prayer life has little to do with special "insights". In fact I think too often these special insights can be a temptation.
