This is an attempt at explaining freemasonry. It is a secret society of men (traditionally). It is used mainly to get better prospects in life over other people. It promises contacts through networking, meetings, social events. It is made up of what is called 33 degrees. New beginners start at one of course, and they used to threaten with death anyone who ever betrayed them. I would liken it to the Mafia. Except, at the 33rd degree you are getting into the satanic level where red Masses are celebrated, instead of black Masses the Satanists boast of. Traditionally it was Protestant vicars and bishops who used to perform the satanic rituals in the higher levels; but it is said now that Catholic Priests and Bishops have been drawn in since the 19th century, if not before. Many Popes have forbidden Catholics to join the freemasons; but many Catholics do join to get on in life. You hear of some leaving when they realise the religious aspect to freemasonry. It is believed one of the main goals of freemasonry is to destroy the Catholic Church, and some say they were instrumental in a perverted version published and distributed of what was really agreed during the Second Vatican Council. Between the freemasons, the communists and now the sodomites, it is a wonder the Church has survived at all. Jesus promised hell would not prevail against His Church. I believe Jesus. Oh most importantly, I have read that the Triumph of Immaculate Heart of Mary will be the END of freemasonry, and all the minion of the devil who have been duped into joining them. This can explain why the Holy Father was warned not to mention Russia by name. Because I believe satan knows his number is up when Our Ladys' Triumph comes, and satans minions have since the 1960 got a very strong foothold on the Catholic Church, from what I have read.
Behind the Lodge Door is a very good book to read on Masonry. Im rusty these days on masons but I believe your correct Julia on men can only be masons and Ladies join Eastern stars, who support masonic activity. Once upon a time I worked with a young lady who was an eastern star. The most bizarre beliefs in Christ should would speak. By the 3rd degree (of 33) one knows masonry does not jive with traditional Christianity.
