I am going to see this magnificent choir, The Sixteen, in Belfast at the end of June.

 

I hope I have not posted this before
but I wast just watching "Jesus of Nazereth'
which has a stellar cast including Anne Bancroft.

Beautiful but with a curiously modern feel.

 

I feel transported to the Middle Ages when I hear this music. In a way, it reminds me of churches, medieval castles—a mix of melancholy, faith, and fear of God. It was a time when life expectancy was so short and the future so uncertain that the fear of the Final Judgment was constantly knocking at the door.
