He was the chief investigator for the Shroud of Turin expedition in the 1970's when they first allowed the shroud to be tested. He has a wonderful exhibit and does lectures in Colo. Spgs. Colorado in the U.S. He first told me about the apparitions in Egypt at the Coptic Church there.
Even tho it was a blessing, I heard it once said (probably by Michael Brown) that when our Lady comes, shortly thereafter a war, genocide etc. happens so many people --when she comes say--uh oh...we are in for it now...
Yes I've thought that too! I know personally my greatest consulations in prayer seem to come right before very bad news in my life. Now I'm almost afraid of them, except that when the bad news comes I know that He is with me and helping me because He's already consoled me.
I agree! I had a very difficult year after my rosary turned gold color. The blessing is a warning that things are to come and you need to set yourself like flint and look only to God. It's not good enough to pray. You have to really know that your nothing without his graces and most of the time in your weakness and suffering, His grace is all you need for strength. Shep
