I clicked in to read up on Eddie Stones. I had never heard of him before and wanted to find out more about him. There is an interview linked on the site but it is dead when you click on it. Thank you Quis ut Deus for remembering us all in the petitions. God bless and reward you for your kindness.
I am not long back after my 670 mile round trip I visited Eddie's place on wednesday but didn't get there until after 3pm, The weather was very bad and the rain /wind was so fierce I had to take it easy and stop a few times,I managed to give eddie all of the petitions but did not hang around for a chat as I had to be in galway for 6pm. On thursday my wife and I visited Galway cathedral the last time I was there I was 10 years old and I sang with my school choir dressed in a lovely white monks robe lol wow how 37 years have flown I remember it as if it was yesterday, I placed a copy of all the petitions with the shrine to Our Lady and also lighted a candle to St Therese at her beautiful shrine unknown to me my wife took a pic and she swore St Therese was looking straight at me ,, So after the cathedral we went to cong and as mad as we are we ended up at Knock so all of your petitions ended up yet again at the feet of Our Lady of Knock,, so guys you have been well blessed over the last few days. On Friday I managed to find our dear friend Miriam's grave (Mary) I learned that Miriam died on the 5th October ( Feast of St Faustina) I left a little note and a blessed candle at her grave and said a prayer and farewell from all of us ... Thank you so much Quis ut Deus, God bless you. I take it the picture at the graveside is at Miriams grave. The pictures are lovely.
Thank you so much John, too bad you didn't get to spend more time with Eddie. I bet Therese did look at you!
Beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing. And thank you for remembering our intentions at multiple sites.
Yes that's right Julia.. I arrived very late Padraig he was putting on his coat to go home as I entered the chapel, he looked very tired so I did not want to bother him but thankfully I managed to achieve what I set out to do by getting the petitions to him.. For me personally the trip was supposed to be a short break for me and the wife but as always God has other plans, from I found out that I was traveling to Galway I couldn't get Miriam out of my head and so the trip became very focused around her.. I must admit it was a very special and enjoyable time away, Our last night seen us in Athy (Co Kildare) we had been bought tickets to a High Kings concert which I thoroughly enjoyed they opened the concert with their song below ..
