Daria, I looked for a video on St. Matrona in English which left me with few choices. But I found a short video on the saint and her Church of the Blind. It is beautiful and looks like it sits atop a mountain. I'll keep looking for more. She reminds me of Therese Neumann and Maria Simma.
What? What does "private prophecy" have to do with not being based on scripture? The heart of all prophecy should be based within scripture and Church teaching and not apart from it. One could argue whether it should be explicitly or implicitly. My question still stands, which is where in scripture or church teachings is anything like this prophecy said, “Everybody will die without a war. There will be numerous victims. Everybody will be lying dead on the ground. In the evening everyone will be on the ground, and in the morning they will rise. Everything will go into the ground,”? To be honest, none of this statement makes any sense to me. Maybe it is a bad translation, I don't know. I guess we will have to disagree on how to define prophecy false and true and not confuse it with approved and alleged prophecy.
Interesting video from Cuprys. It's a beautiful proof of St. Matrona's veneration - and her help - in all the Orthodox world. To me she is a very very beloved Russian saint, who's biography I have translated and who's help in my own life I have been experienced many times. There would be a lot to tell but I say now only this: she healed people from age of seven so that those people came in crowds to her little Russian village from far away towns and villages. She was blind from birth and from age of 16 could not move her legs. She was chosen one, of course. How could she speak against scripture? I can't understand where the problem is. I can't imagine that there is something dangerous or contrary to Christian faith in these few symbolic words. Due to the lack of language skills I can't participate in theological debates. If somebody is interested in this saint I can try to find some information in English.

The time will come when they put the cross and the bread in front of you and ask you to make your choice.” “We’ll choose the cross, but how shall we live?” “We’ll pray to God, take some soil, form it into little balls, eat them and be no more hungry.” On another occasion she comforted a person and urged not to fear anything: “Imagine a carefree child who is carried around in the sledge. The Lord will sort out everything.” Matronushka often said: “If a nation loses faith in God, it faces scourges, and if it does not repent, it disappears from the earth. How many peoples have disappeared, but Russia existed and will exist. Pray, ask, repent! The Lord will not abandon you and will keep our land!”

-thanks, this was an interesting video! But St. Matrona has given only a year, 2o17, when something uncomprehensible happens. It may be a celestial phenomenon or not. In the article there was this hypothesis that comet Honda is somehow involved in that phenomenon. I don't have any proof for it....but I may search for information in Russian language. In Russia they also study stars quite effectively - and don't have the same "big brothers" as in West preventing the publication of information. Of course their leaders may have their own best interests in these matters, too... this is not my specialty. Perhaps our astronomy enthusiasts can say something enlightening...

According to observations of astronomers, on the 10th of February 2017 a huge comet will come close to the Earth. Even now scientists are unable to say what will be the distance between the two heavenly bodies, and what ravages will consequently take place. Did Matrona really mean a cosmic disaster? “Everybody will die without a war… Everybody will be lying dead on the ground.”
I know I am always the nay-sayer in these things lately. But remember what happened towards the end of last year? 2016 was the year!! We had dates during lent, then in sept, then oct, and nov and December... and now that 2016 looks like it is not the year... que everything from 2017 we can find.
Yes .... & with three weeks to go we may get to stumble through another year ..... but with many more Faithful Alert, Watchful and Spreading The Word to get Right with God AND Get Prepared. The Lord gives us "Signs" for the above reasons and the "Signs" don't seem to be decreasing in number or "brightness"! We know that when "The Gloom-n-Doom" does arrive in earnest we will have been prepared ... and ready to welcome The Glory to follow! GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
I don't know of any alleged or approved prophecy naming specific dates or time. Prophecy tells us details of events coming and that we are in the season.
Fatima, With all due respect, Our Lady promised the children at Fatima that she would perform a miracle on the last day of her apparitions, which was Oct. 13. Generally, however, date-setting is viewed as a red flag. It is what exposed LTTW as a fraud.
Just a reminder, 3 days of darkness may be interpreted in a spiritual sense and not a literal one. There are plenty of souls today, who are outside the Church living in darkness. These same Godless souls are knocking on the doors of the righteous. But they don't knock for the right reasons. They knock for the opening chance to tempt the righteous against God. We see the 3 days of darkness happening everyday.
The world is real in the darkness. And it will be increased, that finally it shall become material darkness. Pater Pio saw material darkness - the final Chastisement. But in the Apocalypse is mentioned mostly spiritual darkness. I ask:'Is there among people the true Love yet?' 3days could be 3years... And it is still worse and worse, also here on MOG
