What a Christian way of looking at things. Many, as Scripture says who have entertained strangers have entertained angels unawares. I think we may all of us be strangers in a strange land soon enough. I am just back from the country and am aware that some country folk hate city folk like myself for no good reason but that I come from the city. ..and I mean hate. I can feel suspiciuous eyes on me every time I am down there, like, 'Is that city boy gonna steal our chickens?'
I'm so glad you mentioned this Fatima, as it has been my observation as well (Southern California). You spoke my changed feelings on this matter exactly
One thing seems certain with the 10 Medjugorje secrets and that is I don't think we will have to wait 100 years, as in Fatima prophecy, to see them fulfilled. I think we will have little time after the messages are revealed before they come to fruition. Like domino's the events will fall.
I think it is interesting that the Book of Exodus mentions that the ten plagues or punishments were announced in advance to the Egyptians. At least we know the first three secrets are like blessings/warnings but the last seven are punishments. There will be no doubt that they come from God being announced in advance. Plague 9 was DARKNESS over the whole land !!
The same goes for the coastal town we just moved from and the new Catholic community we just entered. It is the Hispanics who are preparing their children for the sacraments and attending to the needs of the parish.
Northwest Oregon and now Southwest Washington. Our new Pastor is also Hispanic and he runs himself ragged saying five Masses every weekend for a very appreciative congregation.
We have large Hispanic presence here as well, Southern Maryland, Western Shore of Chesapeake, Mass in Spanish in some parishes around.
Fatima, I have NO DOUBT that the majority of Illegals are decent people BUT!!! We are a Nation of LAWS and have a right as a Nation to defend our borders, protect the needs of our citizens, have orderly immigration .. or none, expect immigrants to adhere/assimilate to our Laws & Traditions and not be a burden on our, sadly, crumbling tax base and infrastructure. We have given a whole class of people a "Get Out of Jail Free Card" so that the Democrat Party can count on their vote every two years and dishonest businessmen can exploit them..... and neither of these two entities care if they assimilate or no. It will not end well!! All of our urban centers are nothing but 3rd World HellHoles now and allowing huge numbers of people to, flagrantly, ignore Laws is a great way to make the USA look just like a composite of Haiti, Somalia and Venezuela! GOD SAVE THE REPUBLIC & ALL HERE!!
I use to feel very strongly this as well, but after a lot of serious reflection the last year I seriously doubt when SHTF that we'll care whether or not the person alongside us in the strife came here with documentation or not. The person standing next to you in defense may speak no English and have no papers, but the one trying to take out your family may have been here for generations. We could agree all day long about unfair tax systems, job loss, our constitution and the laws we built our country on, but I believe it's too late for those arguments (even if they are valid). I believe at this point though that we should unite with all like-minded individuals Catholic and non Catholic, documented and undocumented. You may be surprised by who your allies are in a deadly confrontation.
The best news revealed in the book was that the first 4 secrets are the warnings and miracle. The rest are either for the seers only, or can be prayed away like some tribulations planned. Mirjana says the Virgin gave her a scroll of paper that She (Mary) wrote down the secrets. When Mirjana showed it a few family members, each person saw something different written on the scroll. The Virgin said that the Priest that Mirjana gives the scroll to ten days before the secrets start will only be able to read the secret that applies to that time. The secrets will each be released to the world 3 days before they happen. Mirjana says they are not all doom and gloom, and that we should be joyful about God's plan, and that even the Warnings will so much help mankind to know Truth and make it through the time of the Antichrist. The Antichrist will come directly after the 4th secret I believe she said.
You may well be correct DM. THE STORM will make for strange bedfellows ..... but a Lawless Society cannot be a Christian one ..... unless the Christians have gone underground!! GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
Unfortunately there are no easy answers for a lot of the problems our society faces, especially terrorism. I can easily see why the insertion of a chip in humans will be proposed in the future, I certainly don't agree with this but this will be "sold" to the public as a solution. For those who have read it, does Mirjana give any hints that these events will occur soon? They must occur in her lifetime, it at least sounds that way. I also wondered about the timing of the book in this respect which I had seen other members mentioned also.
The biggest shocker for me is that they are saying the antichrist will come directly after the 4th secret. I thought there might be an antichrist type of figure on the scene in the near future like a hitler type; but the book seems to be saying the antichrist...
Not a shocker to me or to many current messengers. The AC comes soon after the Warning. After the Warning ALL alive will know truth. All will either choose Truth (God) or reject him and follow the Antichrist. All will be signed after the Warning by accepting or rejecting the truth given at the Warning. It all begins.
I didn't read this in the book. Are you sure? In fact I just did a search on my Kindle and the word anti-Christ does not appear in the book.
