On the first of every month, our Lord gives Anne a new message about His call to service.

    Jesus
My dear apostles, together, we are making advances. Humanity groans with the changes coming upon them and yet heaven's servants become holier and holier. The project that is your holiness is on track. Dear apostles, this is the most important thing and this should be your greatest concern. I want you to be aware of your progress. Instead of being distracted by the changes occurring in the world, you are actively participating in the changes through your personal commitment to remain connected to My will in each day. You are offering your service through your allegiance prayer and I am accepting your service and using you to teach others what true holiness looks like. From the outside, you probably look as though you are working hard. From the outside, it is probably evident that your commitment has cost you something, meaning, your own plan. You have submitted your plan to Me and I have handed you My plan in return. Accepting My plan for your life is not easy and some moments are more difficult than other moments, and yet, you continue. You strive for total acceptance of My will. This is what I am asking of you and this is what the Father asked of Me. Abandonment. If you want to learn about abandonment, simply look to My figure on the cross. My Passion offers you a glimpse of where abandonment took Me. Your joy in service offers others a glimpse of where abandonment has taken you. Please be joyful. Your joy offers the world hope. Joy is infectious. And hope is infectious. Suffering passes away and what remains is your offering. I am returning. I tell you this because it is true and I want you to be prepared and to help others to be prepared. All is well. The infant King looks out upon a world which craves Him. Bring Me to others, that they may also herald My return

I'm sorry but I have to tell you I laughed right out loud with this one! I just couldn't believe that He said this...AGAIN it feels as though He's talking right into my life.

The past 5 days have been nothing but this very conversation with God. No, no,in fact since our Mother's Message on the 25th, this has been the core of the conversations I've had with the Lord. Facing and owning the fact that I can do nothing on my own and that my surrender and and abandonment are so crucial, critical to the mission, so necessary.
I'm at once flabbergasted and consoled at the very same time....sounds just like HIM doesn't it?

Maria Esperanza saw many events in the world, especially by way of natural disasters; however, the other and more profound puzzle was her prophecy that Christ is ready for some kind of a manifestation. It was Esperanza's view that Jesus would soon come in a different way than He did 2,000 years ago, that He would appear to many people, in a way that would be more private. She held this view up until her death. "It is very different than what people think," she had told us in December of 2003. "He is going to come in silence... People will realize He is among us little by little.

She speculated that the manifestation -- which sounds different than the actual Second Coming, and would precede what she called an "awakening" -- would occur in "from ten to twenty years" [she died 2004] and that He would come "in the same way as He resurrected, as an apparition." "That's why I have been saying to be ready, because things are starting to happen," asserted the mystic, who was attached to the Church-approved apparition site of Betania and who saw 2004 as the start of it, a year that was to witness the onslaught of hurricanes as well as the great Asian tsunami and her own death.

Whatever the case, we take Esperanza's predictions seriously -- not as Gospel, but seriously -- due to striking previous hits and due to the holiness she exhibited right unto her own death. Moreover, her words seem to connect with those of St. Bernard of Clairvaux (1090-1153) -- who once allegedly preached that in addition to the Second Coming, there would be some kind of intermediate appearance. "We know that there are three comings of the Lord," St. Bernard is widely quoted as saying. "The third lies between the other two. It is invisible, while the other two are visible. In the first coming, He was seen on earth, dwelling among men; He himself testifies that they saw Him and hated Him. In the final coming, 'all flesh will see the salvation of our God, and they will look upon Him Whom they pierced.' The intermediate coming is a hidden one; in it only the elect see the Lord within their own selves, and they are saved. In His first coming Our Lord came in our flesh and in our weakness; in this middle coming, He is our rest and consolation."

The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches only a Second Coming that will come after the full inclusion of Jews in the Messiah's salvation and a final trial that will shake the Church, along with arrival of the anti-christ. "On Judgment Day at the end of the world, Christ will come in glory to achieve the definitive triumph of good over evil," states the Church, without mentioning or dispelling an intermediate manifestation.

Our Lady at Kibeho said we should prepare for Christ's coming, though I hadn't known Esperanza said that.
