Lynne, I notice no one is knocking down the door to respond to this clip.Have you ever thought of the difficulty of striving to be a holy priest and waking up the sleeping parishioners in the pew. If you say it like it is, you are bound to get pushback. Recently, a visiting priest gave a clear, convicting sermon against abortion at my parish. At least one parishioner got up and left. Maybe she was carrying the pain of having had an abortion or someone close to her had had an abortion. Pain can lead to anger to produce such a result. And yet, especially in NO parishes, where there is less chance of having a united, orthodox mindset among the congregation, pastors tend to be more careful. Who wants a stream of complaints being sent downtown? We are in difficult times. I pray for the above priest and I pray for a spirit of conversion among both priests and their flocks. May all of us be more bold in whatever setting God has placed us! Jesus, give us that rare combination of prudence and boldness that will open the hearts of others to stand on the truths of Jesus Christ and His Church. May we be instruments to open the eyes of those we love in these crucial days, come what may! Safe in the Barque of Peter!
Its a terribly sad clip. My heart goes out to this poor priest, We (the Church and the world) have caused this, Our priests need our prayers they must feel so greatly overwhelmed. I'm glad the clip ended with that beautiful prayer for priests by St Faustina Dearest Mother of good counsel, Virgin Most Powerful and Queen of Apostles, pray for our dear Priests. Amen
"I'll probably get a letter" says it all. So many of our poor priests are between a rock and a hard place.
We are going to have to be more bold and “Do whatever He tells you” - especially now in these days of darkness. The Light must overcome the darkness. Pray much and speak out when necessary so others will not drown in the cesspool.

This priest is heartbroken, he couldn't contain his anger any longer. Very painful to watch this, God help him. I had some very angry moments myself this past week, things are so bad you just want to scream. We've been abandoned and deceived by our Church, and our government, and the persecution is just beginning. This is our cross, Father.
Dr Taylor Marshall spoke to this and had a really wonderful quote from St Paul about staying calm and not getting angry and holding it together.
