Alert: Volcano eruption in La Palma could result in mega-tsunami

I've mentioned this before but I think it is significant for right now. A very holy woman I knew who died two years ago and wS I believe a real saint--told us of an experience she had many years ago at a charismatic conference. She had a sudden vision in the midst of the conference and saw not the stage but St Peter's in Rome. And there were clerics all laughing and drinking and feasting. And on the other side of the square there were people dressed as pilgrims dressed in long dark robes prostrate on the ground praying and pleading to God for mercy. Flames were licking around the feasting prelates--drawing closer and closer and they were oblivious. She told us the vision was terrifying. She looked around and no one had seen it. They were all listening to the conference speaker. But then she saw a priest his face white with terror staring back at her. They went out into the hall. She said 'you saw it too" and he said yes he had. Neither knew what the vision meant but it was dire and fearful. And they knew much much prayer was required.
The "eat drink and be merry" made me think of it.

 

Oh my…this rings true. I believe she saw this…and it was real.
If we are suffering, as hard as it is, it’s better than those who “eat drink and be merry".

I know this isn’t the proper place but I want to know Lisa’s with ALS- her funeral is tomorrow. Our daughter is going.we can’t because we are not vaccinated. It is 3 hrs away.However I rarely ever dream and 2 nights ago I had a very vivid dream of her in a wheelchair with A Very BIG Beautiful Smile.I will have another mass said for her. It was uplifting!

 

Amazing dream RR, it must have brought you great comfort. Praying for Lisa's soul, and for the family.

 

Oh Rory how beautiful. She was sending you a "post card" by God's gracious mercy. All your prayers and concern as she was dying have born beautiful fruit. Thank you for telling us.

edit- looked at that other site which is following this and just saw there was a 4.9 EQ and some rock slides. Also saw that back in March there was a tsunami practice drill. Hmmmm…

keeping it in prayer but also being roughly 20 miles inlland from NYC and even closer to Hudson River…. Watching very closely. Prayers.

 

I don't think he is Jewish unless he converted since his "English Breakfast" video from 2017. Bacon and eggs doesn't seem quite right for an observant Jew.

Unreal!!!!! Not another volcano?!!!!!

 

I’m not sure exactly how God is in this event this week, but I know He was. I was terribly worried about my son vacationing in Cancun relative to his proximity to laPanta fearing he’d had little to no chance to escape if a tsunami occurred. He was to be in Cancun until Sunday then head to Florida to extend his vacation with his friends.
On Thursday I texted him to see if he was ok… I just had this gut feeling.
I hadn’t heard anything from him for awhile….then he respond back that he was “dead lying in a ditch”. …typical of him to make fun of my worrying nature. This was before anything had yet happened.

Yesterday he called me in the afternoon and said he was coming home early because he was almost killed. I laughed and said, no, you’re coming home because the weather stinks…it had been raining. He said no mom…I’m serious…I said, “Patrick, come on…! “ Finally, I could hear in his voice that he was serious…dead serious. He then related to me what had actually happened. He and his friends were in a restaurant hanging out with other tourist when a gang from a drug cartel busted in and began shooting up the place. Pat was sitting near a table with two girls who were both shot.They both dropped to the floor as did my son. He and his friends lay there watching this poor young girl bleed out and die. The other girl later died along with another male tourist.
My son crawled to the bathroom while shots were still being fired. After hearing nothing for some time, he came out to see the carnage around him. He and all of his friends had miraculously escaped. The girls that were killed were only inches from them so they understood very well how close they all came to dying. John, pats friend began to cry with emotion at seeing this horrible scene and said, “ we’re only alive because of Divine intervention….and that’s exactly why they are alive. I had a horrible feeling all day that something was wrong. That’s why I texted him earlier. I prayed to his guardian angel and St. Michael for his safety. I had warned him before he left to not stray from the resort because of the cartels…he didn’t listen.
As bad as this was, and the scars it leaves, I believe that hopefully my son will come to see that God did spare him. I told him that God was truly trying to get his attention….hopefully this horrible event will have lifted the veil of unbelief for my son. I’m heartsick for the parents whose children were killed this week…but for the grace of God!

As much as I’m comforted that he has now left Cancun, he’s back in NY! So I’m back to worrying that he’ll only have eight hours to get out if a tsunami occurs. Praying for him and everyone of you and your loved ones in the path of these worrisome…possible events.

Just the fear of a life ending event is enough to put you on your knees.

OMG that is so scary. Thank God your son and his friends escaped. A mother always knows when the life or wellbeing of her child is under threat. Your prayers were heard as they will continue to be.
