I'm glad someone agrees with me on this. I was starting to feel like I was alone and we'll be having the faithful prophecising about everything but what is 'approved'. Yes we do have plenty of approved prophets to speak of, but sorry I don't know the ones you just meantioned except for St Faustina. But that is probably because I have only recently been a daily catholic instead of just a Sunday one. I can't express enough. We do have a responibility to those who are looking for guidence, we cannot risk it.
This question is making me give an open confession. 3 years ago, when I re looked at Garabandal by watching the dvd, I knew I had to change. God has always been in my life even if I wasn't doing the right thing at the time. But I certainly knew after watching about Garabandal that I wasn't on the path to Heaven. My confession. I wasn't going to say before. But I will now. It was you who pointed this out to me without even realizing it. You said recently about the fear of God. Something about.... a person can change because of fear of being sent to hell. Or you want to change for the love of God. I put myself back to how I was feeling after watching the dvd, and I'm pretty sure I was fearful of being sent to Hell. I know I need to love more. But I have changed alot in just 3 years. Yes, I have such a way to go still. I have really enjoyed trying to live as a daily catholic, I feel better for it. No it wasn't Garabandal that made me start questioning everything. I believed EVERYTHING. It has only been since this year that I decided to become wiser, after being shown the wealth being made for the seers at Medjugorje. This alone made me not believe. So to make sure, I had to look right into the whole thing. So now I question everything, because I don't want to follow Satan's messages, and let's face it, Satan is very active now. i hope that answers those questions. I put it as brief as possible.
None of us are perfect Jane I too need to change be patient with yourself you are on the right track you will fall at times get back up and remember put all your trust in Jesus and Our Lady
After the Warning, this forum as many others will be closed, so enjoy the peace time we still have, it’s my friendly advice, communication between us will not be possible any more. Due to some confidences, I have been informed of what could be the situation after the Warning, I will also add again the importance of the confession, once a month is my situation but they advise me to go to confess more due to the incredible power of the Warning, very painful, our own faith could suffer as well as the lies are very huge today in our world as in our own Church unfortunately. If all was OK, if our Holy Church was always on the good road, God will never need a Warning, if the Warning is on the way and to our head it’s also because of many lies because of many sins but until the current Holy Pope is still a life, we are still saved then we must be aware especially if the next one is link to the number 2. Some other confidences : The 2 Biggest regrets of our Holy and current Pope : 1. Mrg Lefebvre (1988) 2. Fatima (2000) Benedict XV was the Pope during Fatima, Benedict XVI will be the Pope of Garabandal, it’s of course and as usual my own opinion only. Aviso
I have never said that the Warning will be a short moment. What I have said is that even if it were a moment it will be very impressive and terrible. No one will have doubts of it being from God, and of its not being human. I, who know what it is am very much afraid of that day. we would prefer to be dead than to experience the warning..... Conchita PS : The answer in red. Aviso we would prefer to be dead than to experience the warning.
Oh I like that man! I love what he says about the black pope. I have had this discussion for years. I never thought it would be a rogue pope but rather governments trying to sit on the throne of Peter as in trying to dictate our laws and say what we can and cannot do. It may be that we will not be allowed the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass because this offends. That is much more like it, and then of course forcing a one world religion (in the name of 'peace') upon us... Of course Catholics won't go for this, and then the great persecution of us will begin. More and more already we are being outlawed as they change the rules of the law. Already our adoption agencies have been shut down because we wouldn't allow gays to adopt.
The Catholic church is being swept clean at the moment before she undergoes her crucifixion as Christ did, but she will rise again.. One Holy Triumphant Church.
Joseph Card. Ratzinger His Prophecy written many years ago: (Around 1970?) "From the crisis of today the Church of tomorrow will emerge— a Church that has lost much. It will become small and will have to start afresh more or less from the beginning. It will no longer be able to inhabit many of the edifices it built in its palmy days. As the number of its adherents diminishes, so will it lose many of its social privileges. In contrast to an earlier age, it will be seen much more as a voluntary society, entered only by free decision. As a small society it will make much bigger demands on the initiative of its individual members. Undoubtedly it will discover new forms of ministry, and will ordain to the priesthood approved Christians who pursue some profession. In many smaller congregations or in self-contained social groups, pastoral care will normally be provided in this fashion. Alongside this, the full-time ministry of the priesthood will be indispensable as formerly. The Church will be a more spiritualized Church, not presuming upon a political mantle, flirting as little with the Left as with the Right. It will be hard going for the Church, for the process of crystallization and clarification will cost it much valuable energy. It will make it poor and cause it to become the Church of the meek. The process will be all the more arduous, for sectarian narrow-mindedness as well as pompous self-will will have to be shed. (…). But when the trial of this sifting is past, a great power will flow from a more spiritualized and simplified Church. (…) It may well no longer be the dominant social power to the extent that it was until recently; but it will enjoy a fresh blossoming, and be seen as humanity’s home where they will find life and hope beyond death."
With all the different of opinion on Medjugorje, I was thinking...... After the warning, will we know the truth about doubted apparition sites? Whether it is Garabandal, Medjugorje, MDM, Maria of Ukraine, or what ever else is out there. And God knows there's many.
think if they are false, they will be too frightened to speak out again after the warning. This will confirm it for most. If they started again 12 months later (when the fear had left them and scientists had come up with an explanation for the warning) then we will all know.. But I think after the warning, we will all be more honest, and probably a bit wiser spiritually too, so things will be more clearer. This is just my opinion All I know is with regard to the warning I am walking around keeping my beedy eye open and approaching people to train as catechists etc. I kind of realized today that I am actually preparing for this, but spiritually as in trying to get a good team of catechists for R.C.I.A together. I am encouraging all those I see walking and living their faith and who have a healthy relationship with God. This thread made me realize that.
Isn't it funny how sometimes we find ourselves doing things, or have a sense of urgency in some things etc, without actually knowing why?
The spirit is urging us all to realise 'time is short' and to use this time well to convert and become the saints God intended us to be. Hurricane Sandy - [I don't like being a dirge], sadly is a sign of what is to come 'for all of us'. But our Lord has warned us to 'look out' for the signs of the times. 10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. 12 “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. 13 And so you will bear testimony to me. 14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. 15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. 17 Everyone will hate you because of me. 18 But not a hair of your head will perish. 19 Stand firm, and you will win life. 20 “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. 25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” 29 He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 “Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
