I think what is supposed to happen is that Mary is to leave a visible miraculous sign at all the places she visited , so if there were not one in Medugorje it would be a clear thumbs down from heaven. This reminds me of a joke about Knock , our Irish National Shrine. All the Bishops organised a specail event at Knock and about a million Catholics gathered to celebrate. Then up on the stage Our Blessed LAdy appeared and everyone applauded. But then Mary said, 'I would like to thank you all for your big welcome on this my very first visit to Knock.....'
..and that, by the way is one of the first trhings I would do after things calm down is visit a lot of sites to see the Signs. But the main thing is to help people. There will be a lot of hair pulling and gnashing of teetth, I want to help people as many poor people as I can to come to tterms with things. I hope all my Catholic sisters and brothers will be doing the same, starting with our own families. I know at least two of my sisters will need their hands very tightly held.
But I have to say I am very,very much looking forward to it. I hope God will pardon me for a right few, 'I told you so's,' to different people.
I'm concerned that when the warning happens my kids will be in school. (I have 4 young kids that go to different schools) I know when the warning comes the sky will get dark and a cross will appear but will i have enough time to go get them? I am keeping them home 11/13 and 12/21 just in case. i know it will be the same time all around the world. We might even be asleep. Any suggestions? I keep praying that my children will be with me when it starts. Maybe I will be ahead of those who don't know what is happening. But our government might down play the warning like they did with 911. They might say its a storm brewing.
I think you will be safe enough sending them to school on those dates as the conditions are not right yet for the Warning. The Pope has yet to visit Russia for example.
Slept between 4-7am. I am awake. What to do after the warning. It has got me buzzing. I agree with Padraig, it is exciting. But we have to be very wise. Today I am in my 6th day doing a novena to the Holy Spirit. I have never done this before. It was highly reecomended by a lady ath my parish. We are going to need the 7 gift of The Holy Spirit to help guide us.
I must confess I get confused about the conciliation of some expected pre-warning events including Russia and (apparently) an invasion of Europe and persecution of the Church in a WW III type situation and the statement attributed to Conchita: “no third world war” .
My family (not husband and children). They have ignored my warning regarding 'the warning'. In fact, they have been very different to me since. They just don't believe it. It was sort of like, "a prophet won't be listened to in his own home." If Jesus experienced this, we can't expect to do any better. I wonder how my family will be after the warning? Will they ask me to tell them more of what should they expect to come? Or will pride get in the way? I loved hearing Padraig say he will be full time on the forum. I had said to my husband some time ago, I will give up my job. I only work 10 hours a week, so we'll see. I know alot of people. All sorts of people. Rich, poor, Catholic, protestants, atheists, kind and selfish people. I figure, face book will also be a help. I have been slowly putting warnings up on f/b. This has to be done carefully so I don't get befriended.
My understanding is... The world will be at it's worse. Now remember, the children of Garabandal saw in a vision of how it will be like. So in their eyes it was at it's worse. But one thing seems for sure is......There needs to be an invasion of some kind in Europe. Russia is on the lips of Mary. It's hard to believe this could happen this year as we are nearly into November. But this CAN happen in a blink of an eye. Generally speaking. When we get 'invaded', they are not going to tell us when they are going to do it. It will come as a surprise and a shock. I think 'the warning' will prevent a WW3.
I really think that we need to be careful of dates etc, many said the dates would be in the year 2000 or there abouts, depending on how accurate calenders actually were. Priests were warning people not to get too carried away as this also happened in the build up to the year 1000. I know so many that listened in the 90s, but then when it didn't happened they turned their backs, now people no longer appear credible when they speak of God. We need to be very careful and remember that Christ said no one knows the date, the time or the hour except the father etc.. I hate the idea of 'I told you so.' When I think of how many will be really suffering after the warning, it makes me very sad, and I just want as many turned towards God before then so that there will be less pain. This is going to be a terrible thing, we will probably find ourselves sitting outside the confessional when we realize how much we actually have to change and we have no idea of ourselves in the sight of God's holiness. Compared to that, which of us could stand and beat his chest? Compared to the holiness of God.. I am a stench. I hope that we will be compassionate rather than finger wagging. This is one of the many reasons as to why our churches are empty today.
I dislike hearing dates. When Maria Saraco told me and 5 others her predicted dates, I told the others not to tell anyone, because if she is wrong, it would not be good. But since then, it has spread like wild fire. When Christ said "no one knows the time or the hour except the Father", He was talking about the second coming. Regarding the warning and the miracle, Mari Lolli knew the warning date, and Conchita knows the miracle date. On these matters, I would hope no one says "I told you so." I believe it is always wise to think 'I could be wrong.' We will never be right about everything. After the warning. Think how busy our priests are going to be in the confessionals.
Yes, you are absolutely right Jane, he did say regarding the second coming. And that He would come like a thief in the night. It makes sense that Mari and Conchita don't know the full dates, that they each have a part. It also makes sense to me that things at Garabandal were quite scary in their warnings as it was the beginnings of the bedlam that we have today, a huge wake up call was needed.
In todays gospel, it talked about being a servant first. Because we are going to be looked to for guidence, we will need to pray so hard for help. Maybe we can become "full of ourselves". We need to be humble. Oh dear. I use to love being centre of attention. I use to be the life of the party. I need to do some serious thinking. Maybe we have to remember our own sinful ways when we talk.
Hi Everybody! Only God knows if we will get to live the warning, one thing I'm almost certain, the warning will occur before the year 2018, if I´m going to be alive…no one knows. That´s why I prefer or at least try to do the job today Now that I´m here tomorrow has its own worries. Anyways just in case I´m trying to put together a website, a catholic portal in Spanish for my compatriots, it will have Saints information, catechism, sacraments info etc, all related to our catholic faith. And I kind of feel like making a website dedicated to the Jewish people, after the warning for sure a lot of Jews will be ready to convert to Christianity and we have to be prepared. So another thing I must do is to study more the catechism and meditate on the word of God in a more profound way every day. Also I´m doing the Saint Louis of Montford total consecration to Jesus through Mary, my consecration day is on November 13 which is the anniversary date of the last apparition of Garabandal, can I ask you for your prayers? I have tried to do this consecration before I have failed...
Hi Patty. Yes we have to live through the warning first. Everyone have different roles in life. So so true, tomorrow has enough worries of it's own, so why worry. Some are going to feel called to speak and help after the warning, some won't. Good luck with what you are doing. After the warning many people will need to read Padraig's writings on the Dark Night of the Soul, which he is working on at the moment in the 7 Gardens of Prayer: First, a World-Wide Warning that will happen in the sky...like the collision of two stars that do not fall down... it will frighten all humanity regardless of where one happens to be at the time... it will be a thousand times worse than earthquakes... like a fire that will not burn our flesh ... it will last a very short time, although to us it will seem to be a very long time ... no one can prevent it from happening ... It will be recognized as coming from God... it will resemble a punishment ... it is meant to be a purification ... like the revelation of our sins and what we will feel in our hearts will be worse than sorrow. It will not kill us, if we die it will be caused by the emotion within us. The date was not revealed only that it will happen before the announcement of the miracle.
