Many years ago I read a story about Abraham Lincoln ,which has stayed with me ever since. Not long after his election as President Abraham Lincoln was approached by a Senator who asked him to find a place in Government for a friend of his. The new President arranged to meet the man and did not give him the sought for position. Annoyed the Senator again went to the President and queried why the place had not been awarded to his client. Lincoln responded that he did not like the look of the man's face. The Senator startled and annoyed asked if this was fair? Abraham Lincoln quietly replied that the soul of each man, his inner self is write large on each mans face by the age of thirty! I repeated this story to a very saintly priest and hermit , long since I am sure very high up in heaven and he was annoyed by it, considering Lincoln's actions unfair and judgemental. This gave me pause for thought coming from some one I have always considered to be a living saint and made me go away to think about things. But you know I thought then and I think now, after all these passing years that Lincoln was right. We can view people with many senses and I do think very often the evil in mens hearts are often writ very large upon their faces. Not only that but on their whole bodies. Very often I have noticed , when men are given to evil a jumpiness or disconectedness to their movements. In their faces it is often as though as something was peeking from their right back out at you. This is not only the presence of their own evil but of an actual demon{s] within. A good instance of this is in the old news reels of the Nazi leaders. In fact they made almost a cult of this evil, preaching that the Nazi was to cultivate a certain hardness and reserve in demeanour. In the training of SS recruits they were given a German Shepherd pup which they raised as their won and at a certain time in their training they had to strangle the unfortunate young puppies. Evil recognises evil and they wanted to see a reflection of the corruption of their own souls in the faces and bodies of their own followers. I think you see this, for instance in the case of Saint Padre Pio of Saint John Vianney who saw so quickly into the hearts of men. Here is one such story from the life of the Cure of Ars: 'I will mention just one extraordinary fact that reveals his gift of reading souls – the discernment of spirits – that he had. This fact was reported by one of his penitents, a young lady who was a Daughter of Mary. She went to confession to the Curé of Ars. He was quite elegant, appeared very upright and danced with several young ladies? - Yes, I do. - Do you recall that you had a great desire to dance with him? - I recall that. - Do you recollect that you became sad because he didn’t ask you to dance? - Yes, I do. - Do you remember that by chance you looked down at his feet and saw a strange blue light coming from them? - Yes. I remember. Until now, everything he described to the young lady came from his gift of discernment, because naturally he knew nothing of her past. Then, he made the astonishing revelation: - That young man was none other than the devil who had taken that shape to tempt several of the young women there. He was unable to approach you because you are a Daughter of Mary protected by her, and you were wearing the Miraculous Medal. Also of course in the life of Jesus were again and again on meeting folks he could see so very quickly deep ,deep into folks hearts. A very good example of this is the Samaritan woman at the well. 29“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” I thought about this when I saw pictures of Dr George Tiller, the murdered American mass baby killer on the media. I hasten to say that you cannot be prolife and take life for that is like putting out fire with gasoline. His killer has probably done more to harm the pro life cause than the mass killer Tiller himself. But, anyway When I looked at his photograph it seemed to me that there was a huge sense of evil there. But more startlingly than that the same evil in the face of the doctor who is to replace him, Dr LeRoy Cahart.. So yes I do think Abraham Lincoln was very wise in what he said all those long years ado, that the evil that men do is written large upon their faces.
The Liberals and abortionists will of course milk Tiller's death for all it is worth as if he is some kind of martyr. Let's be clear - Tiller was murdered and this was an evil act, which cannot be justified - we pray for the conversion of abortionists that they may have a change of heart. But Tiller himself was involved in a great evil, the murder of innocent babies in the womb and he was one of the few doctor's in America prepared to perform late abortions - that alone is the measure of the man - he chose to perform evil acts. He has gone to meet his maker to give account for every single death of every single baby, one by one he will see each child and the consequences of every single action in his life. He will undergo a scrutiny in the true court of justice. He has no place to hide and he will have no defence for he will encounter Divine Truth that finds fault with everything. He will encounter the Holiness of Holiness. No one can fathom or understand the exemplary Holiness of God. The Blessed Trinity is the Thrice Holy God. Let us live holy lives - for each of us will face the same judgement. And I have recieved this word in my heart this morning 'A proper and holy fear of God is the beginning of all wisdom'.
I think Garabandal, I was more than a little surprised that he was shot attending the Church of a Protestant sect were he was not only a respected member , BUT A DEACON. In the name of goodness. Those people MUST HAVE KNOWN WHO AND WHAT THIS GUY WAS. Again a sign of the times, a complete loss of the sense of sin. What's more he had a 'chaplain' who encouraged abortion, again the face of purest evil.

Tiller's death has a surreal quality about it for me: the flag bearer for late term abortion shot dead inside a church were he was a deacon. It borders on insane -- the entire scenario, in its entirety. There is a radio talk show host here in the USA who contents that modern liberalism can be equated with a mental disorder. I'm beginning to agree with that thinking.
Was Tiller an evil man? Are abortionists evil? Yes! Tiller cooperated with a great evil, the murder of the unborn. Each killing was the slaying of an innocent human life, a life that has no voice, unable to defend itself, the weakest and most vulnerable of all human creatures. Blood was spilled, life was sacrificed in the name of utility, the child a disposable by-product. To the degree that Tiller cooperated with this evil he was possessed of this evil blood-lust. Let's be frank and clear here, Thou shalt not kill' is a mandate written in stone for all eternity and no one has the right to take life. Tiller not only disobeyed a divine commandment, he coperated with and glorified in the slaying of innocent blood. 'By their fruit ye shall know them'. Tiller's pastor and his protestant church are on the road to perdition. They are anathema, a blasphemous sham, they worship Baal and not the true lamb of God, They are heretics, apostates and blasphemers. They are anti-Christs for they know not the truth nor he who is the way the truth and the life. The world has become so perverted that I long for Divine Justice; Maranatha, Come Lord Jesus, with thy holy arm of Justice. The well of the mercy of God is running dry! He was very, very well educated. I have been feeling a little guilty all day, recalling the admonition not to speak ill of the dead. I will pray for their poor souls. CS Lewis in one of his books who puts forward similiar types of views. Its very dangerous if an impression of being warm, caring, compassionate, loving empathetic and so on is given by pro abortionists or whatever and you argue against it, for you seem to be an unfeeling monster. I'd guess the late minister would have seemed a very, very nice and warm human being. But, the road to hell..... I feel like a warning in all this. Self deception is so dangerous, that's why just being obedient to the Church is a relief and reassurance.
We need to pray for the conversion of abortionists while there is still a time of mercy. God's mercy knows no bounds but at the same time in our generation it seems that people are deliberately and defiantly choosing evil over good. I feel it is one of the gifts of the spirit to unmask the deeds of darkness and Satan and know our enemy for those who chosen evil are on the path to perdition. It seems that as the darkness deepens it will be obvious who is for Christ and who are against. It is our duty as Christians to make sacrfices for 'poor sinners'.
