I've been asked to pray for a young man who is fighting for his life. He's severely depressed, an untreated addict and has attempted to take his life repeatedly...to this point unsuccessfully. Please pray that the family stops pretending and works towards inviting the Lord's truth and light to enter not only the situation but their hearts and especially the young man's. Please God hear my prayers.

if you are able, please recommend this place to them http://www.cenacolofriends.org.uk/about-us.html it is a place for addicts and alcoholics called the Cenacolo community, it is free and anyone can go, it doesnt matter if they are catholic or not, or even know how to pray, they are taught to pray and work there, there are lots of houses all around the world, my brother is there and he is like a different person now, he used to be so depressed and drink a lot but he has turned his life around and met so many great friends. just a suggestion its worth a try if they will listen!
Angela, thank you so much. I did recommend it to my nephew but unfortunately it fell on deaf ears. I know it would help him tremendously. And you are so blessed to have your brother there. Real healing takes place there. Unfortunately, this young man is "untouchable". I can't get close enough to help. The family is blinded by their pride and are going to handle this "their way". They may loose him if they don't snap out of it. My prayers are my sword against the dark one who holds him.
