I just listened to a story (in the back round ,while working on my computer ) that I feel I must share. It is the story of a man named Dushan Yovanovich from Serbia who in 1976 was given a tour of Heaven and hell, by St. Peter . His detailed description of hell and what happens to sinners, even not in hell is quite terrifying. I would love to hear your feedback on this story. Pay particular attention to parts 2,3,4.
I watched these up to the middle of the fourth installment. I couldn't watch anymore as the description of hell is very, well...hellish. As to whether this is is a real account, who knows.
Here is a critique on his visions http://www.johnsanidopoulos.com/2011/07/critique-of-visions-of-heaven-and-hell.html Here is a written version of his visions http://www.holycrossyakima.org/orthodoxPdfs/VISION OF HEAVEN AND HELL.pdf
Hope, thanks for the critique. I was hoping someone would post some written opinion of this. Not that I believe this is 100% true, but it does have some elements that sound possible. Interesting never the less.
I would not discount his testimony so readily. Is it possible...all things with God are possible. If a man can be raised from the dead...then how hard is it for God to give a atheist a taste of the unknown. I do not presume to put God in a box when it comes to the unexplained. I would treat it like prophecy...take the good from it and never doubt the power of God.
There is always something good in these stories. This one made me think of a few sins that I must confess
