this is a message I sent to the nuns I was wandering if you could anwser this to.

Praised be Jesus Christ now and forever. Happy Easter! I am still working on getting confirmed please pray for me. The main reason I contacted you is because I had a question. So if God wills me to be a Carmelite for now I'm writing may be a author for a little while. Since I would have to wait three years. But my question
Here is a senerio A love triangle. Let's call the girl Beth. And the two men she has to choose mark and John. She got into a engagement with John but she ended up falling in love with Mark. And John allowed her to go to him. So then they got validily married. But Mark had to run away due to gangs trying to hunt him down. Beth falsely thinks Mark is dead from mishearing he died but is alive. So she goes back to John while Mark is hiding from his enemies and is trying to contact beth and thinks she knows he is alive. John and Beth get a invalid civil marriage and not recognized by the church. as Beth is tricked thinking she is married. She js carrying Marks son. 10 years later they meet again and find out the truth figuring out she was actually never married to John and married to Mark all this time. And they get back together and John moves on and all repent and do penance and recieve reconciliation. Is that right to end up back together. Being rightfully married I know this may sound confusing but I pray you understand my question.

It sounds like you could write movie scripts Sponsa ;)

The answer to your question is yes.
If Beth and Mark were sacramentally married in the Catholic Church then they are always married until one of them dies. Neither one of them is free to get married civilly to anyone else.

    Happy Easter :)
