Well, I finally heard from the other Rebecca...she is having a surgery on tuesday (today). So the crisis that was preventing her from paying for the dish she bought was her own health. She responded, thanking me for the offer to send or to bring her the dish. She then said she was having surgery and that she was so very sorry but in a couple of weeks she should be able to pay for her purchase if I was willing to wait, and so on. Well, I emailed back and told her I would just send her the dish, I would mark it paid, and it would be one less thing for her to worry about, no matter how small. then I thought about it and decided to tell her the story of how her buying the dish caused us to go to the shrine that weekend and how her "not" paying actually was a confirmation, and I was not upset about it at all. In my story, I mentioned Medjugorje briefly too, and then I thought of another thing. I offered to also send along with the dish, a rosary from Medjugorje, that perhaps it would bring her some peace and comfort. Well, by this time, she would probably think I was quite the nut, so I ended my email there. Again, no reply at all. It appears she is jumping online, writing a few emails, and then getting off for several days. She is a big ebay seller and buyer, so I imagine she has a lot going on too. Well, i promised to send the dish, so today I did just that. Then, hesitating, I went ahead and included a little wooden Medjugorje rosary and a Miraculous medal, along with a short note of my well wishes for her in the form of a little prayer. I was just compelled to do it. Maybe what she realy needed was a rosary and God gave me that mission...to send her one. I prayed a Rosary today for her, and some other prayers too. Can I ask some of you here, in our powerful prayer tree, to pray for Rebecca in Green Bay today, as she has whatever surgery she is having? We have such a good group here. Thank you all!

Wow!! This is turning into a beautiful pilgrimage Connie. Like Terry I admire the way you are letting the sails of your heart be filled by the winds of the Sprit! ..and the story isn't over yet, perhaps its just beginning... I'll pray for Connie at mass this week....

Rebecca is home in Ireland in hospital but is in decline and it does not look good - I am praying to John Paul II to intercede and perform a miracle.

Well, I received ebay feedback from the Rebecca in Green Bay. She said I was a kind and thoughtful seller, and that was all. I have not received any emails from her. I may try to email her this weekend. So I know she is recovering from her surgery and she received the dish and the rosary and the medal. But nothing more. She may still be recovering from the shock of receiving a rosary... LOL Any word on the other Rebecca?
It was sweet and maybe later she'll realize the value, even if not today. I just recieved a Rosary gift from a co-worker's mother (I've been praying for her in a tough situation- their priest has been acting strangely so the parish is in need of lots of prayers). I have to tell you that a gift of a Rosary (as the ones you gave to me Connie) is such a blessing. I hung this one in my office and I look at it and think about God throughout the day and reminds me to pray about tough stuff I face at work. God has blessed me with new friends through the Rosary. Rebecca may come round later and see the gift for what it truly is, a connection to God, Mary , Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Keep giving them out. Kath
Please pray for Rebecca today as she is going back into hospital today for an operation - she has internal bleeding. Dear Jesus, who bore the cross for us please touch her body with your healing hands and restore her to full health, Sacred Heart of Jesus have compassion for poor Rebecca in her continued suffering. Mary, Mother of Jesus intercede for Rebecca, Blessed John Paul II pray for her, Padre Pio pray for her, Mother Teresea pray for her.
