I didn't want to say anything before because I obviously don't know all the details but leaving seemed like a bad idea to me. You were so excited when you first moved there! Continued prayers.
It's been such a strange and challenging journey, to be sure. I only know God seems to have wanted to work on a lot of things with us, and this whole situation the last couple years has been like a training ground, of sorts lol. Being humbled, working on trust, detachment, learning the meaning of charity, etc. He's not done yet, I'm sure!
I am so happy to hear this. The country is such a better place to be in these time. Kudos to your husband for taking your property off the market. And God's richest blessings on you as you carry your new baby.
PF, you and your husband have overcome so many obstacles on your journey to make this a home for your family. I am so happy to hear that you will not give up on your dream. God got you this far, and I know He will provide your family. Congratulations, and blessings on your pregnancy.
I feel I have been lax on here this summer as we had so many interruptions and I’m praying but not going to enough weekday masses . I have to try harder to go to mass during the week. PF I will continue to pray for you and for your pregnancy . May God Grant you much peace and many Blessings. Another sister in law died named Anna - a grandson came for a visit for 4 days —a granddaughter came for 10 days and our son and wife are coming the last week of August. And our daughter needs me occasionally Please pray for me as well as I have a lot of paper work to organize and it’s taking a toll on me. I’m happy for you PW. It’s exciting to get a new baby!
Wow, that's a lot, RoryRory! I will certainly be praying for you! Thank you for your prayers. I'm glad to hear that your children and grandchildren are coming for visits. Family is such a blessing, isn't it?
You have a lot of oranges in the air to juggle Rory. I will keep you in my prayers. You are such a faithful prayer warrior. Don't worry if you can't keep up right now. It reminds me of St Frances of Rome who said "sometimes I have to leave Jesus at the altar so I can take care of Him at home." Taking care of your family is taking care of Jesus!
Thank you all. I would love to be at Adoration every day but thanks for your comments. My grandson in the reserves also brought a buddy for 1 night as he was also going to see his grandmother who lives near Sydney and when he came back upstairs he said “You have a statue of St. Michael. I lost my icon. So I went to the shrine near here and got them both medals of St Michael . It was so nice to know they had confidence in him .
PF I am happy for you that you and your family have settled in. Everything is falling into place for you. Congratulations on your pregnancy and I pray for blessings for all of our families.
There is a definite upsurge in difficult day to day family matters for all of us i think. Slow increasing pressure it seems to me. Requiring yet more patience and more trust in God. The air is charged with negative energy /demonic static. Big and small. Staying in union with Christ and Our Lady is an absolute must for all of us. Sigh. Who was the poet who wrote "The world is too much with us"
Wordsworth “The world is too much with us, Late and soon. Getting and spending we lay waste our powers.”
