Thank you Fatima for posting Fr. Robert's website. I wish that everyone would pray the Hours of the Passion for Jesus has told us through Luisa that He would lesson the chastisements those places where the Hours are prayed.
Julia, Please see Fatimas reply to your question about praying the Hours of the Passion. Fr. Robert Young has a wonderful website and he has posted the Hours for anyone interested in praying them. This is what Luisa (Piccarreta) says about praying the Hours of the Passion: “The satisfaction which blessed Jesus feels from the mediation of these Hours is such that He wishes that there were at least one copy of these meditations for souls to practice for each city or town; because then what happens is that in those reparations Jesus feels reproduced his own voice and his prayers, which He raised to His Father in the twenty four hours of His painful Passion. And if this were practiced by at lease some souls in each town or city, it seems to me that Jesus makes me understand that the Divine Justice would be partly placated, and his scourges would be partly stopped and, as it were, extinguished in these sad times of torment and bloodshed." As for making the Consecration to the Divine Will, Jesus tells us this: ...it is true that the living in my Will is a gift, and it is to possess the greatest gift; but this gift - which contains infinite value, which is currency that arises at each instant, which is light that never goes out, which is sun that never sets, which puts the soul in her place, established by God in the divine order, and therefore she takes her place of honor and of sovereignty in the Creation – is given but to one who is disposed, to one who will not waste it, to one who will esteem it so much and love it more than his own life; even more, he must be ready to sacrifice his own life so that this gift of my Will may have supremacy over everything, and be held as more than life itself - even more, his life be nothing compared to It." Then you will be ready to make your Consecration to our dear Lord and give your "Fiat" to living in His Divine Will. To live and be consumed in Love is the most beautiful act!
Julia, Thanks for your interest on LUISA PICCARRETA and Living in the Divine Will. The Consecration can be made by reading the Prayer of Consecration (posted by Lynnfiat here http://motheofgod.com/threads/a-light-for-your-journey.6623/page-12#post-79055) I do that every morning and it reinforces my decision and my humble prayer for the Grace of the Divine Will. What matters is the intention of our will. And then we will obtain it by sheer Mercy of God so we keep asking for the Grace. -This is my take, we will see the response of the experts here The Hours of the Passion are the best recommendation for Lent. Maybe we could upload one Hour every day here, or at least some pages especially when the Hours are very long. EDIT: I didn't see Lynnfiat response when I hit the "reply", and only after posting realized that she had already answered you.
[Jesus:] “My daughter, my Will is like opium to the body. The poor patients who have to undergo an operation - the severing of one leg or one arm - are put to sleep with the opium. Thank you for your replies. I have sent an email to Father Young, to see if I can share in one of the hours. I have read the Consecration posted by Lynnfiat. To my amazement, I had made one up on my own and was stumped to find so much in the Consecration which I already say. This must mean Holy Spirit was working without my knowing it. I try to say my home made version everyday, and know it off by heart from the heart as they say. I would also like to testify to the truth of those who find that when we Consecrate ourselves to Sacred Heart of Jesus through Immaculate Heart of Mary. Blessed Mother seems to lead us to Luisa Piccarret0. This describes what happened to me too. Signs to know whether the soul is in grace: [Jesus:] “My daughter, the sign to know whether a soul is in my Grace is that, as my Grace communicates Itself to her, the soul is ready to execute what Grace wants, in such a way that the Grace which was already in her interior and that which communicates Itself afterwards hold hands and, united with the will of the soul, place themselves in the attitude of operating. If then she is not ready, there is much to doubt about. Grace is symbolized by electric current, which turns on only those things where preparations have been made to receive the electric current. But where these preparations are not present, or some wires are broken or consumed, even though there is current, the light cannot communicate itself.” February 6, 1908

I come to ask for your assistance dear friends of Luisa Piccarreta. In response to Holy Father Francis asking us to make a 24 hours of prayer on 13th and 14th March. I got the courage to ask my parish priest this morning if we could use the meditations from Luisa Piccarreta. He asked me if he could see them first and he will let us use them if ok. I have downloaded a book with 152 pages on my own pc; but I am certain I came across a link here in Mother of God Forum which to my utter amazement showed books available within one hours drive from where I live in south east UK. Can any of you suggest where I could find that link again. I have gone back through the posts and can't seem to find it. As you can imagine, I am desperate to get this book to my priest. It will be a beautiful miracle if these meditations on the 24 hours of the Passion of Our Lord were used in our parish. Our Bishop is the one published on the Internet who made a CD of Holy Rosary. He has also Consecrated our Diocese of Portsmouth UK to Immaculate Heart of Mary. Please, please try and help.
Julia, you are so blessed to have such a holy Priest in your Parish! I do not know where you can obtain the books in the UK, but ask Our Blessed Mothers help and She will be sure to answer you as She wants this, especially to come from our Priests.
