Seeing that I was not saying anything, He Himself continued to speak about the holy Magi, telling me: “By having communicated Myself to the Magi in three ways, I obtained three effects for them, because I never communicate Myself to souls uselessly; rather, they always receive some profit for themselves. So, as I communicated Myself through love, they obtained detachment from themselves; through beauty, they obtained contempt for earthly things; and through power, their hearts remained all bound to Me, and they obtained the bravery to lay down their blood and lives for Me.” January 6, 1901

I can only say that I feel this passion that no one may be able to prevail over me in loving You, and that I should be the first in loving You, above everyone, and no one may be able to surpass me.* But this does not content me yet; in order to be content, I would want to love You with your own love, so that I may be able to love You as You love Yourself. Today January 8, 2015, we've seen a first step of what is coming FAST on us. I see people brazing themselves in different ways. As committed Christians we have to seriously consider, in prayer, what our response to the Times we are living is going to be. We need to start praying about this. There is a most powerful way of responding to the crisis we live in: martyrdom. Martyrdom has two basic forms: 1. one is to remain faithful until death, until shedding our blood and our life, in the face of violence from the enemies of God -in whatever shape they show up, and even forgiving them for their crime/s. 2. the other is that of choosing voluntarily the martyrdom of living in the Divine Will with all its consequences, which entails the state of victim. This might remain a "white martyrdom" without the shedding of blood. Here is a quote from Luisa that speaks of the 2nd martyrdom, in the context of the coming feast of the Baptism of the Lord: "Jesus continues to speak about the state of victim, telling me: “My daughter, the baptism at birth is by water, therefore it has the virtue of purifying, but not of removing tendencies and passions. On the other hand, the baptism of victim is baptism by fire, therefore it has not only the virtue of purifying, but of consuming any passion and evil tendency. Even more, I Myself baptize the soul, bit by bit: my thought baptizes the thought of the soul; my heartbeat baptizes her heartbeat; my desire her desire, and so on. However, this baptism is carried out between Myself and the soul, according to whether she gives herself to Me without ever taking back what she has given Me. This is why, my daughter, you do not feel evil tendencies and the like. It comes from your state of victim, and I tell you this for your consolation. So, tell Father G. to be well attentive, for this is the mission of missions - the apostolate of apostolates. I want him always with Me, and all intent within Me.” March 13, 1912

Therefore, It yearns to be known in order to bring Its life and fulfillment to the works of Its creatures; more so, since I am preparing great events - sorrowful and prosperous; chastisements and graces; unforeseen and unexpected wars – everything in order to dispose them to receive the good of the knowledges of my Fiat. And if they let them sleep without casting them into the midst of creatures, they will render the events which I am preparing fruitless. What an account will they not have to give Me? With these knowledges I am preparing the renewal and the restoration of the human family. “Blessed daughter of my Volition, every act of the creature done in my Will is a step that she makes in order to draw near to God and God in his turn makes a step in order draw near to her. One can say that the Creator and the creature are always walking, they never stop, the one towards the other, and my Will descends in the act of the creature in order to form his step of divine life, and she climbs in the Fiat, in the divine regions in order to make herself conqueror of light, of love, of sanctity and celestial knowledges. So that every act, word, breath, heartbeat in my Will are so many steps of divine life that the creature makes, and He, the One who longs for these acts in order to have His field of action, in order to be able to form so many divine lives in the creature. This was the purpose of the Creation: to form our life in the creature, to have our field of divine action in her, and therefore we love so much that she does our Divine Will, in order to put our life in safety, not in us, we don’t have need of anyone, we are more than sufficient to ourselves, but in the creature. This was the great portent that we wanted and we want to do in virtue of our Will: to form our life in the life of the creature. Therefore if we don’t do this, the creation would remain without our first purpose, an impediment to our love, a continuous bitterness to look at her and to see a work so great work, and of such magnificence, and not realized and our purpose failed. And if there was not in us the certainty that our Will might have to reign in the creature in order to form our life in her, our love would burn all the creation and would reduce it into nothing. And if he supports and tolerates so much, it is because we see our realized purpose beyond the times. May 30, 1932

"Since the confessor had given me the obedience to pray to the Lord that He would manifest to me what should be done in order to draw souls to Catholicism and to remove so much unbelief, I prayed for several days, and the Lord would not deign to manifest Himself on this point. Finally, this morning I found myself outside of myself, transported into a garden which seemed to be the garden of the Church, and in it there were many priests and other dignities, who were discussing this topic. While they were discussing, a dog of enormous size and strength came out, and the majority of them were so scared and exhausted as to let themselves be bitten by that beast, and then they would withdraw like cowards from the enterprise. That fierce dog had no strength to bite only those who had Jesus in their hearts as their center, who would thus form the center of all of their actions, thoughts and desires. Ah, yes, Jesus formed a seal for these people, and that beast would become so weak as to have not even the strength to breathe. Now, while they were discussing, I heard Jesus behind my shoulders saying: “All other societies know who belongs to their party, only my Church does not know who Her children are. The first step is to know who those are who belong to Her, and these you can know by establishing a reunion one day, to which you will invite them, so that who is Catholic should convene to the appointed place for this reunion; and there, with the help of the lay Catholics, they should decide what it is advisable to do. The second step is to oblige to confession those Catholics who convene, which is the most important thing that renews man and forms the true Catholics. And this, not only for those who are present, but they should oblige the leaders to oblige their subjects to confession; and if they do not succeed with gentle manners, they should dismiss them from their service. Once each priest has formed the body of his Catholics, then will they be able to advance to superior steps. March 14, 1900
"I felt all immersed and abandoned in the Divine Will, and while I continued my acts in It, my sweet Jesus, moving in my interior, told me: “My daughter, the soul who lives in my Divine Will is the triumph of It. As the soul does her acts in It, It releases Its virtue of bilocation which, flowing through all creation, extends Its Divine Life in it. Therefore, the soul who lives in my Will gives Me the occasion to bilocate my Life for as many acts as she does. This is why, not only is she the triumph of my Will, but I receive more honor from the soul who acts in It than from the whole of Creation. In fact, in creating each thing, God placed in some the shadow of His light, in some the notes of His love, in some others the image of His power, in others the blossomings of His beauty; therefore, each created thing has something that belongs to its Creator. But in the soul who lives in the Divine Fiat, God places all of Himself – He centralizes His whole Being in her; and bilocating in her, He fills the whole creation with the acts that the soul does in His Will, in order to receive from her love, glory and adoration, for each thing which came out of Our creative hands. So, one who lives in It, places herself in relation with all created things; and taking to heart the honor of her Creator, through the same relations which she receives - for each thing, from the tiniest to the greatest, she sends out the return of her relations for all that her Creator has done. Therefore, all communications are opened between the soul and God. The creature enters into the Divine order, and enjoys perfect harmony with the Supreme Being - and because of this, she is the true triumph of my Will. March 31, 1927
Today I discovered this thread and have just spent the last 2 hours immersed in reading the content. Thank you both woman clothed with the sun and Lynnfiat. I have been following the teachings of Louisa Piccaretta on the Divine will for approx 15 years. Prior to that the Lord had been leading me to experience the Divine Will in small ways and I didn't know whether what I was experiencing was valid or not as I had not heard of Louisa Piccaretta or any teachings of this kind before. In fact as a Catholic I believed we had our little will and we were to pray for God's Divine will to come on earth as it is in Heaven and to accept His will when things didn't go our way. However the Lord started to show me little areas of the Divine Will teachings and as I said I did not know if they were valid or not. To give an example; I would walk outside and join my love for God to all of creation and at times be in a near ecstasy. I was also shown that God allowed His spiritual energy force to circulate back to Him and after reading Louisa writings about her rounds, I had a fundamental understanding of the rounds that she speaks of. When going to confession I have a strong desire to repent of the sins of all mankind. I spoke to my parish priest about this and he agreed that I could mention to Jesus that I was sorry for all the sins of the world. So therefore I was very happy to discover the writings of Louisa, however I must comment that the writings are very mystical as are many other writings of many contemplative saints and when absolved in them one has a feeling of floating above the earth with an understanding that surpasses the normal every day. Most of our life here on earth is lived in the mundane and the ordinary. I believe to live in the Divine will is possible by giving the Lord our little will. As Mother Theresa says every day you wake you must convert again. This means we give our little will to God everyday and live in His Divine will. I tell Our Lord constantly that I am not doing a very good job of living in His Divine will and if He wants this for me than He must do it for me as I am nothing. I believe that many saints have lived in the Divine Will without knowing that that is what they were doing. And many of you here on the forum are probably doing the same without knowing that this is what you are doing. The Divine Will is simply a constant act of love for and to God in ever thought, word and deed. Our little will depends totally on the Divine Will for love; it is therefore the Divine Will that loves through us. I hope what I have stated can be understood and is sound according to the teachings of the Divine Will.
