the BBC reports that a huge solar flare directed at Earth started off last night {Tuesday at 2 am GMT. Apparently it is directed at Earth. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-12485104 Its the bright spot at the centre of this picture....you can't see from this distance but if you can see a close up of the sunspot it appears to closely resemble a standing horned figure  ..and scientists have given it the number 'sunspot 1158'..so again we see the number '11' Here in the North of Ireland it is already causing the most beautiful Northern Lights. The Glenshane Pass. Some scientists say it will cause no damage but already there are reports of it interupting short wave radio transmissions in South China. http://news.xinhuanet.com/english2010/china/2011-02/16/c_13733621.htm You can download an animation of the sunspot and flare here, from NASA; tell me what the sunspot reminds you off??!! http://www.spaceref.com/news/viewsr.html?pid=36102
