I think of him as an unwitting co-conspirator. Or as the communists called the liberals who helped them in their cause, "a useful idiot." He is simply a puppet controlled by the powers in the shadows.
If we are in the final stages of the tribulation of the end times, and if there is a single personification of THE antichrist, surely he would be front-&-center on the world stage at this time. I think he would be deceitful and shrewd, so as to not be obvious, possibly even appearing unwitting and inept. And his image would cause half the people to fawn, and half to cringe when they saw his image.

I lean more toward your line of thinking, Kathy, especially so after seeing the picture of President Obama looking clueless in the situation room the night Osama Bin Laden was shot and killed. He definitely did not appear to be the man in charge. Forward in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!

The NWO seems like a fairly daunting prospect. However, the media have a very good ability to hide events and portray them as they would like them to be portrayed, thus making it difficult for a lot of ordinary people to recognise. It seems like a lot of people who are aware of its (NWO) existence are those that are well read in the Bible, Christians or Catholics predominantly. The Book of Revelation seems to give good foresight into it.
I would say we won't have long now for the world we know/knew to be gone forever (2-6 months) max. Every wordly sign and prophetic word idicates this to anyone who has their eye's and ears open. The big four meltdowns (government, economics, society and church) will soon take place, causing great panic and fear throughout the pagan world we now live in (the colapse in the Church is the split not a destruction). For those that have not been preparing spiritually and physically, I say you have little time as we have alread entered the storm of the apocolypse and are now days away from the 12th hour colapse. Few are prepared to live without water, electricity and gas let alone their I-Phones, internet and their social networking. What a slam it will be to the worldlings.
..........Maybe so. And one reason is just pure logic that most discerning people can observe as "the power behind the power" of these western governments (e.g. centralized banks, etc.). However.......... Just remember the insights given (even of late) by those that are directly familiar with the attacks and influence of the demonic. The cunning of the demonic exceeds our intellectual abilities and plays on our pride, and all of our weaknesses. Therefore, it is apparent that the demonic often choose to appear clumsy or unintelligent (much like "an idiot"), to catch us with our guard down (so we overestimate our ability to discern or defend). When the positions taken by one of the most powerful world leaders are almost 100% consistently on the wrong side of the Truth, yet are put forth as "good" (i.e. "man for the sake of man" goodness), it certainly demonstrates the "spirit of anti-Christ". But it may demonstrate a lot more. I think we are at the very,very start of the Chastisement rather than at the end. A good sign we are in it might be if we have no home and nothing to eat for several days. I also think we will not see the full power of evil till after the warning. Things are just getting warmed up. Let's warm up our prayers and fasting.
