Sister Lucia may well be a saint but she is not infallible with regard to the interpretation of the prophecies that she received. Many more have died by abortion since the 1960s than by all wars in history put together. We will never have peace until this industrial slaughter is ended.
Sure, she wasn't infallible, but I'm going to assume she knew the plan better than us since she was having ongoing apparitions from Jesus and Mary her whole life.

No one knows the plan or mind of God even saints for St Paul says we all look as 'through a glass dimly'. But Sister Lucia was correct in saying we live in an age of diabolical disorientation in both the Church and the world.
I looked through the link from spirit daily you provided and I could not find any mention of day 3 of Fatima week. Have I missed something? In which books have you read it? I am deeply interested in Fatima as I think it is highly relevant for our times. I am so keen on it, I took my whole family to Fatima on the 100th anniversary on 13 October 2017. Did you watch the video within the article? I'm thinking if you didn't see it in the written part, it must have been in the video. As far as which books I read it in... I'm really not sure! Perhaps it was in "Her Own Words to a Nuclear Age." I'll see if I can find it mentioned anywhere else online.
Yes, if I am not just barging in on the conversation, Sister Lucia said that the Consecration of the World sufficed to Consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary...but yes, I have heard this questioned. This is a bit of what the late Father Gruner's (Fatima.org) cause was. See first article. To me, it's been one of those "open questions", there are good points on both sides... I think the Crux of the matter is that Russia was not specifically consecrated.
Yes it will be fascinating to get things explained, especially events in our lives. Even now as I get older and look back on things I can understand things much more clearly. The Hand of God was writ large everywhere. I heard last night that CS Lewis believed animals could be in heaven, this cheered me up no end.

It is indeed an open question. The video in the post has been questioned for the veracity of the translation, I think. That video was posted on this forum before. I’m really not sure I can find it. But that video is not the be-all and end-all.
Also here's an article about the 3rd day of Fatima by Mr Donal Foley "THE FATIMA WEEK" by Donal Anthony Foley One of the most enigmatic sayings of Sister Lucia concerns the idea that we are part way through the “Week of Fatima.” She stated this in a rather compelling interview with Filipino Cardinal Ricardo Vidal on Oct. 11, 1993, in which she asserted, “Fatima has just begun.” By this is understood the idea that Fatima, far from being a past historical event, is something that is being worked out even now in Church and world history, and still has much significance for the future. In a video-taped interview with the Cardinal, Sister Lucia stated, “Fatima is still in its third day. We are now in the post-consecration period. The first day was the apparition period. The second was the post-apparition, pre-consecration period. The Fatima week has not yet ended…Fatima has just begun.” There is much food for thought in these statements. The implication is that we may well have many years to wait before the promised Triumph of the Immaculate Heart is finally fulfilled. In fact, this is the clear impression Sister Lucia gave in the interview: “People expect things to happen immediately within their own time frame,” she said. “But Fatima is still in its third day. The Triumph is an ongoing process.” The collegial consecration of Russia, requested by Our Lady at Tuy in Spain in 1929, was carried out by Saint John Paul II in union with many of the world’s bishops, in Rome, in 1984. Sister Lucia categorically stated this during the interview: “The Holy Father has performed the Consecration and it is done.” While some critics have denied that the consecration was actually done, no one can deny that Communism in Russia and Eastern Europe collapsed peacefully in the years following the consecration. Regarding this question, she told the Cardinal: “Our Lady said that Russia will spread her errors throughout the world causing wars and persecutions to the Church. Many will be martyred and others will be tormented and some nations will be destroyed. In the end, after all of this, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me – but she (Mary) did not say how – and Russia will be converted and an era of peace will be granted, but this was Our Lady’s way of referring to the wars and persecutions and mistakes that atheistic communism was causing throughout the world.” Regarding the conversion of Russia, Sister Lucia explained, “The word conversion means a change; it does not mean that evil will disappear, but that there is a conversion from evil to good. This is the meaning of the word conversion.” Sister Lucia further commented: “All the wars which have occurred could have been avoided through prayer and sacrifice. This is the reason Our Lady asked for the Communion of Reparation (on the First Saturdays) and the consecration.” As regards “prayer”, Sister Lucia was primarily referring to the Rosary, for she stated. “The Rosary, which is the most important spiritual weapon we have in these times when the devil is so active, should be recited.” Following a question from the Cardinal, Sister Lucia also said, “To promote the Communions of Reparation is the means to combat atheism… The Virgin is interested in everything, but particularly in the Communions of Reparation.” By “everything”, Sister Lucia here was referring to the other aspects of the requests at Fatima that make up the devotion to the Immaculate Heart as defined on the World Apostolate of Fatima Pledge: 1) offering up the sacrifices demanded by your daily duty (Morning Offering), 2) wearing the Brown Scapular and living the consecration it signifies and 3) praying the Rosary daily. From what Sister Lucia emphasized, the daily recitation of the Rosary and the Communions of Reparation on First Saturday are powerful spiritual weapons against the evil forces that plague our world today – a world that is living with the spread of Russia’s errors – and should be vigorously promoted. The Mother of God gave us these tools at Fatima for these times. Sister Lucia reiterated the importance of the First Saturday devotion of reparation in connection with the conversion of Russia in a letter to her confessor, Fr. Gonzalves, dated May 29, 1930: “If I am not mistaken, the Good Lord promises to put an end to the persecutions in Russia, if the Holy Father condescends to make, and likewise ordains the Bishops of the Catholic World to make a solemn and public act of reparation and consecration of Russia to the Most Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary. In response to the end of this persecution, His Holiness is to promise to approve of and recommend the practice of the already mentioned devotion of reparation.” (Martins & Fox, Documents on Fatima, p. 281). The persecution of Christians in Russia has ended, thanks to the 1984 collegial consecration, albeit it was done “late” as Jesus predicted to Lucia. It seems, then, that what is required now to defeat the godlessness that has spread throughout the world from the errors of Russia, is a much wider adoption of the First Saturday devotion amongst Catholics everywhere. Sister Lucia herself said this is “the means to combat atheism.” Therefore, we should all be praying that the Pope does, in fact, quickly approve of this devotion in an official way and recommend it to the whole Church. And we should pray the Rosary every day as Our Lady requested. Hi Donna the following is how I see Sr Lucia revelations to us. I believe at Fatima Our Heavenly Mother revealed her plan for humanity, this was ultimately to save souls and get us back to God. Plans are normally strategic, especially military plans and they have certain timelines. We are the Church militant and Mary our Sovereign Queen is the General of the Army set in battle array! In our own plans, whether it be to build a garden or to make a wedding dress etc, we encounter obstacles and interferences and our initial timelines have to be altered to accommodate for setbacks and this is what Our Lady in her heavenly wisdom accommodated for even when she gave that message to the children in July of 1917. Our Lady is truly wise! Lucia tells us in her memoir of August 1941, that Our Lady said the following on 13 July 1917… You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end: but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the Pontificate of Pope Pius XI. When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that he is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and of the Holy Father. To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the Conversion of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the communion of reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, Russia will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she shall be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world. Our Lady’s heavenly plan depends on our adherence to her calls. I believe what sister Lucia said in the 1992 and 1993 interviews, She explains that the consecration has been accomplished by St JPII in 1984 and now we are in the 3 day of the Fatima week. Obviously, the full plan has not yet been accomplished as more needs to be done before we reach the 7th day of the Fatima week. We need to fulfil our lady’s request (the 5 first Saturdays of reparation) and (the daily rosary), penance and fasting, for only with these can abortion, sodomy, pornography and all other hideous evils be crushed. Our Lady said in the end My Immaculate Heart will triumph. It is then that the world will receive the fullness of the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I trust in Our Lady's Heavenly plan. I believe because atheistic communism has spread throughout the world and because the evil one is in a decisive battle against the Most Holy Virgin, we will see evil until the fullness of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart occurs.!
Despite problems we see in the world, I think we are far from how many problems there were at the end of the 20th century, Rwanda but before that in the '70s, genocides in Cambodia, Bangladesh, in the '60s, Indonesia... one has to study history but I'll say again, I don't think it is as bad now as it has been. Actually from the news, everyone talks about Israel/Palestine/Gaza, whatever terminology, they talk of Syria but why not talk about Africa? Ethiopia, apparently a serious conflict happened there recently... I don't think it was genocide but pretty bad... problems in Nigeria, Myanmar, Mozambique too. Very sad.
