Joe, to me, the good Father Amorth would give me more concern as to his genuine ability if he were to state a certainty as to when prophesies would take place. You see only God knows the day, date and time of any prophesy. Anyone however holy and esteemed who claims to know days, dates and times becomes suspect; unless they state that they have been given permission from Heaven to do so. I feel Father Amorth truthfully says, he feels it COULD happen by the end of this year 2015. But God has not authorised him to announce anything WILL happen. What I find amazing is; that it is only now that we can see the destruction of the Sanctity of Matrimony all around us before we hear Sister Lucy said this many years ago would be a deliberate satanic attack on our Faith and Morals. We might have been better to be wised up 40 or more years ago, and be on our guard. Just my humble opinion.
Hi Julia I understand what you are saying but I did not mean that Fr Amorth should necessarily give a date for his prophesy to be fulfilled. His prophesy implies that Russia has not been consecrated to the Immaculate Heart. He is giving a time limit for that to happen. He is saying that the Consecration must be done by October 2015. So he has given a time frame for this. What I am saying is that Fr Amorth's prophesy should not be uncertain. For instance on Garabandal we are NOT told that within a year of the Warning there COULD be the Great Miracle. We ARE told that within a year of the Warning there WILL be the Great Miracle. That is meaningful prophesy. (This comment is not about Garabandal or any other prophesy. It is about the lack of certainty in Fr Amorth's prophesy. No true or meaningful prophesy is expressed in this way.) He is claiming that he knows the Consecration has definitely not been done. He is claiming that he definitely knows we only have until October for it to be done. He claims that the timing of the Tribulation COULD BE conditional on the timing of the Consecration. He should have said that with certainty to make his prophesy worthy of consideration. Otherwise this is not a prophesy but a guess and prophesies are not guesses. In leaving us with the impression of prophesy he has led us to believe there is a definite consequence of the Tribulation beginning within a definite time when in fact there is not. Prophesies do not mislead, deceive, confuse or cause doubt. His does all of the above. I am saying his prophesy should not be conditional on a condition but definite on a condition. As such it suggests God has not authorised Fr Amorth to say anything. Therefore he should not make this claim. Otherwise we are entering the realms of the psychic and fortune teller. To use Garabandal again as an example, the condition for the Miracle is that it WILL follow the warning not that it COULD follow the Warning. This is true prophesy. Fr Amorth is stating a definite date, October 31, for his prophesy and is using this date to bebunk Church claims about the Consecration. I hope, for the sake of his soul that this has been authorised by God. He is using an impression of prophesy to bolster credibility in his assertions about Fatima. Smoke and mirrors. I wonder where the smoke come from. Perhaps he has gone too close to the fire too often in his work. He has even quoted demons as reliable witnesses eg when they told him God was not the architect of hell despite our creed that says "Through Him all things were made."

I always have a chuckle when i read Conchita's dismissal of the visible host as a small miracle. Her simple faith amused the angel too. In comparison with a dancing sun seen by 70,000 I understand Conchita's reaction. God love her.
