Cardinal: "What Sister Lucia told me: Final Confrontation between the Lord and Satan will be over Family and Marriage." A Cardinal tells: Sister Lucia wrote me… the final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family. Don’t be afraid, she added, because anyone who operates for the sanctity of marriage and the family will always be contended and opposed in every way, because this is the decisive issue. And then she concluded: however, Our Lady has already crushed its head. http://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2015/06/cardinal-what-sister-lucia-told-me.html#more
Perhaps this is the information Fr Amorth was aware of when he made comments to Fr Gruner. My friend sent me a letter that Fr. Gruner sent out of March 12, 2015. Here is what it said. ‘I recently returned from Rome, where I went to attend the February installation of the new cardinals. But while I was there, something happened- something soul-shaking! that I did not expect! I spoke to Father Gabriel Amarth, the world’s most famous living exorcist. His words shook me a few things ever have! Fr. Amarth told me that we have but a short time left before the chastisements predicted by Our Lady of Fatima begin to rip our world apart in ways we can hardly imagine! How long? Less than 8 months! Fr. Amarth told me that unless the consecration of Russia is performed – as our Lady Asked! – by the end of October, 2015, the dark prophecies of Fatima may well come to pass any day after that! Why did Father Gabriel Amorth tell this to me? So that our Lady’s Apostolate will raise its voice – as never before- to shout the message of Fatima from the Rooftops! And to do this, we must stand together. We must marshal all of our resources, all of our strength and – Wake the world from sleepwalking to its doom! There is no accidents. All is Providence! Fr. Amarth is at 85, still the chief exorcist of Rome. He has performed tens of thousands of exorcisms and written several books on the subject. He was the handpicked successor of Father Candido, his famed saintly predecessor who himself had special spiritual gifts. Father Amarth knows we are in the final battle with satan and the time is short. I have met and spoken to Father Amorth many times over the years. This is the first time he has ever told me in plain language how much time we have left – exactly – before the manifest chastisements of the world could begin!’
Can this new information be linked with anything else that we know ? A Cardinal tells: Sister Lucia wrote me… the final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family. ...Our Lady of Quito ... "As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and profaned in the fullest sense of the word. ...Cardinal Ratzinger 1984... ''The dangers threatening the faith and the life of the Christian, and therefore of the world.''
A Cardinal tells: Sister Lucia wrote me… the final battle between the Lord and the reign of Satan will be about marriage and the family. We also had earlier warnings from Sr Lucia ... "The first reason is because She told me that the devil is in the mood for engaging in a decisive battle against the Virgin. And a decisive battle is the final battle where one side will be victorious and the other side will suffer defeat. Also, from now on we must choose sides. Either we are for God or we are for the devil. There is no other possibility." ''It is with certain fear because if you despise and repulse this ultimate means, we will not have any more forgiveness from Heaven, because we will have committed a sin which the Gospel calls the sin against the Holy Ghost. This sin consists of openly rejecting, with full knowledge and consent, the salvation which He offers.''
Yes I have heard the existence of this letter confirmed elsewhere. I would have been more convinced if Fr Amorth had said the predictions WILL come to pass rather then "MAY WELL COME TO PASS." Either they will or they won't. Either he knows or he does not know. Do we even know how his information came to him? Did it come in a locution or a vision? Did it come through one of his exorcisms? Who knows? Not me. We all know that the troubles could begin any time. So this letter does not really tell us anything new. Even at the end of his letter Fr Gruner only repeats that Fr Amorth said the trouble COULD begin. He did not say WOULD begin. I am also doubtful about the term Chastisement. As far as I know this is the conditional event that may come to pass after the warning and miracle if mankind does not repent. What we can expect in the near future is the Tribulation which will be terrible in itself but not restricted to God in its origin. The Chastisement will come directly from God, the Tribulation through human agency. Aviso quoted this letter of Fr Gruner about Fr Amorth in his old blog. As you know Aviso does not believe that Medjugorje is supernatural. Apparantly Fr Amorth does. He is a self proclaimed promoter of Medjugorje. There is another well respected exorcist who sees Medjugorje as diabolical. Old Nick must be dancing a hellish jig and rubbing his hands in gloating satisfaction in the face of this chaos and confusion. From the start Satan was a liar and a murderer which are the same thing; liars take the life out of the Truth and murderers kill the Truth. We all have our opinions. In the end it comes down to what convinces the individual although this conviction can be shaped by the opinions of others. Can anyone out there contact Fr Amorth and ask for a straight answer. Will the tribulation begin this year if the Consecration of Russia is not performed as requested by Our Lady in 1929? He should not tease us with doubtful data. Tell the truth and shame the devil Fr Amorth - that should be no problem to you - you are a specialist in his field. Yes or no Fr Amorth. Or don't you know?
Fair question to Fr Amorth, Joe. And one I sent to the Fatima center when I first came across it. Not much chance of an answer now Im afraid.

Reply in this months World Apostolate of Fatima newsletter... Not looking to debate Mac, just giving the main sources response to your post/link. A RESPECTFUL RESPONSE TO MR. CHRISTOPHER FERRARA By David Carollo, Executive Director In May, the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA published the English version of the biography of Sister Lucia, A Pathway Under the Gaze of Mary. The book highlights the life of the seer of Fatima who asked Our Lady if she and her two cousins, Jacinta and Francisco, would go to Heaven. Our Lady responded that Jacinta and Francisco would go soon, but Lucia would stay a while longer to make her known and loved. It turned out to be 88 years longer, and this book chronicles Lucia’s life during these years. Last week Mr. Christopher Ferrara wrote an article accusing our apostolate of purposely hiding Sister Lucia’s real words in the English translation. This is based on a discrepancy in the translation from Portuguese to English. He makes the claim that the World Apostolate of Fatima “surrendered to the Vatican Secretary of State to become a public association of the faithful,” an accusation he also made in a book which he wrote several years ago. The apostolate finds this disturbing. The Church was founded by Christ and the Pope is His Vicar. Despite the imperfections and human failings within the Church, it remains the Bark of St. Peter. The World Apostolate of Fatima, USA is not a part of any conspiracy to hide the words of Sister Lucia. Mr. Ferrara took issue with our translation of one sentence stating the words of Our Lady to Sister Lucia on January 3, 1944, and claimed that there is more written down by Sister Lucia that is yet unpublished. In fact, Our Lady at that time gave Sister Lucia permission to write down the third part of the Secret according to her religious superiors’ orders, after months of doubt, anguish and fear, so torn was she between obedience to her superiors and obedience to Our Lady who had not yet given permission to reveal it. Further, Our Lady instructed her not to write anything related to her understanding of its meaning. We used the word “opinion” rather than “understanding.” The point is, Sister Lucia understood that the Church was to interpret the meaning of the secret, not her, and she was not to write down any further revelations she may have received. We cannot hide something that Our Lady did not want her to reveal. Sister Lucia was also not permitted to reveal the insights she received about the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity in the vision at Tuy, Spain on December 10, 1925. The World Apostolate of Fatima, USA conferred with both the Fatima Shrine in Portugal and the postulator for Sister Lucia’s cause about the translation. The Sisters of Coimbra have submitted all documents related to the cause—including 11,000 letters—and all of Sister Lucia’s private notes and oral narrations to them are now published in the biography. There is nothing more to be revealed, and nothing has been hidden. Fatima is a prescription for life and dwelling on such concerns detracts from the mission which Our Lady entrusted to these three little children and through them to us; namely to amend our lives, and to pray for the conversion of sinners. Mr. Ferrara was associated with the late Fr. Gruner, and it is no secret that we had differing opinions on some things. Upon hearing of his death we immediately enrolled him in our Perpetual Mass Association and sent condolences to his organization. Our hope is that all of us who believe in the Message of Our Lady of Fatima will follow in the footsteps of Sister Lucia, who set aside any criticism of the Church and selflessly devoted her entire life to prayer and sacrifice, and the spread of devotion to Mary’s Immaculate Heart. This is the Message we need to bring to the world, which so desperately and urgently needs to hear it.
Thanks IJoP . I do appreciate reading this . And I suspect this response from the WAF will not satisfy Chris . I look forward to his reply. As for this ...Our hope is that all of us who believe in the Message of Our Lady of Fatima will follow in the footsteps of Sister Lucia, who set aside any criticism of the Church and selflessly devoted her entire life to prayer and sacrifice, and the spread of devotion to Mary’s Immaculate Heart. This is the Message we need to bring to the world, which so desperately and urgently needs to hear it. How would we know if she had any criticism of the church? Murderers have better rights than she had. If the world '' so desperately and urgently needs to hear it.'' Then why did they not let her speak? Freely!
In short , the issue at the moment is , The WAF has changed “that which has been given to you to understand its meaning.” Too .......................... ''Your opinion'' Obviously Sr Lucia was given more . And it is not her opinion. Even in the WAF response ,they fail to mention the words ''Given to you''. And avoid the real issue.
Nice job Chris Ferrara A Respectful Reply to David Carollo by Christopher A. Ferrara July 9, 2015 In my column of June 12 I reported that an English translation of a new biography of Sister Lucia published by the Covent in Coimbra, Um Caminho Sob a Olhar de Maria(A Path Under the Gaze of Mary), falsely translates the following words of Our Lady as recorded by Lucia in one of her unpublished diaries respecting the Third Secret: "está em paz e escreve o que te mandam, não porém o que te é dado entender do seu significado" — "be at peace, and write what I have commanded you, but not, however, that which has been given to you to understand its meaning." The crucial phrase "that which has been given to you to understand its meaning" clearly refers to what Our Lady of Fatima had conveyed to Lucia concerning the meaning of the vision pertaining to the Third Secret which Lucia committed to paper on January 3, 1944. The Virgin's explanation would have to involve a second distinct text, for it is inconceivable that the Virgin would reveal the vision but then decline ever to provide Her explanation of its obscure contents. Yet the WAF ("World Apostolate of Fatima") translation replaces the Mother of God's words "but not, however, that which has been given to you to understand its meaning" with the words "but do not give your opinion of its meaning," thereby converting the Virgin's explosive reference to Her own explanation of the vision's meaning to Lucia's mere opinion. The WAF has responded to my article through its Executive Director, David Carollo. The words of the famous fictional barrister Rumple of the Bailey come to mind: "That's your defense?" Here is what Mr. Carollo wrote: We used the word "opinion" rather than "understanding." The point is, Sister Lucia understood that the Church was to interpret the meaning of the secret, not her, and she was not to write down any further revelations she may have received. We cannot hide something that Our Lady did not want her to reveal. As the attentive reader will notice, Mr. Carollo has offered a non-denial. While admitting that WAF replaced the Virgin's word "understanding" with "opinion," WAF continues to pretend that in the phrase quoted above the Mother of God was referring to Sister Lucia's understanding of the vision rather than what the Virgin Herself had given Lucia to be able to understand it. But Mr. Carollo tries to have it both ways, stating that by order of the Virgin (a) Lucia was not to write down her understanding of the vision, or (b) that Lucia was not to write down the Virgin's "further revelations" concerning the vision. Well, which is it? Version (a) simply repeats the falsification of what the Virgin actually said, whereas version (b) admits there were indeed "further revelations" concerning the Secret. As to these "further revelations," which clearly exist as the Virgin's correctly translated words reveal, the Mother of God would hardly have given a direction that Lucia must never reveal what had been given to her to understand the vision's meaning. If that were the case, what would be the point of the vision — to confuse us and lead to endless debates over its interpretation? The suggestion is preposterous. The only reasonable conclusion is that Lucia was not to write down the "further revelations" at that time but rather in a later separate and distinct text — precisely as the so-called "Fatimists," including the late Father Gruner, have maintained all along.
Mr. Carollo continues with his non-denial: "The World Apostolate of Fatima, USA conferred with both the Fatima Shrine in Portugal and the postulator for Sister Lucia's cause about the translation." Yes, and what was the result? Mr. Carollo has nothing to say. Rather, he adds, quite irrelevantly, that "[t]he Sisters of Coimbra have submitted all documents related to the cause — including 11,000 letters — and all of Sister Lucia's private notes and oral narrations to them are now published in the biography. There is nothing more to be revealed, and nothing has been hidden." I am sorry but that just doesn't wash. First of all, the Virgin referred to "that which has been given to you to understand its [the vision's] meaning." It is inconceivable that the Virgin would direct that Her own precious explanation of the meaning of the vision published on June 26, 2000 be hidden forever and that we should have to rely instead on the likes of Cardinal Sodano for a patently ridiculous "interpretation" which claims that the vision's enigmatic depiction of a future Pope being executed by a band of soldiers outside a ruined city means John Paul II not being killed by a lone assassin in the intact city of Rome. Secondly, as I noted in my column of April 10, the Fatima scholar Solideo Paolini, in the wake of the new biography's revelations, wrote to the Convent in Coimbra to ask whether there is among Sister Lucia's documents a text which explains the meaning of the vision in the Virgin's own words. He received the reply that "it is not possible for now to consult the documents you request. In its time, everything will be published." So, contrary to Mr. Carollo's representation, not everything has been published. Yet again, denials regarding the existence of a text related to the vision and completing the integral Secret are negated by the emergence of new information. The cover-up can never quite succeed in tying up such loose ends. Finally, Mr. Carollo takes exception to my claim that WAF, when it was still the Blue Army, "surrendered to the Vatican Secretary of State" back in the 1980s. The evidence I present in Chapter 4 of my book demonstrates that what is now the WAF publicly declared when it was still the Blue Army that the Consecration of Russia was no longer to be made a public issue lest the diplomatic efforts of the Holy See be impeded — as if the Virgin Most Prudent were diplomatically inept. Now to be added to that evidence is an obvious manipulation of the words of the Blessed Virgin in order to defuse an explosive new revelation from the Convent in Coimbra — a manipulation for which Mr. Carollo offers no real explanation but only evasions. I agree with Mr. Carollo that the Message of Fatima is a message "we need to bring to the world, which so desperately and urgently needs to hear it." But we need to hear the whole message, including that part of the Third Secret yet to be revealed. The World Apostolate of Fatima owes its supporters and the Church, and Heaven itself, an accurate translation of what the Virgin said to Lucia about the meaning of the ambiguous vision whose "interpretation" continues to arouse controversy and division in the Church, nearly a century after the Virgin confided it to the three seers in the Cova da Iria.
I have to say your NUTS. call it judgement, whatever! you say you know nothing but then you seem to know ALL!???
The funny point in All of this is, the WAF didn't have to make this info public! But they did ,and still Mac cries info is withheld and the changed words(Mac are you that fluent in Portugese to English?)....blahh blahh blahh
I dont speak a word . But if Chris interpreted this wrong you can bet WAF would have mentioned it ... "está em paz e escreve o que te mandam, não porém o que te é dado entender do seu significado" — "be at peace, and write what I have commanded you, but not, however, that which has been given to you to understand its meaning."
"The July 1917 Secret of Fatima and Our Present Day": Sermon by Fr George Roth FI. A Day With Mary Reading Blessed Jacinta's list of Sins makes me think most of them are already fulfilled they just look like a description of the trouble of the present day world is suffering. THE TRUE STORY OF FATIMA Father John de Marchi, I.M.C, http://marienfried.com/mary page/fatima page/story of fatima/story of fatima - complete book.html Mother Godinho was so deeply impressed, that she recorded the following in her own hand. It is Jacinta, speaking of sin: "The sins which cause most souls to go to Hell are the sins of the flesh." "Fashions will much offend Our Lord. People who serve God should not follow the fashions. The Church has no fashions. Our Lord is always the same." "The sins of the world are very great." "If men knew what eternity is, they would do everything to change their lives." "People are lost because they do not think of the death of Our Lord, and do not do penance." "Many marriages are not of God, and do not please Our Lord." On the war: "Our Lady said that the world is full of war and discords." "Wars are the punishments for sin." "Our Lady cannot at present avert the justice of her Son from the world." "Penance is necessary. If people amend their lives, Our Lord will even yet save the world, but if not, punishment will come. The reference here (Mother Godinho has written) is to a great punishment of which she spoke in secret, and was revealed in her last days. But there is nothing to prevent its revelation now. Jacinta said that Our Lord was profoundly outraged by the sins and crimes which were committed in Portugal, and for this reason a terrible social cataclysm threatened our country and particularly the city of Lisbon. A civil war, or Communist revolution would be unchained, which would be accompanied by sacking and violence, and devastation of all kinds. The capital would be converted into an image of Hell. This threatened punishment should be revealed little by little and with due discretion.29 Jacinta, on priests and rulers: "You must pray much for sinners, and for priests and religious. Priests should concern themselves only with the things of the Church." "Priests must be very, very pure." "Disobedience of priests and religious to their superiors displeases our Lord very much." "Pray, Mother, for rulers." "Heaven forgive those who persecute the Church of Christ." "If the government would leave the Church in peace and give her liberty, it would have God's blessing." On Christian virtues: "Mother, fly from riches and luxury." "Love poverty and silence." "Have charity, even for bad people." "Do not speak evil of people, and fly from evil speakers." "Mortification and sacrifice please Our Lord very much." "Confession is a sacrament of mercy, and we must confess with joy and trust. There can be no salvation without confession." "The Mother of God wants more virgin souls bound by a vow of chastity." "I would gladly go to a convent, but I would rather go to Heaven. "To be a religious, one must be very pure in body and mind." "Do you know what it means to be pure?" I asked her. "Yes, yes, I know. To be pure in body means to be chaste, and to be pure in mind means not to commit sins; not to look at what one should not see, not to steal or lie, and always to speak the truth, even if it is hard." "Doctors do not know how to cure people properly, because they have not the love of God." "Who taught you these things?" I asked her. "Our Lady, but some of them I thought out myself. I love to think."
I love to think... Once you have walked many miles on your-journey you see things differently. The grace of God is flowing threw you. Your thoughts become more spiritual and one becomes aware of spiritual truths. The consolations of being on the path. Pray for us Santa Jacinta Brother al
