Thanks, I have CNN's map open, too, now. Currently it seems to be the same as NYTimes. What is interesting is that when I checked CNN this afternoon they had Trump at 10% odds of winning. They now have him at 60% odds. That's saying a lot coming from the Clinton News Network. Edit: I always find the vote reporting so ridiculous with how they call certain states so quickly, with only 2% of the vote in. This is a whole new level: both CNN and NYTimes have declared Wyoming and Montana for Trump, with 0.0% of the votes reported.
U.S. Futures are down more than 3%.....just riding the current wave of reports of Trump doing better in certain states than expected.
The stocks are crashing. The betting websites now have the odds of Trump winning at 80%. This is good news because both are signs that people who crunch the numbers and have money riding on this say the odds are with Trump to win. 168 electoral votes for Trump 131 electoral votes for Clinton 270 needed Keep praying. It is close! A long way to go!
The Drudge Report online is a really good source of live information state by state http://www.drudgereport.com/
yes, that is because each news organization has a threshold they set themselves about when they will call a projection. in the end the projections don't matter, but a news organization does not want to look bad and they want to project when they are as sure as possible. For example, in Florida, the western part is in a different time zone than the eastern part. Most of those western votes will be for Trump. At the same time, Hilary will do well in the urban areas, and since the population is dense in urban areas, the counts may take longer. So it is too hard to call, it is too close right now.
Drudge: We think about 1,580,000 votes remain to be counted. We think Donald J. Trump leads in that vote by about 8.9 points, based on what we know about those counties and the votes counted so far.
Drudge: Our best guess is that Donald J. Trump is on track to win in Michigan. We think about 2,291,000 votes remain to be counted. We think Donald J. Trump leads in that vote by about 2.4 points, based on what we know about those counties and the votes counted so far. As of 10:11 PM, we think about 52% of all votes in Michigan have been counted. Below, estimates for what votes have been counted and what votes remain.
Happy to see that PA is FINALLY edging towards Trumpy......wasn't looking forward to one of those "little" meteors heading this way with PA's name on it!
It's looking like a Trump presidency, a decent majority of Republicans in the House, and perhaps a simple majority of Republicans in the Senate. If the Republicans can't start turning things around in the country under these conditions then they are out of excuses. It's time to pray that Trump delivers on his *good* promises and policies, and that Congress is guided by the Spirit in their bills and voting.
