There will be an election this year and we all have a sacred duty to participate. Trump, whatever his personal moral failings, is the one candidate who has consistently and courageously defended the concept of "America First" during this primary. This is why he is universally hated by the special interests on both the Left and the Right. He committed the mortal sin of saying "America First." God forbid we actually have an America First Trade policy and an America First Foreign Policy. Failure to implement an America First Trade and Foregin Policy will bring about the "die is cast" scenario you envision. One thing is also certain: a vote for Hillary will bring about the dire "Die is cast" scenario you envision. Unlike Trump, Hillary puts a host of foreign, hostile interests before the interests of the American people. Unlike Trump, Hillary is a hardened warmonger who fully intends to escalate and expand the hard work that the Neocons begun under Bush and continued under Obama to bring the United States into a hot conflict with Russia and China. Unlike Trump, Hillary is an unrepentant pro-abortionist who will bring further judgment upon this nation if elected. God sends us the leaders we deserve. I am reminded that the Catholic vote was largely responsible for Barack Obama's two terms. God respected the depraved will of the Obama voters and gave us a Destroyer. God will also work through Trump, imperfect as he may be, but it will not be in the capacity of a Destroyer. Trump will fulfill another role: Just as Obama served as a precursor to the Antichrist, Trump will serve as a precursor to the coming Great Catholic Monarch: a ruler that restores rather than destroys. I am 57 years old and never thought I would see our country in the state it is in today....I have so much anxiety over the next few months because we are in the middle of the storm and I can't imagine what possibly could be next....but I suppose we have been warned/prepared for this for some time....things will get quite dicey between now and November.....batten down the hatches all and pray, pray and pray unceasingly

Sounds like a cop-out to me. There's absolutely no doubt that Clinton is an avid supporter of abortion - right up to partial birth abortion. I can't believe that people would give that woman a free pass to the most powerful job on earth. Not only will she be able to promote the evil abortion agenda in the US, she will push it throughout the world especially in countries where American aid buys influence. She will also be able to hand pick enough members of the US Supreme Court to ensure that her brand of evil holds sway for decades to come. Tonight on BBC, I saw someone from Rubio's campaign (possibly his campaign manager) say that he would vote for Clinton rather than Trump if there is no third party candidate (presumably one chosen by the Bush/Romney crowd). Love him or loathe him, Trump is the choice of the party's registered members whom the mega rich hypocrites have been stringing along by giving them the impression that they had a say. Now, like relics of the imperial aristocracy, they have decided that the peasants don't know what's good for them. If nothing else, Trump has finally shown them in their true colours. Shame on them and shame on anyone who supports them.
To think in this day and age that you will somehow accomplish something when you only vote locally you must be out of touch with the progressive flow of power. We saw and continue to see how Obama usurps as much power as he could get away with for the purpose of eliminating legitimate state control. States don't count with his ilk. Only Federal/national control is permitted. And Hillary has always been a control freak. Remember when her husband handed her the job of forming a new socialist health care plan and she wouldn't allow any advice from the outside...closing herself off to avoid any intrusion in her complete control. We've seen this same purpose of hiding her actions when she used her private email server et al. When she's caught she lies to attempt to hold on to that control. Anyone who would hand someone like that the power to take over more and more local decisions is simply naive or derelict of duty. The road to hell, as they say, is paved with good intentions.
Spot-on. I'm not American and even I can see that the Presidency matters. Whatever else Trump might have been guilty of, he didn't lie to the faces of the grieving relatives of young Americans who had been shipped home in body bags, shaking their hands and saying "We'll get that video maker". That alone should put every true American in the "anyone but Clinton" camp.
Hilary has communist tendencies, but Trump's tendencies are clearly fascist. Either is a proven danger. As has been said in the discussion over a third party candidate, America can do better. It has also been said we need an adult as president. Trump is an adolescent-minded fool and an embarrassment. I for one will not accept either evil choice. Neither is pro-life, no matter how Trump continues to fool so-called conservatives. Neither respects the rights of citizens in the best and most respected democracy on the face of the earth. The idea of amoral Trump having control of the best military on the face of the earth is frightening to any thinking, reasonable person. He is incoherant and childish at best, evil at worst. That is no alternative to Hilary. God help us elect a good president. The Republican party is now dead. This has happened before to parties in this country. Parties have evolved and eventually settled into a two party system again. The party now named "Republican" is only as old as the 1850s. We did without it before. It was a new party when Lincoln got elected, when other choices were considered the only ones and Lincoln won. That can happen again. I will pray every day that happens again, I will not give up like so many great civilizations have in the past who thought they needed a tyrant to come in and "fix things up" when all they did was hasten their doom. That is what history shows us. Don't fall for it. We can overcome this just as the new party of Lincoln did. We need a new conservative party and I will do what I can and donate what I can to preserve the moral foundation of my country.
