Hi little_flower10, Thank you so much for starting this thread! I've never taken 'millennialism' seriously until now. I think we should trust the Church and follow Her Teachings since we believe She is guided by the Holy Spirit. Why bet on some anonymous, dubious and unapproved private revelations instead? Here's a Decree of the Holy Office by Pope Pius XII (Jul 21, 1944) that says it all: “In recent times on several occasions this Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office has been asked what must be thought of the system of mitigated Millenarianism, which teaches, for example, that Christ the Lord before the final judgment, whether or not preceded by the resurrection of the many just, will come visibly to rule over this world. The answer is: The system of mitigated Millenarianism cannot be taught safely” As to whether you are a heretic because you believe otherwise... I think you should be OK unless you start advocating and promoting heretical teachings to others God bless !
Thank you for the reply! I think regarding the private revelations/messages, - in another thread someone suggested that it's referring to the Warning, not to the literal physical Second Coming of Our Lord... that could be true also, I don't know. God bless!
In defense of that statement Little Flower, the warning is often discussed or described as Jesus' coming to us, for lack of a better way to explain it. You do need to be very careful how you read especially peoples' candid comments, and also some of these "messages" out there for this slight misspeak. In a sense he is coming, he will be in a vision in the sky in some sort of sign and he will be in our heads showing us how our sins hurt him and so forth. So yes, as you try to interpret the words of others discussing Jesus coming soon, keep this in mind.
